Great Beach Access

Everything about staying here was great. The condo has pretty much anything you would need and great access to the beach. We will be choosing this spot again.

Location was perfect. The condo could use some upgrades. Couldn’t get the oven to work, and there wasn’t a spatula or chip clips. Just could use a little refresh and attention to details (like a deep cleaning) that make a rental truly a luxury experience.

Place was exactly like the pictures, very neat and clean. Was great to be right on the beach and have our own area on the beach. Really enjoyed our stay and about the only thing we could say needed attention was for there to be blinds in the bedroom windows instead of the shutter style on there, it lets too much of the outside hallway light in when its dark. Other than that it was a great place and perfect for 2 people.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was perfect for a couple’s getaway-had all basic needs, the bed was comfy and the view was amazing! Being able to walk right out to the private/not overly crowded beach was a huge plus. Check in and check out was easy and everyone was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is great - lovely view of and access to the beach. Interesing decor and clearly recently updated. But there were several problems with the unit. It was Thanksgiving weekend and I needed to bake several pies for my family. The oven was not working and was not fixed. Also, the unit's thermostat was programmed to not go below 72 degrees. That caused my first night to be very uncomfortable. After requesting a change, a maintenance person came late in the day and modified the setting. There were multiple dead roaches in the unit during my 4 day stay. All the chairs in the unit are tall bar stools. I have a bad knee so the only place I could sit down was on a lumpy couch. Internet was very slow and spotty. So, my stay could have been a lot better - but the location is great.

Definitely a 5 star location.

Loved the Condo, decor could use updating. Master suite has room for a King bed, currently has a Queen. Mattress definitely needs to be replaced. Needs a deep cleaning, especially in Shower. Beautiful view and sunsets. We will return to Emerald Hill. Property was clean and well maintained.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is literally steps from the beach. Very convenient to come and go. Property was very clean plenty of towels and a fairly well stocked kitchen. Staff is always very attentive and helpful. Next time we are renting bikes. If we had them, we would not have needed our car. So much to do, so close to this location! We would return!

Perfect!

This condo is stunning. Great location, breathtaking views, clean and quiet condo. Has everything to enjoy a trip to 30A. I didn’t cook while there but there seemed to be adequate kitchen cookware to make meals if needed. Plenty of towels in the bathroom and a comfortable bed. Great starter pack of a few things you might need to get started in the kitchen. Paper towel, trash bag, dish soap, dishwasher tabs and kitchen towels. Everything was as pictured and rental company was quick to respond if I had questions. Great experience and I would be happy to stay again!

Overall a great pick for a 1BR on the beach in Seagrove. This was our 2nd stay at Emerald Hill, and we wanted to be ON the dunes with a walk down to the beach. Pros: great pool for windy days, views of the Gulf from the room, easy walk down to the beach (one of the shortest staircases that we've seen) on the BEACH side of the access gate (no code needed!), extremely quiet end unit. Cons: neither ceiling fan remote worked (even with fresh batteries...they didn't have any in them), cleanliness was not very good when we arrived, there was even a bag of clothes under the bed (along with a ton of dust bunnies), instruction could be much better on locking the front door when leaving, dated layout, dirty foldout couch, queen bed, minimal amenities (one 3" bar of soap and one roll of TP??!!). At these beachfront prices, you MUST have a king bed, there's simply no excuse. It made the stay pretty uncomfortable. Add a king bed and some decent amenities, replace the couch, and pay attention to management and cleaning, and it would be a no-brainer for a return. A minor note as well...we understand the need to maintain the dunes through landscaping and root structure, but the giant, unkempt shrubs right in the line of sight to the Gulf could easily be trimmed or replaced with smaller plants without affecting the dune erosion controls (IMHO).
