Esta hermosa casa completamente remodelada de 2400 pies cuadrados está situada en las afueras de la ciudad en el lado este. Tiene vistas a la montaña de 180 grados desde el frente, que son ventanas masivas, un bonito patio trasero y mucha vida silvestre como aves migratorias, alces e incluso osos que a veces caminan por el vecindario. We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. All appliances worked with no issues. The beautiful view of the mountains and woods across the street was an added bonus. This home is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood, it was about 20 minutes from downtown with lots of restaurants and parks nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Our extended family had a wonderful stay in Anchorage. House was clean, spacious, well equipped, and had a beautiful mountain view out of the front window. We all slept comfortably and had plenty of space for the six of us to spread out. Hot tub was a bonus and felt great after a long day of exploring the Anchorage area.

We enjoyed our stay immensely and appreciated the very quick responses to any issues we encountered. Zeb was very efficient in attempting to deal with the bath tub issue and had his contractor come the same day he received our message.Although the bath issue was not fully resolved during the time we were in Anchorage, the upstairs shower was very large and very clean! There were mixed reviews on the beds, although my husband and I slept very well in the master bedroom upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked and exceptionally clean, and we loved all the living space we had to visit and play games. Almost every morning we enjoyed seeing one or two moose in the neighbor's yard across the street. What a wonderful time we had exploring the city and the surrounding areas from your home. It was a very convenient location, and Zeb's suggestions for sites to visit were fantastic.

The overall cleanliness was not good. One stove did not work at all. Missing cranks on many of the windows. The hot tub was green with algae and could not be used. The location was good and the communication with the owner was good, but we were disappointed in the house

Thomas, we were surprised by this review, especially since none of these concerns were brought to our attention until checkout. Had you contacted us during your seven-night stay, we would have immediately sent someone over to address them, just as we responded when you requested additional hangers and washcloths. When I followed up about the cleanliness complaint, the specific issues mentioned were dust on a bathroom baseboard and inside one dresser drawer. While we take even small cleaning oversights seriously, we do not believe those two items accurately reflect the overall cleanliness of the entire home. The pantry contains complimentary “take some, leave some” food items that many guests appreciate, particularly when arriving late in Anchorage with limited nearby shopping options. We are reviewing those items more frequently to ensure dates are checked. The downstairs stove’s pilot light had gone out and was promptly corrected once we learned about it. The main upstairs kitchen stove remained fully operational throughout the stay. Most importantly, the statement that the hot tub was green with algae and unusable is not consistent with what we found. The guest who checked out the same day you arrived specifically said the hot tub was great and left a five-star review. After receiving your checkout message, we immediately inspected the hot tub, photographed its condition, and provided those photographs to Vrbo. Because the hot tub is outdoors and surrounded by grass, trees, and moss, occasional natural debris or an earthy outdoor smell can occur, but it was not filled with algae or unusable. We also accommodated your early check-in and your requested reservation changes. We genuinely want every guest to enjoy the home, but we can only correct concerns during a stay when they are communicated to us. We encourage all future guests to contact us immediately if anything needs attention so we have the opportunity to resolve it.

Stayed here with kids while wife was at hospital for planned visit. Lots of rooms and plenty of beds for us all to enjoy. Hot tub was nice! Backyard was nice to let the kids run around. Location was close to hospital so that was a plus. Zeb was very accommodating and quick to respond. Would recommend for family’s big and small!

So many places to choose from in Anchorage — our decision to choose this spot was based on location. It’s in a great spot, with a fantastic view, and the owner was very quick to respond with a text - or pick up his phone on the first or second ring if I called.It’s a rental that is very easy to just relax into, with a great split-level set up for multiple families —— including bathroom on each floor.We didn’t really feel like cooking meals, but the utensils, appliances and cookware met our breakfast prep needs.We did not use the hot tub at all, and, if I’m being honest - while I thought it would be cool to have the separate “hot tub house”, this was absolutely the reason why we never used it. If it were right on the deck, we probably would have.We would absolutely re-book this location if/when we return to the area. We just may not pack swimwear next time.

Perfect Home Away From Home
