Enjoyed our Stay

We enjoyed our stay here. The room could overall use an update with cleaning some areas like the carpets and curtains etc but no complaints other than that. Would still recommend.

Destin trip

Love the palms of Destin. This condo was perfect size for our family but it could definitely use some updating. The holes repaired on the walls wasn’t even finished. Overall though we will be back to the palms of destin next year.

Nice, but needs updating

The property overall is nice. However they will never allow you to get in before 4pm regardless to what they told my wife on the phone. The counter agent was honest about that, but the phone agent gave us false information about coming in early. The luggage cart situation left a lot to be desired. When some were available they were damaged and difficult to manage. The unit was a no brainer for families. But the big dark spots in the entryway made us uneasy with the children. The drapes were dirty/discolored. And luckily we brought disposable sheets from Amazon. The comforter in the master had yellow stains that brought about a lot of concerns. Though we could tell the place had been cleaned. But the owner should definitely change the curtains, comforters, and seat cushions. The facility has an amazing pool, and with that being said, hard wood would be ideal since some patrons just walk in allowing pool water to see into the carpet. Overall we were ok with the accommodation, however for almost $2,000, for a few days a better presentation would make this top notch.

Good little place but they have got to change their carpet

We did enjoy our stay! The location was great and the pool was super cool! I really don’t have any complaints except that I can’t help but think there was mold underneath that carpet. We were fine when we weren’t in the condo, but if we were we were sneezy and got itchy eyes…everyone was affected. We even got COVID tests just in case and tested negative. I would stay at the resort again- just maybe not that specific condo!

Too good to be true

Had a lot of issues such as the internet being out, the dryer not working. Utensils and plates provided were mostly old and had food on them. The resort itself has good staff but security is going to go around making sure your drinks are 6 feet away from the water and effectively be the fun police. Just was not the place to really have fun and relax. I probably left more stressed than arriving. Just a lot of missed chances on this being what we wanted.

Nice place, poor communication.

My family and I loved the condo! It was clean, very comfortable and stocked with all the kitchen essentials. The amenities on the property are amazing as well. Our kids loved the pool! We had a problem with the fire alarm and a broken cabinet door. I reached out to the owner via this app, NEVER got a reply. I called regarding the fire alarm and the property manager simply said there’s no one in the area to fix it. We simply had to resolve it ourselves.

Destin Family Trip

We love staying at this property, this was our second stay here. The 3 bedroom needs updated. Patio table has no glass on top, so basically worthless. The pull out couch had dirty sheets, the curtains in the middle bedroom have blood and other unknown stuff on them. The carpet needs replaced. The 2 bedroom room had roach problems. There is a picture behind the couch with the glass broken. The sliding doors in both rooms need fixed. People pay quite a bit to stay here, it's just a let down to run into these items.

Great Vacation Getaway!!

Stayed at this property for a week with 2 other couples. The property was wonderful, lagoon pool was amazing (no matter when we went it never felt like it was too busy due to the large area) , and location of condo was great!! Good communication with the owner. We already have another vacation booked for next year! Can’t wait!!

Not supper pleased with my stay

Checking in I couldn’t access my email and it was impossible to get ahold of the people to get in to the room. The furniture was old and uncomfortable to sit in. There was finger prints all ove the balcony glass doors and windows. We tried to do a load of laundry there was towels in the washer already no telling how long they’ve been there. So after we did a load of laundry it took us 2 days about 6-7 cycles in the dryer to finally get the towels to dry. They never mentioned there was construction going on so every morning at 8am we would get our early morning wake up call with chisels and grinding of equipment upstairs. To top it of the night before we left we found a couple ants didn’t think nothing of it. Well the next morning there was a lot more than just a couple. I also texted the owner or whoever is in charge of renting this condo. My text was about 20 hours ago asking if they had found my charger and still no reply. Also the building offers a vallet and we was tired our first night there so we used it. So when we woke up the following morning there was no vallet station. We had to wait about 15 minutes for the security guard to get our keys back to us. Not after he told us next time just park the car yourself and I replied well why offer a vallet if this is going to be an issue. It wasn’t all bad though. The food at the restaurant was awesome definitely recommend the breakfast pizza. Also the regular pizzas was great the kids loved them. The pool was also great nice switch from having to fight the waves on the beach. We could all relax and just let the kids swim in the pool without panicking.

Great Location

The dryer takes hours to dry the towels. There was not a closet in the master bathroom.

Staycation

Our Mardi Gras krewe had a catered party at their restaurant Prime’d. Had a great time! Fun weekend with friends! So happy to find 3bdrm with 3 large beds. Most have two singles or bunk beds in the 3rd room! Will rent again someday!

Very nice property

We had plenty of room - however, the property listing failed to state the master bedroom closet and pantry in the kitchen have locks on them and cannot be used. This was a dealbreaker for me because I needed a closet for my clothes and we needed storage for the food we bought. I would make sure to not rent this particular unit again because of that, though I would rent another unit from this property. The only other issue I had was that the carpets were not clean. There were many stains and looked worn. Otherwise, the unit was clean. One last item - the door code, which did not work via the last email I received from the property manager and I had to call the number to get the issue resolved. It was late in the evening when we arrived and the front desk was not staffed. That was minor and easily fixed. Nice pool area, decent gym ... there is not a spa in this property, as I believed. The road construction is annoying and there is not a stoplight leading to/from the property. Overall a great stay.

Beautiful and clean!

I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness, and I don't think it could have felt any cleaner. Was impressed. I'm like another reviewer....the dryer took f.o.r.e.ve.r to dry a load of towels. Other than that I would highly recommend this condo.

Very pleased

Great condo with great views. It was plenty big enough for two families. The pool was great. The only two draw backs was the dryer didn’t work very well and I wished we could have walked to the beach. It was a 3 minute drive so that worked too. We would love to stay there again

The condo was really nice and clean. It is in a good location.

We really enjoyed our condo. It was very clean and the balcony is very nice. It was equipped with needed kitchenware. So we were pleased with it. The only problem we had was the dryer didn’t dry properly. It took all day to dry 2 loads of towels. So that was a bit stressful with a family of 8 as far as bath & beach towels for 5 days. Now we ran into some issues with the resort itself. We arrived on a Thursday and left on a Tuesday. The restaurant & spa are not open daily at the resort. During our stay the restaurant was only open Saturday so our plans of eating there did not occur. When calling the spa it was not going to open till Tuesday so we were not able to take part in that either. There was yellow tape on playground area roping off some of the equipment & the grass looked tall. So I didn’t take my children over to it. The mushroom in kid area of pool did not have water flowing down from it as pictured online. They were a bit disappointed about that, too. But the rest of pool was nice. There was the same dead roach in the corner of the hallway of resort outside of condo our whole stay showing that it isn’t cleaned often. The code on outside door that you use to enter resort before entering condo was sometimes needed & sometimes not. Meaning it wasn’t always locked. Then it appeared they changed it on us during our stay so we were not able to enter until someone came to open door the last days of our stay. There seemed to only be 2 carts for loading & unloading luggage. Which was a problem when arriving. There wasn’t one available. So we had to pack it all by hand to 5’th floor. Overall condo itself was good but the resort was a disappointing. We were mislead from what we read online in comparison to what we saw when arriving. Destin is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and do plan to return. However, we are already looking for a condo at a different resort.

Spacious and great for a family with older children

My family enjoyed the large accommodations, the wonderful view from the patio, the tv in each room when we needed a break from each other, and the great pool area. I did have a few issues though. We came in late on a Sunday and had to phone the rental company and even after a phone call it was unclear how to check in and get our access. My husband ended up talking to a bartender in the public area to figure things out. At that time, my 13 year old son went into the complex with him to use the bathroom only to walk in to a public restroom completely covered in feces. Needless to say, we didn't start off on a great note. The rest of the week proceeded better. My other complaint: they need to provide enough supplies (toilet paper, dishwasher soap, garbage bags) for you to be equipped for your entire stay. For example - we got two dishwasher tablets for a week. When you are flying in you don't want to be packing that in your luggage nor buy 25 garbage bags at the local Walmart for a week long stay.
