Property was nice and clean

Everything was great. Michael responded as soon as we contacted him. We had to unforunately leave early due to a death but enjoyed our short stay there.

Beautiful Setting

The house was located on a beautifully landscaped secluded lot with several trees and lush plants. The outdoor lights added a magical glow. There was plenty of room for our group and we were able to set up extra beds as needed. The host was very attentive and even made arrangements to meet with us the next day to retrieve some items we forgot.

Nice property with privacy from neighbors

Nice property. House is pretty secluded from those around it. Pool and hot tub are great. About 5 miles from downtown Sarasota and 30 minutes out to the Gulf of Mexico.

Such a great stay!

The property was spacious, well-equipped, and perfectly located—quiet and secluded, yet close to shops and restaurants. The host was incredibly helpful and attentive, making everything easy and enjoyable. I truly appreciated the opportunity to stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We had a great experience staying at this property! The place was cute, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was fantastic—extremely friendly, responsive, and very attentive to all our questions, which made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. The only suggestion I would make is to update the pictures on the website, as a few things have changed since they were taken. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this property to others!

Great Florida Escape!

This property was perfect for our group of eight. It is secluded enough to feel like you are in a beautiful tropical jungle, yet every amenity you need is within walking distance. Michael is a great host and wants to make sure that you have a wonderful stay.

Perfect Location for Our Small Wedding

We booked this location for 5 days for our small wedding (20 people). The host was beneficial in coordinating and communicating with us regarding details and questions. Having everything that we needed on-site and in good condition was incredible.If you are looking for something that is close to main areas like UTC and downtown Sarasota, but also with privacy and a beautiful piece of property, this is the place!

Countryside stay within the city

Very friendly host and gives excellent recommendations to tourists. Thank you very much! The amenities were totally enjoyed by the entire group. The property is modestly decorated but with all the expected amenities. According to the owner, the smell of sulfur in the water is something that is beyond his control.

Beautiful

This house was the perfect getaway for my family and I. It was close enough to drive to any place that you needed; food, grocery stores, etc. But, it was still closed off from the public where we had our privacy. My family and I loved the pool, hot tub, bicycles, and everything that was included. It felt like a home away from home and we are already looking forward to coming back in the future. There were no complications and our manager, Michael was very helpful with everything.

Natural Beauty

We loved the natural beauty of the property. This was a lovely place to stay, with a walking trail surrounded by interesting plants and animals. Comfortable beds, nice deck, and a hot tub. Fantastic!

Quick Weekend Trip

Came for weekend and arrived late at night. Pleasant surprise that host had left us muffins for morning since we hadn’t gotten anything since we were so late due to delays. Good communication and directions. Very clean upon arrival and as described. Good selection of restaurants near by. Definitely will be back next year. Michael was a kind host. Thank you.

My wedding was almost shut down

I wrote a longer review on Google that exceeded the character limit here but wanted to provide a synopsis of our wedding week at the location. - property was gorgeous but his property next door takes away from it’s beauty - fire pit is on his property so we didn’t want to use it - property owner fined us $500 on our wedding day because my husband smoked on the porch then threatened to shut the wedding down until he got paid - treated one of our vendors incredibly poorly because they parked in the driveway when they were supposed to call him upon arrival - made a statement about the pool looking like it had been slashed by a knife and he was going to check cameras (my son used the pool once for a very short period of time) Again, this is just a brief synopsis of our 4 day stay and I would highly recommend reading my longer, more detailed review prior to booking especially if it’s for the biggest day of your life.

Extended Family Vacation

Lovely location, accommodating & responsive host. Communication was excellent. Michael was very helpful in getting us settled in as well as offering local recommendations & assistance with the pool & hot tub. We were able to sleep 14: 4 people in 2 bedrooms & 6 in the 3rd. It was close quarters, but worth it to spend the holidays together.

The stay

Overall a decent experience. House was just like expected. There were no directions on how to use anything, so the first night we were not able to swim (too cold) or use the hot tub. The owner did change that the following morning though. My friend did stay one night, and where it said guests were $25 a day, I suppose I miss understood, because I had to pay $25 a day for every night I was there even though she didn’t stay the duration. Luckily I was only there for 3 nights and not a whole week. And lastly, one thing that concerned me as I was sitting there with my daughter the Alexa echo came on and stated it was “owners name” testing. It made the rest of the stay a little uneasy.

Hidden gem!

Located in an amazing location - so close to everything, but very secluded. Mark was very easy to communicate with and even left us breakfast for the first morning! Didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it is much larger than it appears in pictures. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a reasonable accomodation in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.

Amazing weekend

We came to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday and this place was perfect. Owner gave us a warm welcoming. House was clean,the outside was great for kids. Owner helped us prepare the backyard and was very nice to us. when we came into the house we were greeted by a full fruit basket and breakfast croissants! We had a great weekend. Thank you Michael!!!

This will or already does include: Fitness Trail, 32-FT pool with volleyball, hot tub, air conditioned fitness center, movie room, massage room, and children's playroom. Inside out theme will be changing too. If you don't see pictures of it, those changes are not yet complete. Feel free to ask for status updates. At no time will our updates interfere with your enjoyment of our Tropical Escape.

Fortunately we've become a destination for people all over the world. Noted in the news as "The Most Wish-Listed" listing in Sarasota County (2018, ArBnb). During a few events, I've been asked the if the property was a local park. Rest and relaxation, yet convenient to so much of Sarasota. We've hosted 1-night travelers, snow birds, Couples, and Families. Our Tropical Escape has become popular for events too: weddings, retreats, quinceañeras, corporate trainings, reunions, and more.
