Great little house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: The house was fairly clean, beds comfortable, rooms are a nice size, a great backyard and not far from the beach. Cons: moldy shower curtain in the master bath, lots of moldy grout in the shower. While the kitchen is well stocked, you need to bring your own pots and pans. 100% of the pots and pans in the kitchen are of the old non- stick variety and the non-stick material is damaged and flaking off. We would rent here again but would definitely bring our own cookware (and maybe a new shower curtain). Had an issue with a slow sink drain and Jekyll Realty resolved it within 20 minutes of us reporting it.

Had 1 problem with check in as I got the wrong address but the house was just across the street (1 number off on street address). Other than that, it was pretty good. The sanitary piping could have been better, maybe a good snaking more often. I know in beach areas, sand is a big problem in the drains. But again, this is just minor nit picking. Also it would have been nice to have some pantry items or even some seasonings besides just a cheap salt/pepper shaker. Supposedly you will get fined if you leave items in the house, but non perishable items should be fine (seasonings, flour, aluminum foil, etc). Again just nit picking, but a few of these extras would have made the house a 11 out of 10. Would definitely rent again, and have always had a great experience with jekyll realty.

Home away from home

Just as described. Clean, quiet, a couple blocks from the ocean. Well-stocked. Washer and dryer were great, BUT the "laundry room" really needs some paint and a good cleaning. King & queen mattresses were uncomfortable.

It had a large kitchen area with a nice back patio area. It is a good place to stay with high tide. Any further north and you would not always be able to access the beach. We also enjoyed sitting on the front stoop area during the morning sun.

I was not aware that the laundry room was located in a separate room outside, but we did not have to use the washer and dryer this time. The beds were not very comfortable, and it could be cleaner as we found some fake eyelashes from previous guests, but overall it was a nice stay.

Beautiful island/bad hair week

The House was spacious and beds are comfortable. I would consider staying here again but must say the very few cons on the house are pretty major. The sleeper sofa is absolutely ready for the dump! We never used it as a bed but it was extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Also the breaker flipped everytime we tried to use a hairdryer in either bathroom. We used extension cords in the bedrooms for our hairdryers. The washer/dryer is in an outside room but both work really well. The kitchen is very well stocked and spacious but very little cabinet space left available for groceries. Location was very convenient to the beach and villages. All in all it was another incredible vacation!!
