Este encantador apartamento te cautivará con sus vistas panorámicas del puerto y el océano. A solo unos pasos de la playa para que puedas sumergir tus dedos en las blancas arenas de Destin. Este condominio le dará la vista perfecta de la puesta de sol en el agua. La unidad 715 se ha actualizado recientemente, pintura nueva, colchones y decoración de playa. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama King y un televisor LCD de 19 ". El dormitorio de invitados tiene 2 camas individuales y un televisor LCD de 19 ". Vas a estar en la playa, así que relájate, trae tu protector solar y toma el sol en este hermoso condominio. Recuerda que la unidad 715 es el sueño. 32 'TV en la sala

Nice stay as always!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our room was clean as always. It was not stocked well this year. No spatulas, strainer or measuring cups. We cook a lot because we like to stay in so a well stocked kitchen is a must! We left out complaints with the front desk because it was all minor stuff that can easily be fixed. We were told we were getting a discount that we never received but hopefully it was just a mistake. Overall we love it here and will come back!

Disappointing

I sent 3 messages to the host prior to check-in with no response. That was the first red flag. The entire time we were there only one of the two elevators was operable. At one point neither was working and we had my 83 year old mother with us and this condo was on the 7th floor. The bathrooms are in need of updates. At one point the entry gate into the property wasn't working. This is the first time I've stayed in a property that I wouldn't rebook or recommend to others. Very disappointing!

Vacation

This property yard crew does an AMAZING job on the upkeep. The grass looked great along with the amenities. I was very impressed on the cleanliness of the property as well. The room we had (715) didn’t have the view we were exactly expecting, but it didn’t take away from the time we had. The staff was very helpful & treated us with the utmost respect. I would definitely recommend anyone to check out this condo.

Very relaxing trip. The master bed was Very comfortable. Could use a little updating on bed pillows and carpet. Had everything we need. Overall a great trip.

Unexpected building construction

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room was clean as always. Grounds are well kept. Our 7th floor balcony was closed all but 2 of our 5 nites there. We are on the top floor so this is the best part of our room. The view from the balcony, sitting on the balcony, putting our wet towels and suits on the balcony, having a place to put our sand toys. We were informed of the construction at 11:30 am the day we checked in by email. We were not informed of our balcony closure until we got into our room. The staff was very apologetic and offered us a 20% discount on our stay. It was appreciated. Otherwise it’s a great place to stay.

Beach vacation

Everything was as described. It was a very short walk to the beach; Allen was very nice, eager to help with chairs and umbrella. There are only two elevators, wait time was typically 1-3 minutes, walk from elevator to room was on an outdoor balcony; thankfully it didn’t rain. Front desk staff were polite and helpful. Since it was a coin laundry room instead of in room washer/dryer, we brought towels from home to use for the bulk of the trip and since linen exchange days were so far apart (not sure if it included towels) and out of fear of being charged for possible stains to linens/towels not that it was anticipated though. Master bath and bedroom was very spacious with a quiet and comfortable bed; 2nd bedroom had noisier beds, headboard sounded like it moved when changing positions in bed. Overall, very relaxing, true to description, clean, and would stay again.

First VRBO experience

This was our first VRBO experience and it was perfect! The condo was just as described! The best selling point was the twin beds in the second room. We had privacy for ourselves and the girls had their own beds! Could have easily slept another person or 2 on the couches. Beach was nearby and amenities are beautifully maintained!

One year the bed was a slab of concrete (717). And now, this year we walked in on 5 dead roaches. Glad they were dead and we did not see others. SO, if that is all I can say bad, then The Islander Resort gets high marks. Yes, we would return! So you know, the staff was very concerned about our experience! Good people! We love the property and location!

cleanliness issues

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying here on and off for over 20 years, and enjoy the property location and the great staff. This time we had some uncomfortable cleanliness issues that caused us to check out early. We couldn't understand how the cleaning staff could have missed what we found. We reported it to the front desk, who said they would look into it, but after finding this, we weren't comfortable staying because of wondering what else may have been missed in cleaning. It is a nice property in general, but this situation has made us wonder if we will return. In the past I would recommend this property, but now would hesitate to.

Enjoyed our time here

We enjoyed our stay here at the 715. Instructions were clear and check in was smooth. The place was clean and the plumbing was great. The towels and extra towels were useful. The AC was working well. Thank you.

They could do better

Reviewer Comments: This is my 2nd time staying at the Islander and this time I was very disappointed not at the condo we were staying at but at the management. We were there for a week and the whole time there they only had 1 working elevator and on Sunday when we were leaving the second elevator stopped working as well so we had to get all of our belongings down the stairs multiple trips from the 7th floor while traveling with our elderly moms and two small children. I told the lady at the reception the day before we left the elevator was acting up because it kept opening and closing the door and her reply was “oh is that what it’s doing” I mean you would think for over a week they would have fixed the broken elevator and not have people wait forever for that ONE elevator which was working overtime that it broke. There are handicapped people at that place and cleaning services what are they supposed to do. I honestly don’t think I want to stay at a place that can’t have a working elevator. Our condo was in a great shape there were few things broken when we arrived but it didn’t bothered me as much as the lack of caring from the staff. For the amount of money we are paying you would think they would be on top of it. If you’re traveling with small kids and or elderly I would seriously think twice about staying here.

The space was clean, everything we could have needed for a week was there, and the staff at the front desk were so helpful. The views from this unit are gorgeous. We were trying to decide between the east tower and west tower, and hands down the west tower is the way to go for the views. Towel exchange was great to have a couple times a week and beach service was the best. We even got to paddle board out with dolphins one day. The beach and jetty with the boats coming and going was magical. Loved everything.

Great spot in Destin

The property's location was great. The private beach entrance was very nice. We enjoyed the beach chairs that were included in our stay. Overall it was an awesome stay. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Destin Location

This condo went above our expectations. It was clean, had everything you needed and was decorated so cute with beach theme decorations! The view was BEAUTIFUL and so were the sunsets! We were at the beach enjoying the sunshine and warm temperatures everyday. Look no further this is your Destin destination!

Great stay!

Stayed with a friend and our daughters. Room was very nice, clean, but not as roomy enough for that 5th person. You need a car to drive to area restaurants and activities. Short and easy 2 min. walk to beach. It was nice that 2 chairs and umbrellas were included with condo rental. Pool and hot tubs were nice.

Very nice condo!

We had a short but funfilled trip to Destin. We did not cook anything while we were there but the unit appears to be stocked with everything one would need. The unit was nicely decorated and very comfortable, we even took a break one afternoon from the heat and watched a movie on Netflix. There is a short walk to the beach but easily manageable. The pool and hot tub are refreshing. I would stay here again if I would ever to go back to Destin.
