La cabaña presidencial en Steinhatchee Landing

Esta casa de tres dormitorios, tres baños y medio se encuentra en Steinhatchee Landing Resort. Una antigua casa de vacaciones del presidente y la señora Jimmy Carter, la casa está idealmente ubicada para los huéspedes que desean comer vieiras, pescar o simplemente disfrutar de las muchas comodidades del complejo, que incluyen una piscina al aire libre, instalaciones para ejercicios, sauna, bañera de hidromasaje, zoológico de mascotas, campo de tiro con arco, canchas de tenis y baloncesto. We had the most wonderful stay at The Presidential Lodge in Steinhatchee Landing from Wednesday, August 27 through Sunday, August 31. The house itself was absolutely beautiful—spacious, thoughtfully designed, and filled with charm. The porches were perfect for gathering with family and friends, whether for morning coffee or late-night conversations, and quickly became our favorite hangout spots.The beds were incredibly comfortable, making every night’s sleep restful and rejuvenating after long days snorkeling. Every detail in the lodge added to the sense of relaxation and ease, creating the perfect backdrop for our scalloping getaway.If you’re looking for a serene retreat with all the comforts of home (and then some), The Presidential Lodge is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

We had a truly wonderful time. The home was perfect exactly as advertised. The amenities were outstanding. Boat dock was very easy to get to. I recommend going by the Sea Hag marina County boat ramp to put in larger boats.

Perfect family getaway

This was one of the best rental experiences I’ve had. Our family was very comfortable in this charming cottage. It was clean, the owner was very communicative, and the house was very well stocked. We would love to stay here again!

Love this house.

The house is adorable. Beds are comfortable and plenty of space for everyone. This was our second year renting and we already booked again for next year.

Cozy Cottage

We have been coming to Steinhatchee landing for 13 years and have stayed in many of the cottages. You can tell that this cottage is well cared for by it's owners. Everyone had their own comfortable bedroom and private bath and we we had plenty of room to come together in the main living area. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Great place with great host

Took the entire family for scalloping. It was a perfect place. The home has plenty of room for my family of 5. It’s very convenient to the boat dock. There is also plenty of room for trailer parking. The host was very approachable and communication was easy. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Wedding Weekend

This home is beautiful and a perfect place for family and friends. Our son was married at the chapel and reception at the conference center this weekend. Many family and friends stayed within the Landing Community. The home is close to the petty zoo, the boat dock, cleaning stations and pool. The property grounds are inviting and beautiful. We had a wonderful visit. The host - Barry - was very responsive with questions and checked in with us to make sure we didn't need anything. Exceptional property!

Family getaway

We really enjoyed our long weekend scalloping, it’s beautiful home and a great location. We brought a boat and trailer parking was plentiful and onsite. The docks are floating docks and a short walk to the house. The pool was great as well and the community had a lot of amenities to offer. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing 65th Birthday Weekend

Spent a wonderful weekend with my birthday husband and family. The house is perfect! Beds are super comfortable and every room has their own bathroom. The community is gorgeous and everyone is friendly. Highly recommend!

Great Weekend Getaway

We have stayed in this same house several years in a row and that should speak volumes for how nice and cozy this house is. We had one issue with a smoke alarm and the owner had his repair man over in 30 minutes or less to fix it. The service is fantastic and the house is great. Already booked it again next year.

Home away from home

We traveled as 3 couples for scallop season. Our main reason for choosing this property was location, 5 star reviews and bathrooms with each bedroom. Of note, we did slide the 2 twins together attached a mattress connector and brought a king sheet set and comforter from home to make it better for a couple. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook 3 full meals at home. Weber (charcoal) grill outback that was big enough for our group. Scallop cleaning station within walking distance was a bonus. The men loved the recliners for afternoon naps. The front porch swing was our favorite spot for morning coffee. Would recommend this property to any families or couples!

Amazing property, fabulous host

We have stayed at this lovely home many times through the years! It is definately a family favorite! This year, in particular, the owners/host went above and beyond to take care of us. We were notified before our arrival that they were having some difficulty with the fridge, which allowed us to plan a bit better and they were so accommodating to help us get it sorted out with lightening speed. So grateful and can’t wait to come back! A real gem of a property!

Fantastic home and location

This was our sixth year staying in The Landings and this was our favorite home so far. Just a short walk to the petting zoo and dock. The house was very spacious and comfortable for our 4 adults, 2 kids, and felt just like home. The host was great; Barry reached out several times to welcome us and to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Thank you!

Cozy stay

This house is a great cozy cottage that is the best situated in the entire neighborhood. Lots of shade trees and a great floor plan and it’s really nice that every bedroom has its own bathroom. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked it again next year.

Barry and Judy Fewson discovered Steinhatchee Landing in 2011, shortly after retiring as owners/operators of several assisted living facilities in Minnesota. Wanting to find a warmer winter environment (rather than northwest Minnesota) they also sought an area that was quiet, dog friendly, and boasted exceptional fishing.
