A great stay once again

My only suggestions would be to have the checking out instructions in the unit and the emailed closing instructions be consistent with one another. There was a discrepancy (I believe with towels/laundry expectations. Along these same lines, if the expectation is to run laundry and dishes when checking out, I feel it is reasonable to supply more than one detergent for both. Yes, this is a small thing, but it’s something that should be provided (perhaps one laundry and dishwasher table/packet per day stay would be a good rule of thumb. This way it doesn’t cause the out of town guest to go and purchase way too many of these items for their 4 day stay. It’s a convenience thing that is also tied to an expectation by the property management. Thank you!

But now with the high visitation and parking fees we are seriously considering going somewhere else. Two of our other families who travel with us chose to stay on the bay side and the other one at Gulf shores and never come to visit us due to the fees. We are seriously considering renting somewhere else in 2026.

We enjoyed the easy access by way of boardwalks to the beach. Other residents/visitors were friendly. We enjoyed a hike at Bon Secour, the fort at Fort Morgan, the Naval Aviation Museum at Pensacola, the Gulf Shores Zoo, and many restaurants in all the nearby towns.

The lack of dense, crowded beaches and miles and miles of protected beach are unique assets among any U.S. coastlines. The unit at Martinique was superb, with the only difficulty being the electronics (AV/audio equipment). We'd recommend this unit and the entire complex to anyone interested in a terrific beach getaway and experience.

We wanted to get in a beach trip just before the 2024 spring break masses arrived and this was a great choice. The Martinique property is beautiful and this condo could not have been better. If you are looking for packed beaches, jet skis, boom boxes, late night parties etc., this is not your place. If you are looking for a first-rate property to enjoy beachfront living without the usual downsides, this is a good bet.

Reviewer Comments: We have never been to this area before so I was a little nervous when I turned down the main hwy to the property but it ended up being the best weekend. The beach was beautiful and not crowded which I expected with it being spring break in some areas. The condo was very clean and it had really pretty decor. We took advantage of the Dollar General less than a mile away and got food at a resort nearby. We will definitely be back in the future.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Martinique for two weeks, having stayed there numerous times in the past. Although we were not able to get the unit we had previously rented, this second-floor unit was adequate. The first week was great but the second week disappointed as we could not use our balcony due to the machine noise, odor and water just outside the railing, caused by workmen doing a project on the roof. When we contacted the office, we were told that fall is the time when they do such projects. I think we should have been made aware of this before we rented the unit or, knowing this, Martinique should not have allowed this unit to be rented.

Balcony view was ok, slightly limited by tree and building. Only issue was frequent loud stomping in unit above. Awakened every morning at 6:30am by stomping back and forth. Other than that a very nice place to stay. Would only rent third floor next time.

However, since Aranov is no longer managing, I’ve noticed things like overgrown shrubbery invading into the walkways and boardwalks. Also, seems like a lot of turnover in the office. I’ve been coming to M one or more times each year for a very long time. Had grown accustomed to being “welcomed back.” Now, it feels mire like I’m a number. I would encourage a return to better grounds keeping and teaching the office staff how to recognize frequents guests.
