You can stroll to coffee in the morning, spend the afternoon at the beaches of Grand Traverse Bay or Elk Lake, and enjoy dinner or ice cream without ever moving your car.
The scene is peaceful and friendly, with tree-lined streets, beautiful lake sunsets, and locally owned shops and restaurants. In the summer, it feels lively but never overwhelming. It’s the perfect blend of small-town warmth and lakeside escape, which is exactly what makes it so special to me.
