The Hatch House

The Hatch house is a 3 bedroom 3 bath home on the Steinhatchee river that sleeps 8 adults. The house has a private boat ramp and private 70-foot long by 10-foot wide deep water dock. Perfect for scallop season, fishing tournaments, or just getting out on the river. The home is family-friendly, and there is plenty of privacy.

We know your pets are part of the family. In order to protect our guests, pets are not allowed.

The kitchen is fully stocked, and the home is fully furnished.
The river views from the wrap around porch are stunning!

If you need to work away from home, we now have high-speed internet!

This place on the Steinhatchee River was everything I hoped for—private, safe, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The atmosphere was relaxing, and I especially loved spending time on the porch. It was the perfect getaway, and I definitely want to come back!

This property was absolutely amazing. The house was beautiful inside and the location was perfect. We had everything we needed. It’s like having three master suites which was awesome. It was large and roomy. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. Everything was really just great about this property and the owner was perfect as far as communication and giving us information sort of pointing us in the right direction for our scalloping adventures just overall very good experience. I would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect home for our 2 families! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The home was clean and spacious. The dock was great for our 2 boats. We had a great trip. We will be back.

So Peaceful

This house is everything and more! Can’t get anymore peaceful. The house was perfect as well! Enjoyed watching nature from inside the home thru all the glass doors and also on the deck. Boat ramp and dock is a MAJOR plus!

Fish ready

The property was amazing. Had its own boat dock never had to take the boats out of the water till we were ready to leave. I had a wonderful time. was great place to stay we'll do it again.

Loved this place!

Great kitchen and living room space to watch football and cook our scallop meal. The dock was perfect for our two boats with enough space for a third. Loved the view while we drank coffee. Very clean and the host was wonderful to work with. We will definitely be coming back next year.

Awesome place!

Such a nice place on the river with only woods across from you. Well stocked kitchen, cozy furniture, boat ramp and super long dock on property makes it perfect for a scalloping or fishing trip with your own boat! Great host, communicates quickly with you!

Beautiful Home on private property

Home was beautiful & off of a private gravel road with a gate. Private boat ramp & floating dock was very easy to use and convenient. Boat ride to inlet was about 50 mins. Any issues we had while we were there were quickly taken care of by the host.

Great House

Really nice house. Modern, open floor plan. Great views of river. A little long idle in boat to the gulf, but scenery is nice - and there’s nothing wrong with a little boat ride. Communication with owner / manager was easy and very efficient on a couple questions I had. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Beautiful spot

We had an amazing stay at The Hatch House. Plenty of room for our family. We did some scalloping, fishing and went to Steinhatchee Falls. The home is very nice and clean. It's furnished well also. We'll be back!

Beautiful setting on the River

3 couples enjoyed our stay on the River. Very clean and a well equipped kitchen. Wish the weather was warmer so we could have enjoyed the deck and dock. Only thing that could have been better about this rental is that there is no shower in the master bathroom, tub only. Host was great to work with and answered any questions we had promptly.

Riverfront oasis

We loved the privacy, the river views, and the peacefulness of this home. Minimal boat traffic so we were able to paddleboard right from the house and launch and dock our boat right there. Plenty of room with each bedroom having its own bath. Highly recommend.

Great house on the water

The pictures do not do this place justice, the great room was really wonderful for our family to prepare meals, play games, and spend quality time together, all with a great view of the water. The boat ramp and dock were excellent for our 22ft Bay boat and we had a great time scalloping.

Dan and Heather have been coming to Steinhatchee for years to go fishing and scalloping. We decided to buy a place of our own so we can spend more time here. we are not ready for full time so we decided to share it with others so they can make memories as well. I hope you all enjoy the Hatch House as much as we do!

The Hatch House has some of the best views on the river. Across the river from us is a lush wooded forest and wetlands owned by the state. We have a boat ramp on the property so you don't have to wait at the ramp. There is room for your trailer too! We have a 30 foot floating dock with plenty of water in any tide.
