Ubicado a aproximadamente 5 millas de la granja Blenheim Hill y a 10 millas de la granja 7 Ponds. Nuestra casa fue construida en 1857, con 5 habitaciones y 2 baños, ubicada en Jefferson NY. La casa se encuentra justo al lado de la ciudad verde y está a poca distancia a la Heartbreak, un bar de la ciudad y restaurante y el lugar de desayuno. Se asienta en casi dos acres y la cubierta trasera da a un arroyo y al monte Jefferson.

Jefferson es una pequeña ciudad y está muy cerca de muchas ciudades vecinas y atracciones. Estamos a unos 10 minutos de Stamford, 20-25 minutos de Oneonta y Cobleskill. Cooperstown está a unos 40 minutos en coche y las montañas Windham y Hunter están a unos 45 - 50 minutos en coche.
Kymar granja y destilería es de 7 kilómetros de distancia,
Simpler Times Farm está cerca, y Buck Hill Farm menos de una milla de distancia también.

Great wedding staycation

Perfect home for our family to stay for a wedding and other activities at Seven Ponds Farm. Meticulous, charming, well stocked with updated appliances. The best part was the luxurious beds. Also enjoyed driving the back roads to savor the peak time to enjoy the fall foliage. Definitely recommend it.

The home was great for us to visit and catch up and get ready for the wedding. I was given the incorrect code from website and cell phone service was sketchy. The TV in the living room was not working, and many remotes with no instructions. Those would be helpful. Finally got correct code and then all was well.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home, pictures don’t do it justice. Stayed for 2 nights for a wedding at a local venue. Very clean well stocked coffee/cream eggs spices and other staples. A couple of downfalls, not much hot water gets cold after 1 shower, with 8 people staying and can hold up to 11 it’s a problem, imagine getting ready for a wedding. We had to take cold showers. And upstairs is hot, 1 air conditioner in 1 upstairs bedroom and windows can’t be opened. Other than those 2 items it was a perfect stay. I wouldn’t mind no air conditioning if windows could be opened and if there were fans available.

Charming colonial house but bedroom count mislisted

For the most part the property was quite charming and the common spaces were much more spacious than what I was expected from the photos. The decor was rustic and farmhouse-y. The back deck had string lights and overlooked a pretty view. We were looking forward to using the fire pit, but it was quite overgrown and seemed unsafe to use. The downstairs bedrooms were quite nice. The main bedroom was bright and airy with beautiful beams, skylights, and view of the property. The upstairs bedrooms were quite pitiful however. Low ceilings, small windows, and dated carpets and bedspreads. There was one fewer room than was listed on the property and 1-2 fewer beds. The door to the "bedroom" with the bunkbeds could not close because it would hit the bedframe and was nested inside another bedroom. As we were traveling with 9 adult friends, the bed count created a BIG issue and we had to purchase air mattresses to accommodate the number of people. I had contacted the host upon arrival and she had informed me that had never been an issue - I'm confused though because #of bedrooms and bed count does not match the listing. All in all we had a good time and made due with the bed situation, it was unfortunate because otherwise it would have been a great stay!

Raves for Jefferson House

My extended family and I were there to attend my son's wedding at a nearby venue. There were eight adults and we were all very comfortable! The living areas were all very inviting and we spent a lot of time out on the deck, enjoying the quietude and the bullfrog chorus in the pond behind the house. Food shopping is not exactly convenient but we managed! I think I'm safe in saying that we all would all recommend this house highly!

Perfect house for long weekend

We had a family wedding at Seven ponds Farm, which was less than 20 min drive. Comfortable house, well stocked, and responsive hosts! Definitely recommend.

Beautiful, comfortable home. Well-stocked with everything you need. Beds are very cozy and comfy. The record collection is a lot of fun. The place has a terrific vibe.

A Perfect Getaway

My family and sister's family recently spent a week at The Jefferson House, visiting my parents post COVID. What a lovely choice for a family reunion! It had everything we needed and more. Great location as well for travel in the central Catskills. Thanks to our hosts! Highly recommended.

Perfect Getaway Weekend Home

We had the pleasure of staying at the Jefferson House for a wedding at the Blenheim Hill Farm. We were a party of 11 and had ample space for all. We were 3 families with our adult children and enjoyed being able to have space and together time. The home is beautiful, updated and offered everything you need. Eric and Glenna have thought of everything and are very responsive. I would like to acknowledge A and D Transport Services for anyone needing car service. They were very accommodating for our large party and well priced. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Comfortable family place

We were in town for a wedding at Blenheim Farm and this was a great place to stay. Our three generations of family stayed together here and the location was perfect. It was so good to prepare and eat breakfast for two mornings! The beds were all quite comfortable and the decor was very welcoming, and different from your usual neutral style. Thank you!

i am in love with this home.

the house is very clean and comfortable. the decor is amazing. the amenities are all up to date and amazing. we were in the house only for a weekend wedding, so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we wanted to. we are planning a ski weekend this year and this house will be first on our list. thank you

A wonderful house in the Catskills

I rented The Jefferson House for two families of four, so that we could attend a wedding at nearby Blenheim Hill Farm. Everybody was very happy with my choice. The Jefferson House, which has been beautifully-restored, has all the amenities of home, including a well-equipped kitchen, WiFi and TV. But the best thing about the house is the deck at the back, which faces the mountains. (We had a lovely night on the deck after our niece’s wedding.)

Fantastic Place!

As a group of 9 friends, we were in town for a wedding and this house was perfect for our party! It was very clean, the porch/fire pit are great in the summer, and the owners are friendly and responsive.

Perfect!!

July 11-16, 2018: This house is exceptional! It is cozy and warm and beautifully decorated! My family stayed here during the week of my daughter's wedding and it was absolutely perfect! It's much larger than it looks on the outside. There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room. The deck is huge and peaceful. The dining table was the perfect size for all the bridesmaids to gather. It's such a pretty property that we had all the wedding pictures taken here as well, inside and outside. You don't need to bring anything except your suitcase...everything you need is there. The owners are terrific - responded quickly to all of my questions. I would stay there again, no question!! thank you for sharing your home! Carol N.

Perfect!

We recently spent a weekend at the Jefferson House for a wedding at a nearby farm. It was one of the nicest and most charming places we’ve stayed in and was very convenient for our needs. It was very comfortable and much more cost effective for our family of six than the surrounding B&Bs/inns and only a short walk across the village green to the Heartbreak Hotel and The Breakfast Club restaurants (great food and atmosphere at both)!
