Casa de playa privada. 3 habitaciones, 2 baños completos, increíbles vistas a la playa, ¡una ubicación fantástica! Old Timers llama a esta parte de la isla "The Narrows" donde la arena es lo suficientemente ancha para una sola fila de casas. Históricamente, el lugar más bello de las islas tropicales de Tampa Bay, entre Clearwater y St Pete. Esta es una sección de playa poco concurrida debido a que no hay acceso público a la playa para 200 yardas en cada dirección. Ideal para unas vacaciones familiares o para una escapada romántica para 2. Paso de la cubierta trasera y pasear por la playa de arena blanca. Cocina totalmente equipada, 3 dormitorios 2 baños completos, amplia sala de estar y 2 terrazas con vistas a la playa. The location of this property was PERFECT for our needs. The beach was steps away from the back deck, and the intercoastal for fishing was steps away from the front door. The beds were super comfortable, and we were close to shopping & restaurants. Thanks for having us!

Beach is amazing!As other reviews stated driveway is a challengeI would recommend one of the ATV rentals House has some cosmetic/maintenance issues but we spent a lot of time on the beach.

When we first got to our property our first impressions were mixed. The driveway is extremely narrow, and you can easily see where others have scraped against either one of the walls. Outside, the view is nice. Inside was not something we expected. The photos on the listing are not up to date and misleading. There’s cracks in the floors and ceiling. An unsealed front door that leaks when it rains and allows for plenty of ants to come in. The upstairs bathroom does not lock, and also has a glass door you can see through. The shower leaks into the kitchen from a hole. And last but not least roaches, plenty of them. We found the first one after our first night and were very alarmed. We contacted the host and they assured us it was just a palmetto bug and that they recently sprayed. I wasn’t too worried after that, until we found even more during our stay. 7 total, and no not all of them were dead. Overall, this place has a lot of potential. But unfortunately it does not look like this place has been well kept. I would not recommend this place to anyone, even if you’re just staying one night.

Not what it is portrayed to be

The location was beautiful. Great access to the beach but the house was not what it was portrayed to be at all. The pictures are definitely out dated and misleading. The property has been neglected and not properly maintained. Multiple safety violations. Mouse poop in cabinets and dishes. Main Exterior door screwed shut. Couldn’t lock the house up. Floor warped and trip hazard. No hot water in master. Stained bedding. Bathroom door is see through. Decks are falling apart and are fall hazards. Shower leaks into kitchen. Flea looking bugs all over house. Hard to get into driveway. Very narrow. Missing blinds for privacy. No knobs on any cabinet. Table cloth stained. Bath towels stained. Shower curtain stained. Upstairs shower too dark to see. Kitchen table chairs stained. Dried fluids on floor. Hair on steps. Outdoor furniture rusted. Chunks of rust everywhere. Kitchen stove was dirty. This place was honestly disgusting. We washed everything before using it and refused to let our kids in certain places of the house. We were concerned for multiple safety reasons. If we could’ve found another place to stay and afford it, we would have left the day we showed up

6/29/25-7/6I would highly not recommend this rental. It is definitely overpriced! Very disappointed! First off, the driveway is a nightmare. The floor is peeling up in the kitchen . There are missing shelves in the refrigerator. The front door was held together with boards and screws that fell apart. We patched it up and could not use the rest of the stay. We had to share 3 garbage cans with another rental that was out front. There is no recycle bin . There is a missing handle on the sliding glass door going out to the deck. Another handle is about to break. The patio furniture was rusted and busted , No cushions, and the umbrella was a child-size one . The propane tank on the grill was disgusting. The bedroom upstairs has no blinds. The bathroom upstairs has a see-through glass door for its door ! Lovely visitors every day of the giant cockroaches found upside down ! Ac unit decided to drip right through the kitchen ceiling, and you can tell it has done it before as they had a bucket collecting water in ac unit in the closet upstairs .Previous holes in ceiling . Many other little things like no nobs on the bedroom bed set , no lid on the garbage pail in the kitchen . The worst part is that Carter Vacation Rental was aware and offered 580.00 back when I told them I wasn’t happy with that and how bad the place was. I never heard back or received any money . The owners and Carter Vacation Rental obviously don’t care!

Location location location

Perfect location on the beach! Lower level bed was so comfy that we already went and bought one very similar. Everything needed was provided. Could use some updating but the rental makes that known in the description when reserving. Very nice property, beautiful sunsets

Beautiful location that needs some work

Overall, this house is in a beautiful location on the beach. The view is spectacular. However, the house itself needs some work. The driveway to park in is just sand, which two out of our three cars got stuck in and we had no heads up that the driveway was like that and the only reason the third didn’t get stuck in the sand was because it had four-wheel-drive. The railing at the top of the entryway staircase is very unstable, and even has caution tape around it. The deck on the upper floor also appears to be quite unstable. Again, beautiful home and we did enjoy our stay, The house and driveway itself just needs some work In order to be safe/accessible.

Great Location But House Is Less Than Great

The location is the only outstanding thing about this house, although it is NOT secluded like the photo shows & the driveway is so narrow we almost hit the wall & got stuck multiple times! The floors have been changed to cheap laminate & have water damage in many areas where you stub your toes on the curled up edges. The railing corner to the entry deck has caution tape on it. The main large deck is in pretty tough shape and is very warped and has nails popping up all over. My husband found a hammer and hammered a bunch back down. Two of the deck chairs almost dumped my parents out backwards because they were broken. The upstairs bathroom has a LIGHTLY BLURRED GLASS ENTRY DOOR...so when you are getting in the shower or using the restroom everyone can see. Now, the cleanliness.. we washed all of our sheets on the first day because we all had glitter on our sheets and cockroach legs in one of the beds. We killed 6 HUGE cockroaches and another 3 got away and one was crawling on the kitchen counters. When we pulled the couch out to chase the one cockroach, we found 3 other dead ones. Just a guess, but they could be getting in through the rotted side door that has a 1/4 inch rotted gap in the bottom. We were never informed that the little house behind the house we rented is also owned/managed by the same company so we had people walking by, sitting under our deck, using our chairs. This house needs some money put back into it as it is a diamond in the rough!

Perfect location

Truly right on the beach. Could not be more perfect. The house is in need of updating but clean. The driveway was a bit stressful being very narrow, almost got stuck in sand and could only back out onto busy road. The town center is so cute and very close. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice basic beachfront home

Beautiful location in a home that has quite frankly seen better days. The ravages of time to wood at a location like this, plus 2 recent hurricanes have created a nice, basic place to stay in a great location. Many maintenance, repair things need to be addressed, but quite frankly they may cost more than the home is actually worth at this point. To be clear, we enjoyed our stay. The accumulation of sand, due to storm surge, at the first ten feet of driveway make access difficult unless one is driving a 4 wheel drive (AWD) vehicle or big truck. We struggled to get in and had to be towed out when we wanted to leave.

Good house

Stayed for 3 nights. Its a good house in a great location. Location is very peaceful. Having you own private beach is amazing. Dont have to worry about a crowd. Chairs for the beach are provided, along with some odds and ends. The house had everything needed, however the house did feel outdated and needs some TLC and some parts of the house need more elbow grease when it comes to cleaning, especially the inside of the cabinets. The drveway is slightly tight and really have to watch the wall in the driveway at the neighboring house. It is not straight so it gets tighter as you are getting closer to the road. Overall a good house.

Gorgeous property!!!

Everything was amazing! All the amenities included, pots and pans coffee maker etc. perfect location! The beach is right there and it’s a quiet part too! It’s close to everything. The beds were super comfortable! The check in process was so easy and the owners were great with communicating with us! The only negative thing was that we couldn’t get the cable to work but we also suck with technology. You’ve got the beach so why do you even need tv? We will be back!

Great location!

It's close to many great restaurants and you have a dedicated spot on the beach that is nearly all to yourself. We saw dolphins and lots of other wildlife from the deck. The house was about what we expected based on other reviews, it does need some updating but it sounds like that will happen soon. It was clean and the appliances were relatively new. Overall it was a great beach getaway!

A bit disappointing

Location was great. Pictures on website are very old. Wood flooring in dining room had holes in it. Holes in walls,filthy dining room chairs, toilet was broke,cockcroch found. It could be a wonderful place. Needs ALOT of TLC. I paid too much for what all was wrong. Beautiful view and sunsets.

Here is just a quick overview of my career along with a few of Carter Vacation strengths in the rental industry.

I have been involved in the hospitality field most of my life. After graduating from Boston University back in 1986 I got my start working as a night auditor in a small hotel just outside of Boston. I quickly became fascinated with this industry and wanted to know everything about it. I enjoyed finding new ways to improve the overall experience for the guests and in doing so, I was promoted often. I learned all aspects of each department and through the years I became the General Manager of some very well-known hotels.

During my corporate career as a General Manager of a Hyatt Hotel in Tampa I had an opportunity to manage a small beach vacation rental along the shores of the Gulf. Simply put…I was hooked. This became my new passion and career.
My wife and I had stayed in vacation rentals in the past with mixed feelings about our stays, I knew there was room for improvement in the Vacation Rental business and I was excited to get started.

My team and I have worked hard and I feel our success at Carter Coastal Vacation Rentals is from having a variety of vacation property options that suites each guests needs and budget. We also have chosen to keep Carter Vacation Rentals business relatively small in order to maintain a personable connection with each of our new arrivals. I, along with my team understand the importance of anticipating the guest’s needs as well as treating each guest with complete respect during their vacation getaway.
