This property is also near wineries, many fresh springs, kayaking, tubing, blueberry farms, and the Nature State Coast Trail. Take tick precautions.

Tenants hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Getaway Acres, LLC, or the Tate Family and/or their agents and employees from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by tenants or to any property belonging to tenants while participating in the activities or while on or upon the rented premises. The Tate family means Mark Tate Jr., Jeanne Tate, David Tate, Julie Tate, Anthony Corbin, and any other relative (by blood or marriage) of the aforementioned individuals and their successors. Beautiful place

The property is beautiful inside and outside. We enjoyed our stay. We petted the goats, played on the Zipline, grilled out some burgers...lots of things to do. The beds and furniture was comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay for family Thanksgiving was fabulous. Having comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, perfect climate control and plenty of room in the house added much to our enjoyment. We did not use the outside area except to visit goats and pig. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to family and friends.

Beautiful property for large families

Outstanding property for our family. Well maintained and had plenty for the grandchildren to keep them busy. The house itself is rustic but very comfortable and had most of the things we needed. Close to the springs. Got to get used to the hard water but it’s not a huge deal. Great communications with property managers. Would definitely return

Mission Trip Getaway

We needed a place where we as a group could relax, enjoy each other’s company and have 3 meals prepared. This was the perfect place for us. Big porches to sit and relax after a long day of working. Place was well kept. Plenty of sleeping space and big bathrooms. We had a few people that liked to hike so they took advantage of the big yard and acreage. We had one small problem that was no fault of the host and it got fixed right away on a holiday weekend. If we do another trip to Old Town we will definitely book this place again.

The property is gorgeous, complete with goats and pig! The rooms were wonderful. The check-in directions weren’t as clear as they could have been, but Vrbo contacted the owner, and we resolved the issue. There were a couple of minor things that required attention, but again, the owner was very responsive. I would highly recommend this property for families seeking a quiet, picturesque place to stay.

We love the setting!

We love the Spanish moss hanging from the big oaks with the pond backdrop. The water birds provided quite the show while they fished. And the front porch was a perfect perch to take it all in. The farm animals added that rural touch. All in all experience was delightful with a cozy country home - the perfect setting.

Farm getaway

We had a great time getting away from it all on the farm. The property is beautiful and it has 2 ponds perfect for fishing with the kids. We also visited Manatee Springs, which is about 40 minutes away, but worth the drive.
