CASA HISTÓRICA en el pintoresco pueblo de Elk Rapids.

Esta espaciosa casa a solo unos pasos del Memorial Park con una hermosa fachada en las costas arenosas de Grand Traverse Bay. Ideal para familias numerosas, familias múltiples, reuniones familiares o retiros corporativos.

Esta casa ofrece 5 habitaciones:
Un dormitorio principal en el primer piso con cama king size, baño privado y vestidor, suite principal en el segundo piso con baño privado y cama king size, el tercer dormitorio se completa con una cama queen más una cama de día con cama nido, el cuarto dormitorio tiene una reina cama, quinto dormitorio es ideal para los niños con tres camas individuales. Pase una noche lujosa sumergiéndose en la bañera con patas después de disfrutar de un día en la playa. La casa es ideal para el entretenimiento con una cocina gourmet y un gran comedor formal, así como también cenas al aire libre en la terraza con vista a hermosas puestas de sol. Maravillosa comunidad de pueblo pequeño con muchas actividades al aire libre cerca.

Dos mesas al aire libre más asientos y sillones adicionales para el entretenimiento al aire libre. Dos parrillas de carbón están disponibles para su uso. Hay una mesa de billar para su disfrute.


Marina está cerca con acceso de lanzamiento de botes al lago Michigan, Grand Traverse Bay, Elk Lake, Torch Lake, Lake Skegemog. El porche es un gran lugar para relajarse al final del día. Beautiful home on the water!

Great house, perfect for 8 guys on a golf trip. Pool table and ping pong in the garage, BBQ grill, couldn’t have asked for a better setup. If we come back to this area for future golf outings we are definitely renting this one again!

Elk Rapids House

Great Property. Only issue was bath/shower on upper floor. No shower, just a tub with a shower attachment. Very clean and well equipped. I'd highly recommend this property

Family getaway

We stayed 3 nights and everything was great. The owners were able to allow us to come last minute with the stay home orders lifted. The house is bigger than expected. The location is perfect right across street from beach and playground. Walking distance to downtown area. We enjoyed our getaway and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend the house

Everything you need for a wonderful visit to Elk Rapids.

This property offered everything our family needed for a great stay. Wonderfully clean, beautifully decorated, plenty of space and all the amenities you will need. The garage space was a great place for fun with billiards, ping pong and air hockey. We missed enjoying the sun room but look forward to seeing it next year. The location, right across from the beach, made for great sunset views. The charm of Elk Rapids and the friendliness of its' people made for a warm, inviting stay. Thanks to Don and Renee for responding quickly to any questions we had. We really felt like it was important to them that we enjoyed our visit.

Fall family get away

My family had a great time at this property. The pictures on the website did not do justice to the house or the yard . It is a great house with such charm and character that we could have stayed indoors the whole trip. Elk Rapids is a very nice little town, and we found several places to shop and have meals. We were blessed with excellent weather the whole time we were there, and even got a surprise visit by a pair of bald eagles, just across the street and to the south. We are already talking about another trip to this property, possibly next summer, to enjoy the area in the sunshine. We all liked the cleanliness of the house and the ample supply of everything necessary to be comfortable. Thanks for the great memories we had the opportunity to create!

Love Elk Rapids

We really enjoyed the proximity to the Elk Rapids public beach and downtown Elk Rapids. Everything was within walking distance :)

Wonderful stay

This grand house in elk rapids was perfect for our family gathering. We had a wonderful time - with lots of room for four couples. The walk across the road to the bay to watch the sunsets was a daily highlight. The quaint town itself is a little walk down the street. A treasure for sure - Be prepared for stairs - four bedrooms are up. Thank you to the owners - Renee and Don - for the opportunity. .

Historic Home

The Widow’s Walk was so special in many ways. We were in Elk Rapids for the interment of our beloved father and grandfather. It was a time of love, loss and sharing. The Widow’s walk was perfect. The large size of the property afforded privacy for all parties but still remained intimate and welcoming. Our family spent time on the beach across the street and on rainy days the rec room/garage was the place to be or the library which was another favorite space. The kitchen was well equipped but we did run out of tea towels often, we are a family of cooks and we spend lots of time in the kitchen. Otherwise, there was plenty of bath and bed linens and the beds and pillows ensured that everyone had a wonderful rest every night. We love Elk Rapids and hope to visit the Widow’s Walk again. Many thanks to Gerry and Renee for giving us this opportunity for a special family gathering.

Lovely home; ideal location

The house is really cool and perfect for a family gathering. The six of us had plenty of room to spread out or come together in the spacious living and dining room. We loved that we could walk across the street to see the sunset over the bay and into town for dinner or drinks. It's also a short drive from Traverse City and other great spots in Northern Michigan.

Beautiful historic home in perfect location

I really can’t imagine a better place to celebrate my daughter’s intimate wedding on the beach. We had to change plans last minute from going to St. John, Us Virgin Islands to this historic home in Elk Rapids. The home was above our expectations on every level, pictures do not do it justice, owners were so accommodating and helpful. The town and surroundings were in many ways even better than the carribean.

Location, location, location.

This house is more spectacular than the pictures can do for it. Perfect for the large family and right across from the water, park and playground while just down the street from town. Our family loved it. It's historic look and modern conveniences make it a great place to stay. Recommend again and again.

Great for all ages!

Our family had a fantastic time at this historical home with 5 large bedrooms that made the 4 grandchildren, their parents and we grandparents very comfortable. The library was full of games for all ages and the garage had a pool table, table tennis and air hockey The weather was unusually hot for Northern Michigan and although there was no air conditioning there were multiple fans and everyone went in the lake across the street to cool off. We enjoyed the shopping and restaurants we could walk to in Elk Rapids and not so busy as some of the nearby tourist towns. The owner was great with any needs ( we couldn't find tools for the grill and they were provided within 1/2 hour of our request). Everyone is looking forward to another summer vacation at this beautiful spot.

More Room Than Expected - Perfect Location

The house was larger than the photos indicate and the location is walking distance from town. We had 3 families and had plenty of space. We walked across the street to the beach, which has a large shallow area that is perfect for smaller children. The neighborhood feels less like a Resort town and more like an Up North community. The property owner made herself available if needed, but we didn't require any assistance. The home was clean and has a lot of windows. We planned on making more day trips to T.C., but we ended up enjoying the house and Elk Rapids far more than expected. We will likely go back next summer.

Great for a large group!

A large group of friends came up for the weekend and had a great time! Perfect location, walking distance to downtown Elk Rapids, beach across the street for swimming and bonfires, as well as a huge playground in the park across the street for people with kids. There were a lot of us and we all slept comfortably and had a ton of space to relax and enjoy our vacation. The kitchen had everything we needed and we ate in for most meals. The house was very clean and well kept. Great stay!
