Another Great Stay

My family and I love staying at Elk Rapids Beach Condominiums. This particular unit has 2 bedrooms which is a big plus. Clean, easy to access. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice getaway

Condo was clean, nicely furnished and a very walkable distance to anything we wanted to do in Elk Rapids. Nice beach right in front (across a street) and a pool too. Great views from the living room area, and a table and chairs outside too to sit and enjoy the views.

Excellent spot

This was exactly what we needed for our long weekend up north! A beautiful spot with gorgeous views, beach access and even though the weather wasn’t perfect, the pool was open and heated and we were able to enjoy! The condo has great amenities and the location is perfect - a short walk to Shorts, a quick drive to TC. We’d love to be back!

Overall it was good. We needed 6 towels and only received 5, and there were no sheets for the pullout couch in the bedroom, only the living room. Other than that, it was nice.

Nice Stay

The pictures accurately depict the property. It has a nice sandy beach right across the street. (The street is not busy.) It is right across US 31 from Short's Pull Barn and main brewery. The property was clean and well kept. We would stay here again.

Great view

Our family of four (kids ages 8 & 5) had a great time. The layout of the property is very odd and only worked fine for us because the kids are so young. I would not feel comfortable with anyone besides my immediate family — the only access to the bedroom is through two bathrooms. Aside from that, the place was well stocked, nicely redone with great looking finishes, super clean and with a view that made walking up the 3 flights of stairs worth it. We would definitely stay again.

Family Trip

Very nice location. We were able to walk downtown and to the beach. Our kids really enjoyed the pool. Neighbors were all super nice. Our only complaint was regarding the beds. They were not comfortable. An actual bed in the 2nd bedroom would be nice.

Beautiful views, great location, recently renovated

First time in Elk Rapids, and the location was superb. Just off 31 on a quiet sidestreet great for biking and walking, and a nice healthy mile or so walk to town. Across from the beach - can easily walk kayaks across. Third floor provided great views, and enjoyed the exercise of the stairs (property renter called to make sure we were OK with stairs - no elevators!). Recently renovated with new paint, new floors, new furniture. However, another 'surprise' renovation is that the listed large bathroom with jetted tub & walk-in shower is now two 1/2 baths with one walk-in shower - no jetted tub, which was a bit disappointing, as the pool had closed for the season. They also added WiFi recently, which was a pleasant surprise (listing on VRBO says NO WiFi - needs to be updated!) Would definitely stay again, but please update VRBO!

Great quality at a resonable price

The unit was very clean and functional. The unit has been recently updated and that definitely can be felt. It is right across Grand Traverse bay and the beach across the street was great and mostly empty, we almost felt like we had a private beach. The pool was also nice. The neighbors were very nice and friendly. If you are a light sleeper please be aware that there's road noise that you can hear in the bedroom, which since bothered me. My wife and kids on the other hand slept right through it without any problem. Overall a great value for the money. I recommend it.
