Welcome to Haney Hideaway, located in the Broadmoor neighborhood. We are in a perfect location to explore all that Colorado Springs has to offer including; Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, The Broadmoor, Downtown Colorado Springs, Old Colorado City, and The Airforce Academy. Great hiking like Seven Falls, the Manitou Incline and Cheyenne Mountain Canyon.

The Apartment:
Our newly remodeled studio basement apartment, with private entrance and patio includes; full kitchen, queen bed, a sofa sleeper, full bath with tub/shower combo, washer and dryer, Outdoor grill for BBQing your favorite meals, and a cozy wicker couch next to a fire pit you're sure to make memories around. The Broadmoor neighborhood is known for spotting wildlife, so keep your eyes open and enjoy.

Beautiful Get Away!

So nice to have a jumping off point that was comfortable, clean and homey. We loved bringing our dog and enjoying the little walks around the neighborhood.

Home Away From Home

This beautiful spot is rightfully named “Haney Hideaway”. We had everything we needed and then some! The location couldn’t have been any better because it is accessible to everything in the area but we also looked forward to returning to the Hideaway to spend the evening relaxing on the great patio space while listening to nature. When we are back in the area we hope they have an opening!

Loved the stay

Just can’t find much but superlatives to say. Clean and well decorated. All the essentials were provided and a snack basket. Comfy bed. Darling patio. The room is attached to the house so we heard our hosts muffled conversations and the dog barking.

Great stay!

We loved this Vrbo! Very clean and thoughtfully stocked. Nice family…they live upstairs but we had plenty of privacy. Matt and Whitney made the check in very seem less and easy. They provided lots of info on the city, such as things to do and places to eat. We felt very comfortable there and would definitely stay at Haney Hideaway again.

Haney Hideaway

We stayed 6 nights to enjoy the Colorado Springs and surrounding area! Perfect location! The basement apartment was exactly as it shows online. Very updated and nice to stay in. The bed was very comfortable. In a nice neighborhood and close to many restaurants. We would definitely recommend it!

Perfect place!

We loved loves staying here! It had everything you could nees or want and it was so clean and beautiful! Quiet Neighborhood and so close to everything we wanted to go do. Matt was so great with helping us decide on food places and finding good fireworks in the area. We couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be back!

Amazing place!

We stayed here for 5 weeks and it was wonderful! The area is very close to the mountains as well as downtown. The space is very functional and well stocked. Matt and Whitney are great and very helpful! I very much recommend this place.

Gorgeous studio in a wonderful location

I loved staying here. Everything about this studio was perfect. The kitchen was large and well stocked, better than any vrbo I have stayed in. The bed was extremely comfortable and the decor was charming. The space had ample room for two people. The neighborhood was beautiful and just minutes drive to shopping, restaurants and the Broadmoor where my husband was attending a conference. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Colorado Springs.

Weekend Getaway

Matt and Whitney are the ultimate hosts! They are very welcoming, accommodating, and responsive. The property is very well appointed, decorated, and clearly well taken care of. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood, close to many of Colorado Springs lovely amenities. We’ve stayed there several times now and will continue to do so when we’re looking for a fun weekend getaway!

Needed a place to rest and pray.

I had issues getting inside the apartment and I was able to get in contact with Matt. Wednesday night until Thursday night was great! My husband was unable to join me due to what is currently going on in Israel. I was able to get rest, made sure that my husband was okay and pray in peace. Thursday night until Friday night, the owners proceeded to stomping over my head, their child screaming and yelling through the floor. That Friday morn ing, one of the owners stank the apartment down with a stench of garlic. I had to have a fan on during remainder of the time, flaring up my allergies from the outdoor pollens, smoke, and dust. Though apparently, the owners assumed that I was Muslim, or because I was African American, the owners decided to end my stay like this. I served this country for twenty years, I am a non -practicing Catholic, my husband is an American Israeli. I would have loved to have been able to be in peace. The place itself was beautiful! A welcome basket awaited us.....it could have been a wonderful stay.

This stay was amazing!! It’s in the PERFECT location! The hosts helped and gave recommendations on where to go. They were so nice and accommodating! The home is just like the pictures, if not better. It has everything you could possibly need and it was nice to be able to wash our clothes before we flew back. Will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to Colorado Springs.

Strong Dog Pee Smell

The entire basement apartment that is attached to the main home with the owner living there during our stay smelled so strongly of dog urine it was unbearable.
