This is a delightful little mews house, providing a bright refreshing romantic escape to the City
This wonderful converted mews house is behind The Mount in York, and accessed from Holgate Road. Close to the city centre and train station, but located in a quiet mews, this little house offers the best of both worlds - great access to the city centre and peace and quiet.
The property has been thoughtfully converted to provide a lovely combination of living space over two floors, with a secluded terrace at the back with seating to enjoy finer weather.

The mews house has a private entrance leading through to a beautiful small garden and then into the main house. The Dining kitchen is on the ground floor then upstairs to a spacious, comfortable living room with the bedroom and bathroom also on the first floor. The bathroom has a great shower over a bath, and the bedroom has a double bed - what more do you need for a quiet break in York?
There is parking for one car in front of the house but the house is also a very short walk from York train station.
Close to the city centre - only a few minutes walk from Micklegate Bar. Close by there is a small Sainsburys, and an Everyman Cinema, as well as a selection of quieter pubs and restaurants, before you head into the centre. This is well located to access the York Racecourse if there is availability during the race season.
