With views stretching across the Bay of Catania to Mount Etna and the Calabrian coast beyond, Villa Saracena occupies an enviable position. The sauna, Jacuzzi and pool make it a perfect destination for a relaxing break away from the stresses of daily life while the daily service means you will rarely have to lift a finger! Inside: accommodation at Villa Saracena is all on one floor. The front door leads into a large open-plan living and dining area area with superb sea views and access to two panoramic terraces, one of which is furnished for lounging, the other for dining. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen is accessed from near the dining table and also has a glass door leading out onto a shady area where you might wish to take breakfast.

To one side of the house there are three bedrooms: a double with en-suite bathroom with tub and shower and access to a lovely sea-view terrace, and two double-twins, each with its own en-suite shower room.

To the other side of the house are four double-twin bedrooms. One has an en-suite shower room, one a shower room next door, and the final two share a shower room.

Outside: after passing through the gate towards the ample parking area at the rear of the house, the first view of the villa is of white arches, extensive wrap-around gardens and the turquoise Mediterranean Sea.

The open-plan living and dining area spills outside onto shady terrace running along the entire façade of the property. Furnished for dining and lounging, this area boasts unforgettable views of the pool, the Gulf of Catania and Mount Etna.

Down below is the pool area, which offers the same remarkable views. Set in lawned gardens and delimited by Mediterranean flora and stone paths cut by Greek quarrymen over 2,500 years ago, the pool area is served by a second façade-length shady terrace, home to a sitting area, a sauna and a Jacuzzi

Due to the nature of the property including terraces low walls and several drops around the grounds, children must be supervised at all times.

Villa Saracena is situated in a complex of holiday residences on a stretch of coast near the seafront town of Brucoli, virtually equidistant from Catania to the north and Syracuse to the south. In summer the holiday complex gets more lively and offers facilities such as a tennis club and a grocery shop, while outside the peak months, it has a more tranquil feel. Heading south past Siracusa is Noto, many sandy beaches, including those in Vendicari Nature Reserve and the other UNESCO World Heritage towns of and Ragusa, Modica and Scicli. An easy drive to the north will take you past Catania to Taormina and Mount Etna.
