Bellamente mantenido y decorado 4 dormitorios más bonificación, casa frente al mar cuenta con 3 habitaciones frente al sonido y 1 dormitorio con vista al mar más sala de desbordamiento adicional en el frente de sonido. Ubicado en la 3ª fila desde el océano y directamente sobre el sonido. Está a un corto paseo de las inmaculadas playas de arena de Emerald Isle o se sube a su bote desde el conveniente muelle compartido y encuentra su propia isla. Nice views and plenty of room for 7 of us!

Owners were very accommodating if we needed to ask questions. House is in a perfect location for kayaking and walking to the beach. The house had everything we needed for our week stay.

Amazing!

This property is as advertised and MORE. The previous reviews were all true: the location is amazing, the house is spotless, it is fully equipped, the hosts are amazing (even called to check in on us from their own vacation overseas). This is absolutely a 10 out of 10. Enough beach equipment for everyone and it is in excellent condition. Crab pot was great. Plenty of parking. The elevator was super helpful. We have been renting VRBOs for years and this was the best in every category that we have stayed in thus far, and we are pretty particular. Thank you Bruce and Margie!!

Perfect House for a Family Vacation for 4th of July!

Sounds Terrific was an excellent house that exceeded all expectations. With amazing views from every vantage point, we enjoyed both the sound and the ocean. The beach is a short walk to a beautiful beach. Lots of beach gear, including the amazing Shibumi (totally awesome!). Plenty of beach chairs for all 10 of us! The kitchen was well stocked…although know there’s a coffee brew machine, but no Keurig. An extra fridge would have been helpful given the size of the house and our group size. Aside from that, there’s really nothing more we needed. Outdoor shower was great…and having an elevator was truly the icing! We will definitely be back!

Amazing Property on Emerald Isle

This is the second time our family has stayed at this house. It is an absolutely stunning house with sound access and a short walk to the beach. The house has everything needed while on vacation and the hosts are super helpful and responsive.

Great family beach trip!

Margie and Bruce are the best!! They were so gracious, accessible and called to check on us during our stay. Everything in the home was so beautiful and comfortable. We adored looking at the sunrise and sunsets from the deck as well as the dock and the ramp was perfect for our golden retriever. The kitchen was so well stocked making the trip stress free. My 89 year old mother was thankful for the lift! The beach is only a short walk away and the neighbors were wonderful. You have the most amazing views from every window! I sat on the screen porch watching the sun and can’t wait to return again. Truly fabulous stay!

A Green Jewel

This house, which sits on the sound front, has great views of the sound, and some nice ocean views. The open floor plan on the third floor was spacious and accommodating, with decks and porches. Everything I read positive in past post were true to our experience. We had two little ones with us, and it was easy to get them to the ocean in a wagon. It is unanimous. All members of our party said, “Let’s come back to Emerald Isle and stay in the same house. It is perfect for us.” We plan to.

Great stay!

We had a great trip! The house is very nice and well-stocked. Decks on every level, and great views of the sound and the ocean. The master bedroom/bath are huge! We were able to put a pack-n-play and a twin air mattress in this bedroom. 2nd-floor bedrooms are a good size for 2 people. Very limited/no room to add a pack-n-play in any of these rooms. The elevator is a nice added feature. The sound is VERY shallow - in some areas no more than 6-12 inches of water during low tide! We have a skiff and struggled to navigate the waterway, except for a brief period during high tide. We ended up leaving the boat docked for the majority of our stay. Parking for 4 vehicles under the house and 1 large truck/trailer to the right of the driveway. Easy walk to the beach - approx 5 mins. No public parking at the closest beach access. Beach wagon, several backpack beach chairs, etc. available for use. Overall it was a great trip!

Wonderful place to stay

Beautiful home, well stocked, well maintained and well located. We watched dolphins in the Sound nearly every morning. Easy walk to the beach. Thanks for a fabulous week!

Great stay

We had a great time staying here. First time on the sound-side, and we couldn't have been happier with the house: impressive views over the sound, short walk to the beach, decks on every level, very accessible owner. We had a canine family member with us who enjoyed her stay as well. The lift was very helpful for those less mobile.

Amazing Home

I can’t say enough good about this property. It is even better in person then the listed pictures! We had family ranging from ages 18-80 and everyone had an amazing time. The host were very hospitable and checked in on us to be sure we had everything we needed. Very clean property and has all the essentials of a well managed home. We will definitely be back!! Thanks again to the hosts for sharing your beautiful home!!

Excellent home with great views

The home was perfect for our family vacation. The views of the sound were amazing, beach access was just a short walk, and the house had all we needed. Bruce even checked in on us to make sure our stay was going well. Would highly recommend the home to others!

Family Vacation

Bruce and Margie's home is fabulous! You have 360° views of the ocean or sound. Perfect for a family vacation. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, and kayaking in the sound, and the shared dock made this so easy. You really only need to bring your clothes and food, as they have everything you will need for a perfect day at the beach (chairs, umbrellas, floats, wagon, sand toys, bikes, etc). Bruce reached out, periodically, to make sure our trip and stay was going well. You will not be disappointed with this home!

Well equipped, perfect location for quiet family beach vacation

The pictures are an accurate representation of this lovely property. The homeowners were very interested in our comfort and were extremely helpful prior to check in with ideas for the area as we were first time visited to Emersld aisle, as well as after check in when we had a small issue with the air conditioning that they dealt with right away. The kitchen is nicely equipped and there was everything we could’ve needed and more in the house. The views of the sound are absolutely beautiful and the walk to the beach is five minutes or less. The dock is shared with neighbors next door, whom we got to know and are lovely people as well.

Awesome views

Views of sunrise and sunset. 5 bedrooms, everyone had their own room...4 on floor 2 and master on 3rd floor along with the den and kitchen. 3 and a half baths was nice too...2 on 2nd floor and 1 and a half on 3rd floor. There is no parking at the beach, other than for bikes. If you have an older guest you will have to drop them off and bring the car back to the house. Overall 5 stars.

Incredible sound and ocean views. Offers the best of both worlds. You can go on the sound with your boat off our dock which is shared by two houses, jet ski or kayak or go to lay out on the beach which is just a short walk away.

You can park your boat or jet skis at the house and are only minutes from the public boat ramp. Also, we have Weber kettle grill for renters' use and two bicycles and a beach wagon so you can wheel your things to the beach. Recently added amenities: Patio with Gliders with incredible sound views and Liftavator Elevator.
