Cute cottage , 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom,can sleep 8 , one king bed , one queen , one full size , the other sleeping areas are pull out sofas . less then 1 mile from Fanning Springs State park , minutes from Ottter Springs and Hart springs , approximately 30 minutes to Ginnie springs , Blue and Rum island. Kayaking, paddle boarding and close to boat ramps to the Suwannee River. Property is secluded but near major highway , located on 1 acre , lots of shade , lots of privacy , no contact check in , 40 minutes to Gainesville, 20 minutes to Horshoe beach , close to Manatee Springs

Virginia was a great host! Very responsive. The home is in a quiet area and is clean and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out both inside and out. Per my grandsons (11 & 14), the selection of games to keep them busy was “Amazingly Diverse” with things for both kids and adults. I loved the Calamondin tree outside. It’s tart, juicy fruits took me back to childhood at my grandparents home. I will definitely check for availability when I go back to visit family! Thank you, Virginia, for a wonderful stay!

The property was very nice and peaceful. The porch was awesome. The place was very peaceful. The house was clean and decorated very nice. The owner was very nice and friendly and very helpfull.

Nice property, well set up, comfortable. Would look into replacing or removing washer and drier. Dryer had note saying timer broken, owner doesn't use washer and drier, states linens are laundered off site.

YeS You Are correct we NEVER ask GUESTS to do laundry, The cleaners do laundry . Guests are welcome to use washer and dryer, we supple LaundRy soap!

Clean home with a great host

The house was just as described. It fit our family great! The host was amazing, we didn’t experience anything negative, but she was very good at communicating. We will book again if we come back to the area.

Super relaxing

Went with my daughter, son in law and two toddler granddaughters as well as my dog. It was super relaxing! Kids got to run around and be kids and dog got to run around and be a dog!! We loved that the springs were just around the corner!

Wonderful

This place has just about everything you need in the kitchen. It even had a crock pot so i made the kids a tater tot casserole for breakfast Saturday morning!! Very clean.

Awesome place to stay

We arrived on June 26 2023 and and left on 29th. We walk through the front door and found it was clean and awesome cool. Everything was so neatly arranged. There was also complementary coffee ,drinks and snacks. It is completely furnished with towels, linen anything that you need for a house it was there. We recommend this place 100%.

Needs cleaning and update

Overpriced doublewide with uneven floors, an accordian bathroom door that is broken, run down washer and dryer, screened in front porch with no screen on porch door which let in in multiple wasps inside.

Glamping with family and friends.

We had an amazing time in Fanning Springs. We were able to take early morning walks with the kids and dog then finish the evening with late night s'mores. Virginia was quick to respond to questions and added special touches like snacks for our dog and dinner recommendations. The house is small but utilizes the space well with 4 bedrooms and one bathroom. We used the screened in front porch for morning breakfast and coffee and the fire pit at night. We had amazing time exploring state parks and enjoying many hours of outdoor time.

If you would have contacted us and let us know , the washer would have been replaced, I went to property and didn’t have any issues , the washer doesn’t have a agitator, the middle is supposed to be clear of laundry and put around sides , for the future to avoid issues I put in a washer with a agitator. Thanks again

Disappointed,

We ended up leaving and never stayed. The bright, white cleam phoyos were very, very, deceptive. Dirty sink, dishes and rugs. Had to go through bathroom to get to main area from back bedroom. Recommend spray hose, rake yard, amd clean furniyure in and out to be able to sit down

Unfortunately it’s Florida , the property is in a rural area, from January thruzgh April , every time the wind blows it rains leaves . Can’t control that . If you had noticed me , I would have sent the cleaning crew back over . I did not hear from you the entire stay .

Absolutely Wonderful

We came with family to spend Easter with our grandmother before she flew back to Illinois this past weekend. There were 7 of us in total. The cottage was cozy, perfectly placed, and had everything we needed to have all of our weekend activities. It's right around the corner from many of the springs, so that was awesome, too! It is a lovely piece of property with plenty of privacy, yet, close enough to town to run to Wal-Mart or Dollar General should you need anything ! The cottage had plenty of room for us all to sleep comfortably and the owner was extremely accommodating and thoughtful, including a bottle of our favorite wine upon arrival and plenty of blankets for my grandmother. The yard was wonderful for our dog to enjoy, and the porches were perfectly set for activities and games together as a family. The fire pit was set up for us with plenty of lawn chairs and a swinging lounge chair to enjoy. The fire wood provided was such a kind amenity, as well as the charcoal for the grill! All in all, this place has everything needed to make beautiful family memories, relax, have fun, and unwind. The owner is extremely attentive and replies quickly to any questions or concerns, which was extremely helpful to our planning prior to arrival. We would be happy to stay again on our next adventure!

Home away from home!

Each time we stay here we don't want to go home. So Peaceful, relaxing, clean, stocked with pretty much everything you'll need. Staying there has made us want to buy the place... but it's not for sale. Just our wishful thinking 😊 Virginia is the absolute sweetest and accommodating person we have ever dealt with for a vacation rental. We already have our next trip to this lovely place booked!! It was a great place to stay when we came up to watch the game! It has everything you need in case you might’ve forgotten anything, there are perfect little restaurants close by and even more a few miles down the road. It was perfect distance to Gators stadium.

Great family stay in Florida!

My husband and three kids (ages 7-12) stayed here with our dog while visiting family. It was a great experience; the cottage is cute and comfortable, with some separate seating areas and thoughtful touches like a bottle of wine and treats for the pup. There are some games for the kids, both board games and outside games. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with, and she was very responsive to messages. We highly recommend this rental and would definitely stay here again!
