Sailmakers sits on the marina, with a stunning, large south facing terrace, overlooking the many fishing and leisure boats. A real sun trap and perfect for watching the world go by and enjoying alfresco breakfast, lunch and evening dinners. The gate from the terrace opens directly onto the wide walkway around the marina. From here it is just a two minutes walk to Exmouth beach front, a perfect location with endless opportunities for watersports, coastal walking, or just enjoying the fabulous seaside and maritime ambience.
If this is not enough, Sailmakers is a perfect base for exploring other Devonshire coastal towns with Lympstone, Topsham, Budleigh Salterton and Dawlish on your doorstep. The university City of Exeter with its huge variety of shops and cultural attractions is also less than half an hour away by train or car.
Having undergone recent renovations, the apartment leaves you wanting for nothing. Fittings are modern and stylish. It offers you a luxurious home with three beautifully appointed double bedrooms, with one en-suite for the master bedroom and a jack and jill bathroom for bedrooms 2 and 3.

Lovely apartment, clean and warm. Great location for accessing beach and close to the town. Quiet and enjoyed playing the games when we were in the apartment.Lots of lovely touches and Prosecco to welcome in the new year.Good communication from the host Great stay fully recommend. Family member did the run on new year day and the power boat racing was fabulous to see.

From the minute we (4 friends for two nights) walked in, No 3 exceeded our expectations. Right on the side of the marina, the apartment was clean and very well furnished. Welcome mince pies & bottle of Prosecco were a thoughtful touch. Our hosts, Ruth & Phil, were brilliant from the moment I booked. Welcome email, local information, restaurant suggestions, totally brilliant. Highly Recommend !

Lovely property, extremely well situated on the Marina Spacious and well equipped. Excellent large patio with outside seating,Canopy and table with umbrella. Very close to Exmouth town, beach and many excellent restaurants.Liaison with the owner was extremely good and friendly ! Would highly recommend.

Another amazing week in Exmouth with 4 adults and 2 children. This luxury accommodation is in a fantastic position, just 2 minutes from the beach. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped. Lovely view of the marina and very quiet. The hosts communicated well and are very helpful. This is our second stay here, and we have already booked for next year. We absolutely love it here.

Favourite Vrbo property

A truly outstanding holiday property – we felt it had the best location on Exmouth Marina. Everything was within walking distance: the beach, boats, scenic walks, the South West Coast Path, shops, a park, buses, the train station, and even M&S Food. Ruth was exceptionally friendly, easy to reach, and very helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Fantastic location and apartment!

We enjoyed a fantastic stay. The apartment was perfect - spotlessly clean, very well equipped and location couldn’t be better. Close to the beach and also a short walk to the duck pond - perfect for paddleboarding.

Perfect accommodation

Second time we have stayed here. Its right overlooking marina and handy for walking to beach. Apartment has absolutely everything you could ever need and owners reply straight away if you message them for any reason. Most definitely home from home. We love it!

Another lovely stay

This was our third stay at Sailmakers apartment in Exmouth and will be booking for next year ! The location is excellent , the apartment beautiful with everything you need . You can tell the owners really care that you have an enjoyable stay. They respond to any queries very quickly and are so lovely in any communication.. If you are thinking of booking, do not hesitate :-)

Superb holiday

We had a great week in Exmouth. We come here every year, and this is the best accommodation we have stayed in. The property is in a fantastic location and equipped with everything you need. It is very modern and clean, with plenty of space for the 6 of us. The host was very accommodating and we were able to check in early on our first day of arrival. I would definitely recommend this property, and we will be back again in the future. Absolutely brilliant.

Fabulous marina side vacation apartment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The property and location is excellent. Large 3 bed two bath luxury home with huge patio looking onto the marina. The pictures do not do the home justice, much larger in person. Modern and very comfortable ground floor location. Hosts super friendly and responsive. We had a super time. Thanks Ruth!

Beautiful apartment, perfect location

We loved the apartment , it is beautifully decorated , well equipped and in a great location . The apartment has fantastic views of the marina which you are able to enjoy from the terrace , a great place to sit and watch the world go by . The hosts were very responsive to any queries and provided excellent information ahead of and during our stay. They appear to have thought of everything to ensure you get the best experience ! Lovely location on Exmouth Marina

A high quality , comfortable and well located apartment right on Exmouth Marina . Well equipped and good quality soft furnishings , bedding and towels Good communication from owner , and we loved the property overall and wouldn’t hesitate to book again Small points but meant as constructive feedback and as this a premium priced property to give it 5* , it would need a couple of small tweaks , eg TV in master bedroom , en-suite bathroom upgrade and black out curtains in bedrooms . These are minor in the overall holiday experience though .
