Clásica cabaña de playa actualizada rodeada de robles vivos. Esta casa de 4 dormitorios y 2 baños se encuentra a poca distancia de las hermosas playas de Southern Shores en Outer Banks. Tendrá una cocina bien equipada con una estufa de gas para cocinar y todos los electrodomésticos modernos de acero inoxidable y un sofá grande y cómodo en la gran sala con un televisor de pantalla plana, reproductor de DVD, cable y juegos de mesa. Ventanas Andersen y puertas corredizas de vidrio en todas partes. Hay 2 dormitorios arriba, cada uno con una cama queen y terraza privada, que comparten un baño. El piso principal tiene una habitación queen y una habitación con dos camas individuales. Todas las sábanas y toallas son provistas. También hay una sala de lavandería en la planta baja con una nevera / congelador adicional y varias sillas de playa y accesorios. Enjuague en la ducha al aire libre después de un día en la playa. We loved the house. The fenced in pet area was great. Much appreciated that we could bring three dogs. The kitchen was well equiped. We had no problems at all. Our stay was wonderful!

This was our second time staying here. We always enjoy our time. The house is well stocked and comfortable furnishings. The dogs love the fenced yard. The neighborhood is quiet and great for walks. Very easy to walk or drive to the beach. We appreciated the house providing beach towels and chairs.

The house was perfect for our family of 6. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We used the trail on clam shell for beach access. We found it was closer and less busy than the Chicahauk access. We would stay here again

My wife, son and I along with our dogs enjoyed this place for 12 days. The host was excellent with communication and was very accommodating of our time constraints for check in and check out with my 1.5 year old’s sleep schedule. The layout of the inside is awesome if you had a larger family or group staying where people could spread out to various rooms, with the central living room and kitchen that was beyond well equipped. A major determining factor for staying here was all of the beach items such as chairs, a wagon, kayaks etc which are shown in the listing. While we were too preoccupied with our little one to kayak, we very much appreciated the conveniences in this house. The beach was a short 5 minute walk and the neighborhood area was lovely and worth walking through as many days as we could get to it. We look forward to staying here again!

This was our first visit to the OBX. Drew and Sara are phenomenal hosts. Their communication and problem solving methods are A. The weather was phenomenal. We anticipated sweltering heat being the last week of August. It was in the upper 70s/low 80s during the day with a cool breeze and very lottle humidity. At night it was in the 50s at night. We arrived just after Hurricane Erin which turned out to beneficial with the weather but we were unable to swim in the ocean for a few days due to the strong rip tides from the hurricane. We really enjoyed the town of Duck. We will definitely visit again.

Great little beach cottage!

We stayed here while our home was undergoing some repairs and absolutely loved this place! It was perfect for our older dog, who explored the huge fenced in backyard and got to romp daily on the great beaches! We loved being able to easily walk to the beach and the walking paths and trails throughout Chickhauk were ideal! The hosts were so accommodating to our needs and super responsive. I would recommend this property to anyone who loves a cozy beach cottage experience.

Perfect location for family vacation.

This was the perfect destination for our family get together. The fenced in dog yard made bringing the pets with us worry free. The house was very cozy and welcoming with plenty of room for everyone. Beach equipment available was added bonus. Well stocked kitchen made meal prep a breeze. Wish I knew about all of the beach towels and beach toys as I probably would not have brought so much myself. Quiet neighborhood and short walk to ocean was great. Would have used bikes but one tire was flat, no big deal though. Would definitely recommend. A lot to do in the area.

Perfect Location

This is our second summer at this property in Southern Shores and we plan to stay again next year. The bed rooms have plenty of space and the kitchen is well stocked. We didn’t bring our dogs this year but the property is perfect if you want to bring them. Our favorite aspect is the location. It’s a short walk to the beach and a short drive to grocery stores. It’s between Duck and Kitty Hawk so it’s a short drive to both. The stairs leading to the upper bedrooms are a little steep, and you have to take laundry outside and down the stairs, but those aren’t issues for us. We enjoy this property and will definitely stay again.

Cottage at the Beach

Lovely stay for a week. Comfortable cottage with a very nice backyard for our two dogs. Well stocked kitchen. Large deck for relaxing.

Puppers Beach Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this dog-friendly beach house! It was such a treat to find a place that welcomed our pups and had so many thoughtful amenities—kitchen, beach gear, games, books, washer/dryer and even a dog bowls. The location was perfect, and we spent hours enjoying the outdoor space and nearby beach, plenty of wonderful food options nearby, we LOVED Barefoot Bernie’s and Southern Shores Pizza and Deli. The only downside was the beds—they were a bit uncomfortable and could use an upgrade. But overall, the experience was fantastic, and we’d absolutely come back (especially if the beds get a refresh!).Highly recommend for anyone traveling with pets and looking for a relaxing getaway! We can’t wait to come back and visit again

OBX Vacation

Great location. Easy walk to the beach and short drive to grocery stores. Very pet friendly with fenced yard connected to front door and deck. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of room to relax. Bedrooms were good size.

We lived in Kitty Hawk for three years, but our favorite place to come back to vacation was the Southern Shores/Chicahauk area. We thought this house would be the perfect place to share with our family, friends, and guests.
