3 dormitorios, 1 baño, cocina completa, comedor, lavadora y secadora, terraza acristalada con 1 juego de literas y 1 cama doble, mesa con sillas y una sala de estar. La cubierta delantera tiene vista a la bahía de Grand Traverse, y la cubierta posterior tiene una parrilla de barbacoa y una agradable mesa y sillas. Pozo de fuego justo en la terraza trasera con 9 sillas. House está directamente frente a canchas de tenis, canchas de básquetbol y un área de juegos para niños (en la playa). Puedes sentarte en la terraza delantera y ver a los niños jugar. 2 cuadras del centro de Elk Rapids. A pie de la sala de cine de la ciudad, la cena y el pub local. ¡Trae tus tablas Kayaks y Paddle y podrás lanzarlas directamente en la playa! Traverse City está a 20 minutos en coche. Hay un casino a 15 minutos y las dunas de arena para dormir duerme a solo 45 minutos. Mackinac Island es una gran excursión de un día y está a solo 1. 5 horas de distancia. ¡Ubicación perfecta para cualquier escapada ~ vacaciones familiares o viajes de chicas / chicos! Great cottage

We enjoyed our stay in Elk Rapids. The cottage is right across from a park and beach. Short walk to downtown for restaurants, coffee, and bars. Would love to come back!

Clean with all the amenities and a one block walk to downtown Elk Rapids. Staring at the park and beach out the front window never grows old. Perfect getaway.

Getaway at Elk Rapids

The home and village were very comfortable and it welcomed our 18 month old pup. Everything was easy walking distance and the area was beautiful. It was a great home base to explore other areas but at the end of the day we felt we are at home.

Nice place & great location

Really enjoyed the park and beach. Dog friendly area and pleasant neighborhood. Good restaurants for dinner nearby. One small bathroom might be a challenge if more than 2 people are staying here but it was fine for the 2 of us.Well stocked kitchen was much appreciated.

fun-filled getaway

We totally enjoyed our time at your beach cottage. It was clean, adorable, roomy and well stocked with everything we would need. Communication with the owner was very prompt and easy. On top of everything we were able to bring our dog which doesn't happen often. Elk Rapids is the sweetest small vacation town. Thank You

Quaint Elk Rapids home

Great place to stay. I can’t say enough about the host Miriah. She was so helpful and available to answer any questions. The house was clean and cozy and decorated adorable! I would definitely recommend staying here! I think the summer would be awesome as we stayed in the middle of a blizzard but still had a great experience! The view of the bay is right out the front window! Great location close to everything we love in Elk Rapids!

a relaxing trip

The property was very nice and had plenty of space for everyone to relax. The beach and playground are a perfect place for the kids to play without having to pack up and travel far from home. The downtown area was withing walking distance. Overall a very good trip. The only advice,, if you are allergic to dogs this is not the place for you. The sofas both were covered in dog hair and there was no doubt there were dogs there before us.

Amazing Location - Right on the Lake!

I cant say enough about this Gem! We drove from Chicago to Elk Rapids (only a 5 hour easy drive) and Miriah the host was/is amazing. She let us check-in early and check out late, the process was so easy ! She gave us so many great recommendations on food, drinks, activities and area favorites. First the location is AMAZING, the beach is right across the street and walking distance to downtown. Downtown Elk Rapids is great - great shops, restaurants and bars even a great donut/coffee shop! Only 25 mins to Traverse City and 20 mins to Torch Lake. The house itself is immaculate and can accommodate many guests (lots of rooms) + Dog Friendly too. The Living room was my favorite with the bay window that looks out at the water just so relaxing. Thank you for an amazing 4 day weekend. We will be back this summer!

A cozy, quaint cottage with a great location

Very enjoyable stay! Great communication and Mariah was a perfect host. Not on the water but a wonderful location across the road from East Traverse Bay and a superb city park. A short walk to downtown. The house has lots of beds and was comfortable, well equipped and inviting. Only 1 bathroom which might be a little challenging with a large group. We had 4 adults and 2 children and it worked out fine for us. Note that the property only has parking for 2 cars (maybe 3 if they're small and you're creative). Plenty of parking on Main St. adjacent the property but the City does not allow overnight parking. I brought a small boat and was able to park with the trailer at an adjacent under-construction house per Mariah's suggestion. Otherwise I was told there's a lot somewhere in the downtown area where you can park your boat trailer. It worked out fine but may want to inquire further if you have multiple vehicles or a boat-trailer. Overall had a great time!

Amazing young family getaway

The location was perfect for a family with kids. The beach playground right across the street provided hours of fun and beautiful views. Just a short walk to downtown with cute shops and restaurants. We saw salmon swimming in the river too! Inside the kids loved the bunk beds and TVs in every room! If you have little kids know that the room with the double bed against the wall has a barn-door slider style door instead of a regular one, which can be tricky for little kids (we just put our older kid in that room, so it worked for us). The only thing that threw us off was that we were expected to wash towels AND put them in the dryer before we left. This meant we had to plan an extra hour after our morning showers to head out waiting for the washer to be done so we could change it over to the dryer before leaving. (Other places we've stayed we typically are just asked to pop them in the washer and start it before we go, not have to wait to get it into the dryer). However, I would gladly stay again as this is my only complaint and it is a small inconvenience for staying in such a nice location.
