Shorewood 501- Penthouse 5th Floor Amazing Views!

Con un balcón en el quinto piso al que se puede acceder desde la sala de estar, los huéspedes que se hospedan en Shorewood 501 disfrutan de amplias vistas del Océano Atlántico, una playa de arena blanca y las aguas cristalinas de una piscina frente al mar. Great location - easy access to pool and beach

You can't beat the panoramic view - right off the elevator to the beach walk and pool.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Shorewood 501 for a week of catching up with girlfriends. The condo is comfortable and the views of the ocean greet you as soon as you walk in! The only minor problem was with the electric outlets. Many did not hold a plug! Using hair dryers in the two back bathrooms caused the outlets to stop working. The breaker panel is obstructed by the washer/dryer and unlabeled so it was difficult to see what needed to be flipped back on. This was our only issue. Seashore Vacations brought us a Keurig machine from their office to use for the week! They are the best!

It was ok. Beautiful view. The farthest bedroom was warmer than the others. Management explained that bedroom was the furthest from the a/c unit so it would feel warmer in that room. Wanted to sweep the floor but the broom was filled with huge dustballs. Called once to get certain things fixed. The person on the phone didn't seem the friendliest when I spoke to her so I did not bother to call back with another issue. At the end I left the villa as clean as possible like I always do. This is our 8th year at Shorewood villas.

We continue to wonder why the owners don't take the TV out of that cabinet and mount it on the wall as the sound is very muffled. Still the best price for a 3 bedroom corner unit. If we had the money, we would buy!!! Thanks again for a super holiday.

Great Views, Great Location!!

We have stayed in several other units, as we rent 2 or 3 for our family - all our kids and grandkids. This unit has the most wonderful views of the ocean and the pool. The pool was heated and very nice and warm, while the weather was a bit on the cool and rainy side, everyone still spent many hours in the pool, perfect for all ages, especially our toddlers. The grounds and facilities have been beautifully maintained. Love Shorewood and we look forward to visiting again.

Reviewer Comments: We booked this Unit as we like the s forest beech area, no carpet, no pets as we have 1 with allergy issues. upon arriving unit appeared to be clean. after 1st night in master bedroom one head terrible respiratory issues . , with further viewing we did notice what appeared to be animal hair behind bed. after speaking with full time resident we were informed that they were some service animals permitted on site, we truly understand , however we feel we should have been notified before booking . luckily we had small enough party to move to another bedroom.

Nice location and beautiful view, but dirty condo!!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and the unit was spacious enough for 6 adults. Loved the three bathroom. It was however very dirty!! Carpets and upholstery we filthy! There were wrappers and potato chips in the clothes drawers and under beds and cabinets. When I called to have a bed frame repaired it took 4 days to come and when I told the rental agency about how dirty, the response I got was " We don't have time to clean the units thoroughly this time of year since we are so busy" I would not rent here again even though I have been to Shorewood 3 times. When I pay $3000 for a week of vacation rental, I expect it to be clean.

Feedback for future stays

Lovely property with beautiful views of the ocean and pool. Really liked the layout for the bedrooms. A few things that we experienced during our stay. These were told to rental co at checkout 6-10-23 *The bottom dishwasher gasket inside was missing, so we had to keep a towel in front for leaking water. *the blue comforter on the middle bedroom bed was blood stained so should be replaced. *The master middle window would not close completely. *We could not find a broom in the condo to sweep up daily sand/grit. But there were 3 dust pans; We did find a swiffer *The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms: Closets were full of beach chairs, and other items, which didn’t allow us to store our suitcases. Would have been nice to have had mirrors on the back of the doors to see yourself while getting ready. More towels in each bathroom would have been helpful Overall it was a beautiful weather week and other than the dishwasher issue, everything else was in good working order.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental experience was very good, check in was simple, staff was great when we had concerns about the air conditioning. Of course, we were very dissatisfied with the elevator being down for an entire day and we were in the 5th floor. We had to take all of the heavy stuff down five flights of steps. This if course is no reflection of rental company, but a problem with Shorewood Villas. I firmly believe folks who stayed there should get some type if reimbursement for the inconvenience! As a side note 501 Shorewood is a penthouse/top floor and as such half of the unit was very warm in fact it didn't cool off until evening. I could not feel any cool air coming out of vents. Owners may want to get a second hvac and install it.

Terrible experience

The unit we rented was on the top floor of the complex (501 Shorewood). A new roof system was being installed and completely disrupted our vacation. Could not use the outside patio because of falling debris from the roof. Crews started at 7:00am and we were subject to very loud noise inside the unit throughout the day. The grandkids were unable to take their naps. Access to unit was challenging because of the placement of the construction companies crane and supplies. The management company should have made us aware of the construction project. We would never have stayed at the property.

Great family vacation

Wonderful

One of our favorite condos in Shorewood. Everything was perfect, except the master bedroom mattress. It’s probably due for a replacement - two body-sized grooves on each side of the bed makes it hard to find a comfortable place to sleep.

This was our first time in Shorewood and the location was great - close to Coligny and the beach, plus the views from the balcony were awesome!

We spent most of our time on the large covered balcony with direct views of the ocean and the pool. Prior to our visit, I had several questions for the property management team and they were very responsive and informative. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.
