Este condominio de vacaciones frente al Golfo está situado en la hermosa Florida Destin a lo largo de la Costa Esmeralda. Este encantador condominio cuenta con muchos ascensos y rentas en un 10% de descuento de la tasa de plata. Además, el condominio tiene capacidad para 6 personas con un rey en el dormitorio principal, 2 camas individuales en el dormitorio de invitados, y un sofá cama en la sala de estar. Esta unidad también cuenta con una gran televisión de alta definición de pantalla plana en la sala de estar y pantallas planas en ambos dormitorios. Desde su propio balcón privado, disfrute de esta magnífica vista de una de las 10 mejores playas del mundo. Desde su patio puede disfrutar de una vista completa de la playa con mucha actividad, parasailing, pescadores, paddle surf, nadadores, y si tiene suerte tal vez incluso algunos delfines. Cuando esté listo para ir a la playa, estará a una corta distancia a pie..

We really really REALLY loved our stay here!! And we are already planning to come back!! The view from the balcony was THE BEST PART about this unit!! Our room wasn’t ready at check-in & the front desk told us that is “b/c check-in is technically between 4-7pm” in which I replied so that means we could be waiting here until 7pm before we can get in our room? And they said yes but that they’re just a little behind and have to finish room checks and could text me as soon as it’s done. They also offered us bracelets (that act as keys) so that we could walk the beach. Our unit was ready about 45min later. The unit itself is pretty dang big and it has a ton of storage space and table top space! Not overly crowded with shelf decor either! The pans and knives are in rough shape and they didn’t have any decent size bowls for eating a bowl of cereal. The rugs in every room were absolutely disgusting which was really my only big issue. I also didn’t like that there wasn’t a nightstand in between the beds in the 2nd room. And the wall decor in the main rooms are really hideous. Bring extension cords too bc the outlets are few and spread out and some are hidden. The unit itself was very very clean though!! The 2nd bathroom felt a bit outdated. We also loved: laundry room took credit cards, the hotel has towel exchange every Tues and Thurs. And it’s super easy to add more beach chairs & umbrellas to the free ones you get with the room if you need more! S/O to Allan our beach attendant!

Beautiful Views

This condo was beautifully kept and had great views of the gulf. The location was very convenient to so many great restaurants and shopping along with water activities. We will defend be back next year !

Very family friendly

Family Trip

We had a little trouble opening and closing the kitchen drawer to get spoons, forks etc. The beds in the guest room could be replaced. They were a little soft and lumpy.

Unit 501 needs some detail work and new furniture.Doing laundry was tough with only 2 out of 5 washing machines working.Fun activities with very welcoming staff and renters.My advice, research your unit!

It was nearly perfect!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only thing between us and the ocean was a swimming pool! The view was great. We were on the 5th floor and on the furthest end from the elevator. We ended up taking the stairs a lot because we were closer to the stairs. I’d like to stay closer the the elevator next time but not a big deal. The beds were not that comfortable. Overall, the condo was beautiful. Bring coffee stuff, including filters if you’re a coffee drinker. The customer service was outstanding!

Beautiful Beach, Spacious Condo, Horrible Beds!

*The condo was very spacious. LOVED having the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and full kitchen. HOWEVER, the beds are the worst we have ever slept in... EVER! We travel A LOT and they were worse than any hotel or even cruise bed we've slept in. The beach was beautiful, however, there were no restaurants/bars, etc within walking distance. You really had to drive everywhere. I am used to jumping out of the pool or the ocean and walking somewhere for lunch, a drink, etc. We called the resort at 10:30am to let them know that we arrived, and would love an early- check in if possible. They agents were friendly, but I would assume (Working in the travel industry for 15 years) that they would notify housekeeing to clean that room earlier in the day. While check-in is at 3, it isn't guranteed until 5. They called us about 4:00 to let us know that our room was finally ready. At the end of the day- it really depends on what is important to you if this would be a good place. The short walk to the beach was nice but you really have to drive to get anywhere. I don't think I would necessairly stay here again given the very uncomfortble beds and that nothing was really in walking distance. For the price we paid, there was nothing special about this resort. Disappointed with Dirty Room

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was pretty disappointed and disgusted as I kept finding trash around the condo that did not belong to us. An XL pizza box and bottles and cans underneath the master bed. Open bottle of KY Jelly (used, gross) between the pillow and headboard. Oreos and soda bottles between beds in the kids’ room. The cleaning before we arrived must not have been very thorough at all. Definitely the dirtiest condo we’ve stayed in at the Islander, and we’ve been coming for 30 years.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very Disappointed. Had 4 cockroaches. hole in wall on the baseboard when you first walk into the kitchen ( a safe haven for Bugs). The pull out couch you sink when you sit has stains all over the bed no one would sleep on it. The loveseat and chair are dirt and again you sink when you sit. Beds are hard. Some electrical outlets are old where when you plug in your cell charger it falls out. I have stayed at The Islander before ( 7 different condos). 501 was the worst. Never agin would I stay at The Islander.

relaxing vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental experience went smoothly. The unit had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Really like the location and amenities available at the Islander. It would be nice to have some extra beach chairs available in the unit to use since we like to hang out on the beach after the beach service ends for the day or if we have guests staying in the unit with us. The only problem we have encountered not just on this stay but on two other trips is that people smoke out on the balconies even though smoking isn't supposed to be allowed and we have heard dogs barking in units when pets aren't supposed to be allowed. We have reported these things when they have occurred but not sure anything is done about it since it is difficult to know which units the smoking comes from. As a non-smoker it really ruins my time on my balcony when people don't obey the rules.

Great place to stay!
