The house was great for our family of 4 adults, 3 kids, and 3 dogs (the listing has a limit of one but I contacted the host and for a fee the other two pups were allowed). The house was as described and felt like staying at a relative’s home - cute and comfy. It was nice to have two living rooms to split up when needed. We held many family air hockey tournaments and while we brought a lot of our own games, there were great options at the house too. We were there to celebrate NYE and try out some snow sports at Gunstock for the first time. The quick drive to the resort was great and the location meant we also caught some fireworks over the lake from the deck. We reached out to the owner with some questions about the house and he was responsive. They also left out some snacks, water, and some pantry items which were much appreciated. The hot tub was a draw and was a nice evening activity for the adults. Future guests should know: The main bedroom had great views. Two others face the street and the fourth is in the basement. While there were some shower towels and we brought hot tub towels per instructions, we’d recommend bringing some wash clothes and dish towels - (maybe we missed them, we didn’t ask.)Overall a great stay for a comfy winter getaway for family and friends visiting Gunstock!
