Fantastic Location in Venice

We stayed in this great apartment - 2 adults and 2 teens. Location was perfect, overlooking small canals, central to everything. Apartment is charming, if slightly dates. Two bathrooms are nice. Overall, it was great.

Nice apartment in central position

We stayed with 4 people during a week in the nice Ca´Nal apartment. The apartment is located in central position in Venice which comes with its pros (close to the main sites) and cons (crowd during the day). Satisfied of our stay overall.

Perfect apartment. Amazing location, truly Venetian

You cannot ask for a better location. Truly right in St Mark's square. To look out onto the canals was pure magic each morning and hearing the church bells chime, Alberta was so amazing and prompt and suggested a remarkable restaurant for us that we thoroughly enjoyed. She helped navigate the streets and we found each other. Now, when we return we will know exactly where to go. We will happily stay again.

Great place

The apartment was everything we expected. Alberta met us and gave a quick tour of property. Place would be difficult to find with out her showing us the way. We were looking for a place in this location knowing the busy area but wanted to be central for a short visit. The photo's are a bit confusing as they are a representative of all units, not just the one listed. Example, I thought we would have access to roof top sitting area but only available from one unit. Highly recommended.

Like our own little Venetian palace

Absolutely immaculate property, with brand new kitchen and baths. Wonderful character in the entire space from the Venetian glass chandeliers to the interior doors and windows to the beautiful terrazzo floors. Comfortable beds and quality linens. Very spacious for 4 adults. Fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare a formal dinner during our stay. We were greeted warmly at the vaporetto, and made to feel most welcome. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy this wonderful place.

Bragozzo Ca'Nal Apartment

I stayed here with my husband and 2 young adult daughters for 3 nights in June. This is a well-located apartment very close to St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. Anytime we got a little lost on our way back to the apartment, we would just follow the large signs printed on many buildings back to "Per San Marco." As other reviewers have noted, the apartment is noisy due to it's central location, so we kept the windows closed at night and waited for things to quiet down around 12 midnight before falling asleep. I would recommend bringing a noise-maker if you think you may have trouble sleeping with the sound of voices and street chatter. The apartment is very clean and in a beautiful old building with a pretty view of a smaller canal from the bedrooms with lots of gondola activity, etc. Just to let others who are searching for accommodations in Venice know, I think it's important to share: In addition to the 3 flights of stairs up to the apartment (rough at the end of a long day), there are also a few steps between each of the bedrooms and bathrooms and the main living areas. I gave Bragozzo 4 stars instead of 5 for a few reasons: The towels are very low quality similar to rough old bar towels; each of the bathrooms only had a tiny, about a 1 inch, bar of soap. There was no hand soap anywhere including the kitchen. We purchased and left hand soap, laundry detergent, and paper towels in the unit - which I thought should have been provided. Plus, there was barely enough toilet paper for our stay; There are no shelves in either of the tiny showers, so all your toiletries used in the shower are on the floor including the soap. Lastly, the beds were firm, which is fine, but the pillows were very hard, large, and tough to sleep on, and need to be swapped for a nice hotel-quality pillow. The cons I list above are simple, inexpensive upgrades that could be easily remedied by management. These little touches could make Bragozzo feel more comfortable and luxurious, and elevate it to a 5 star rating. Despite these issues, I would stay here again due to the excellent central location, as well as the fact that this apartment is very clean and well-maintained. At the end of our stay, although expensive (105 euros), we opted to get to the airport via a water taxi pre-arranged at our request by the manager, Alberta. This was so convenient! It's only about a one minute walk to the San Zulian dock. Pick up was prompt and we were helped with our bags.

Fantastic!

Our entire experience exceeded expectations! Alberta was so responsive to all my inquiries, met us at the vaporetto stop on arrival, and walked with us to the Bragozzo apartment, showing us places to go along the way, even helping us with our luggage. The apartment is beautiful, just as pictured; the antique doors, terrazzo flooring, and glass chandeliers give a luxurious and lovely Venetian feel. The Bragozzo was so comfortable and amazingly convenient, just minutes to Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge, with windows overlooking a bridge and canal with gondolas. Simply lovely!

Apartment is in an old building in a very good location between Rialto Bridge and San Marco. We had difficulty finding it, but it was our navigator's problem. Large MBR, living and dining room. Very adequate for our 3 day stay.

A beautiful apartment

This is a beautiful apartment with all mod cons in a stunning location just a stone's throw from St Mark's Square in one direction and the Rialto Bridge in the other. There are lots of very good restaurants a few minutes walk away and so much to see and do, all within walking distance. We used the guide who was recommended in the information booklet and were given a superb tour of two districts in the city.

Perfect Location and Very Comfortable

Our apartment was in a perfect location, clean and modern. The rooms were large and comfortable. It being Venice, I know elevators are not always possible in a building and not having one was the only drawback. However, it was good exercise walking up the stairs. This is a perfect apartment for two couple or several friends.

Beautiful rennovated and spacious place in preferred location.

Our family of 5 (3 young children) wouldn't look elsewhere for accommodation on next visit to Venice as we were completely satisfied here. With the large rooms and mosaic marble floors we felt like we were royalty. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, plates, etc. Large fridge was nice for stocking with things from the nearby grocery. Alberta was very responsive and helpful start to finish.

Top-Lage in venezianischem Stil

sehr schöne Wohnung inmitten Venedigs. Alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert und wir haben uns sehr darüber gefreut, bei Ankunft direkt am Boot abgeholt worden zu sein. Sehr gute Ausstattung, alles sehr sauber. Wer es ruhig mag, der sollte sich eine andere Bleibe suchen, da aufgrund der zentralen Lage immer etwas los ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Beautiful Views and Perfect Location

Our stay at Ca' Nal Apartments was perfect especially for 2 couples in our 60s traveling through Italy. The apartment was exactly as described so there were no surprises. We had everything we needed in the apartment except for a few groceries but the store (the Coop) was close by. Alberta was so gracious and answered all our questions before we came and also and met us at the boat and took us to the apartment which was a good thing as when you first visit Venice the little "streets" can be confusing. The location was perfect being very close to San Marco. The view from the apartment was beautiful with the canal out one side and the streets out the other. We had great restaurants all around us so we didn't have to hunt for anywhere to eat. Alberta also gave us some great tips on where to eat. I would highly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a perfect place to stay while in Venice.

Fantastic Location!

We were very happy with the Bragozzo apartment at Ca'Nal. The location is right between San Marco square and the Rialto bridge. Even though it was a straight shot in either direction it took us a day or 2 to figure that out, getting lost several times, but that is half the fun in Venice anyways! The apartment is as advertised, and was very comfortable. Beds were firm but comfortable, the livingroom furniture was also comfortable, but we really didn't use it and the table was perfect for us. We didn't cook at all or do any laundry, but it seemed to be well stocked. It is right on a small canal on both bedroom sides and the larger bedroom, dining room and livingroom are on a shopping street so at night it can be bit noisy if you leave the windows open. Once closed, we didn't have any issues with the noise ( voices late at night). There were 4 of us so the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were very convenient. The 3 levels of stairs were tiring after a long day of walking so anyone with an issue with stairs need to take that into consideration. Lucia met us at the closest water taxi stop (the very best way to come into the city!) and helped us with our heavy and over packed suitcases and checked us in answering questions we had and helped us to confirm our water taxi return pick up. We can definitely highly recommend this apartment for those who can manage the stairs and want to be close to San Marco. We were there celebrating our husbands 60th birthdays. We would definitely return if we are in Venice again!

Perfecto! Great Apartment, Brilliant Location

What a fabulous apartment to have found for our stay in Venicia. Very centrally located and an easy walk to anywhere, centrally located for exploring in any direction. Alberta was fantastic, a prompt communicator right from the start. She was there when we arrived, on hand to help us navigate our way through the labyrinth the streets seemed to us, the first time visitors! Alberta answered all our many questions, recommended restaurants and organised our departing water taxi, helping us with our luggage on the last day. The apartment was great, just as described. The bedrooms were very spacious, and the bathrooms were beautifully appointed. Loved looking out of balcony's at the canal just outside. Thank you Alberta, was just great. Would highly recommend this apartment, and look forward to our next visit.

Brilliant location, brilliant host.

Alberta is the best! She recommended and booked restaurants, met us at the grand canal, and provided all sorts of advice and support. We had 10 people to accommodate so we rented both Ca'Nal Bragozzo and Ca'Nal Gondola. We loved them both. Beautiful bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, practical kitchens. Brilliant location!
