Great vacation rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental unit was just like the description. The view of the beach was excellent from the porch and bedroom. Clean, plenty of beds, great kitchen that had everything we needed. The A/C worked great, plenty of hot water. It was so easy to walk to the beach and the covered parking was an extra bonus. I would recommend this unit and I look forward to my next visit.

Good Location - Interior needs some cleaning

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great for a family get away. However the bathrooms, doors & baseboards need some cleaning as they are poorly maintained. The shower curtain in the master needs better rings and a new shower curtain. There was something smeared on the guest bedroom door. The club house listed a ping pong table, air hockey & foosball, which we all love to play as a family, but we never used them due to their poor condition and missing pieces needed to play. I'm choosing not to recommend this property due to the cleanliness. We never sat on the sofas or chair. :(

The condo has a view of the gulf, although the beach is somewhat obstructed by the dunes. They have a private boardwalk with close proximity to the beach. The pool is very nice and it’s heated.

The condo itself is decorated nicely and has a well-equipped kitchen, two separate bedrooms AND bathrooms, and a large TV. The complex has a large, very nice pool and grills, which we used almost every night. Check in/out was very easy. We loved our stay here and will book this condo with Port A Escapes again!

Rocky start to a great stay.

Overall we had an enjoyable stay. The check-in process was disorganized. The keys were not left in the lock box so we were unable to enter the property. It took about an hour to get it all sorted. Josh, who delivered the keys was great. The property was clean, quiet, and private. The kids had a great time in the rec room. It was a great way for them to still have fun while escaping the sun for a bit.

I would not book your condo again because 6 young men moved in above us. They were extremely loud.

I called the office, they told me to call the police. I wasn't there to police the place. Also, we had to avoid walking directly to the deck because the floor was about to fall in.

The location was great. But. The photos from the listing VS the actual home was extremely disappointing. From the air vents being rusty and dusty and everyone having a cough now to the toilet paper shoved in the ceiling in the bathroom it was not what we were expecting. They do not treat this like a normal short term rental, there was no salt and pepper for cooking, no more than 1 towel per person and absolutely no extra blankets if someone wanted to sleep on the couch. When renting. Short term rental most of these items end up becoming normal so it was disappointing not to have some of the basics and having to buy them from the store ourselves. The MOST disappointing aspect was 1 towel per person for a 3 night / 4 day stay. And when I messaged requesting more towels I was left on read. I’d never stay here again and I encourage you to look elsewhere too! There’s too many rentals in the area to deal with lack of communication from the host and lack of effort for the owners to make this a better experience. 1) give more towels 2) respond when messaged 3) change the vents and clean the air filter vent 4) fix the holes in the ceiling

Cute condo but needs some attention

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 502- Union arrival initial impression was good. Cute decor and appeared clean. We were aware that Beachhead is an older but updated establishment, however there were about 5 “spot spots” in the floor, holes in the wall around shower curtain rods, and pet peeve ... the master bathtub wasn’t clean, even had hair left in the drain. We didn’t complain to the office because it wasn’t a deal breaker. The property grounds themselves are beautiful and the booking process was seemless. Master bed is extremely firm. Minimal view of the beach from the balcony due to the dunes. However, Weith this unit you’re just a few steps from the boardwalk, playground pool and game room. Overall it served its purpose. But if you’re looking for something a little more modern or an updated condo I’d look elsewhere.

Furnishings newAnd clean. Bathrooms are super small, but pictures show that up front. Overall decent rental. One downside was that they keys would not work in either lock on the door, nor would the striker latch the door. When we arrived late we struggled to get the door open for 20 minutes and finally jiggled it enough to get it open. We called maintenance the next day (directions given in brochure: on property office is on the hill (??)). The door was fixed, but it’s the kind of issue you would expect. When the unit was updated, perhaps locks/latches should have been too?

A Winter Texan Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the weather didn’t always cooperate, we enjoyed our stay at Beach Head in Port Aransas. The condo was very comfortable. We enjoyed the convenience of walking down to the beach and the on-site pool (although the pool wasn’t always as warm as we would have liked). The only complaint we had regarding our condo was regarding the lack of sufficient cutlery for eating and how mismatched it is. We love Port Aransas!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the condo was dated; bathrooms very small but it served it's purpose. Clean. Biggest disappointment was lack of balcony access (under repair). Had a major rainstorm just prior so retrieving items from from car was difficult. Beach access was wonderful! One thing I would ask for is a short list cleaning items available. I didn't check every closet/drawer/etc. so I ended up purchasing some items (dishwasher soap, etc) and then later found it.

Beach head condos

Condo was great, reeked of insecticide but...absolutely no roaches. That makes me happy...I do wish we had been warned of the flooded parking area. We would have been better prepared.

UT was nice and clean but the beds were horrible, like sleeping on a board! Balcony closed so no where to sit for morning coffee outside. I will never book a place with guests above either!! To much noise. At least it was clean!!

Mother daughter trip

My daughter ages 23 and 19 and I had a great time here. Great location to everything. Check in and check out we’re super easy. The condo was clean and well set up. Will be back.
