¡PASO A LA HISTORIA! The Village at Grand Traverse Commons es una experiencia sin igual. Anteriormente el Hospital Estatal de Traverse City, esta maravilla de conservación es ahora una comunidad bulliciosa de usos comerciales y residenciales mixtos.

Compré este condominio en 2017. Se encuentra en el piso superior (3er) de Cottage 20. Es accesible por ascensor y también está equipado con su propia lavadora y secadora.

El espacio es ideal para 2 personas, pero puede acomodar a 2 personas adicionales en el sofá cama queen de espuma de memoria. Este es un punto de vista maravilloso desde el que explorar la zona. Es acogedor, cómodo y está equipado con todo lo necesario para que su estancia sea relajada y sin preocupaciones. Hay una chimenea eléctrica para el ambiente y el calor añadido. Los huéspedes también pueden disfrutar del magnífico porche delantero cubierto.

Convenient & Cute!

My family of four enjoyed our stay in this cute apartment! The god out couch was comfortable for my two daughters (12 & 10), and the master bedroom had plenty of space, both in the room and closet. The bed mattress was a little firm for my taste, and the floors were very squeaky, but otherwise everything was great!

Quick Weekend Stay

Overall our stay here was good. The only negative was that we could not figure out how to operate the remote/television and our host was not helpful—she wanted me to call the cable company to figure out the issue and that is not acceptable. A small thing: I’ve stayed previously at a couple of other properties at The Commons and this is the only property that didn’t have a binder of FAQ’s or information about the property (such as television troubleshooting). I’d suggest that to the owner.

A unique historical property

This is a unique residence that embodies the history of the Traverse City State Hospital albeit with the modern amenities you would expect. The pictures in the listing are an accurate portrayal of the historical look of the interior and the decor is very well done. Furniture was comfortable, but the bed was a bit small. The unit has a Roku tv and the internet worked well. It is located near the center of the Grand Traverse Commons and the Mercado / restaurants are just a short walk away. The communication with the property manager was excellent. You should be aware that downtown Traverse City and the beaches are best reached by car from this location. Staying here was a novel experience compared to the many generic condos all over the city.

Beautiful condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. It was spotless and had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Our host was very responsive and made the check in process easy with her detailed instructions. The location was perfect with easy access to everything on our list. My husband and i highly recommend staying here and definitely plan on returning on our next trip to Michigan.

Amazing condo on historic property! Beautiful unit a short walk away from two amazing Italian restaurants and a winery! Sally is an outstanding host and very responsive. Can’t wait to go back!

Authentic experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unique location. Be sure to take a tour of the property and you'll appreciate the rooms even more. We were able to use the living room as a second bedroom and still had enough room, There's plenty to do in and around the Villages and we stayed busy and engaged for several days!

Perfect place, just outside of downtown TC

Amazing condo on the grounds of the former state hospital. We ran the Bayshore and it was a perfect landing spot. Highly recommend !

Perfect place to visit

This is our second time visiting. Location is great. Enjoying shopping, dining, wonderful bakery for our morning coffee. The condo is very clean and well equipped. The owner is great to work with. You will not regret your stay.

The apartment is just perfect. Perfect location for getting around the tc area and also for exploring the commons. We had the best week on our vacation and coming back to a comfortable apartment each day had a lot to do with it! Would stay again!!!!

Unique and Comfortable Historical Spot in Traverse City

Great little condo in the former state hospital development. Very cozy and comfortable condo on the top floor of the building, nicely decorated with good towels and other necessities. The whole complex is fascinating, a mix of neat historical buildings with some great restaurants, coffee shop, winery, brewery and interesting shops, all within a short walk. Check in and out was super easy. Would stay again!
