Spring Break Group Getaway

Location is perfect! House has tons of room, even for our group of 19. Interior is updated, and is as advertised! Exterior is becoming weathered. Pool/Spa insert had some difficulty during our stay. After Day 3, circuit breaker for spa side kept tripping. I also suspect the insert may have a slight leak. Don't worry about bringing your beach chairs, toys, bikes, etc. to this place....they've got it all waiting for you! Host communication was A. Overall, 4.5/5, we would recommend this one.

Location, Luxury and Amenities Galore!

This house was fantastic! Our extended family celebrated in January for my Mom's 80th birthday.There were plenty of seating areas, a completely furnished kitchen, 3 refrigerators, and plenty of room for the whole family. The kids loved the downstairs game room. This house was perfect for all ages - 10 - 80!

Well equiped, comfortable & fun amenities.

6 bedrooms a little misleading as the gameroom doubles as a bedroom with no closet. Great for kids but not for adults.

70th Birthday Celebration

We have a wonderful experience staying at Villa Segundo to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. With people from age 2 to 70 we all had something fun to do without ever leaving the property. We all had comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms in which to freshen up. The game room was great and the beach was just a short walk out the back door.

Fam Time

Great location! We loved having a table large enough for all of us to sit together. We have 3 who like to cook; the kitchen had everything we needed, although more small spoons would have been helpful. We bought plastic ones. Dish pantry is very well stocked. The basement fridge was helpful. We enjoyed sitting on the beach, sitting on the deck, playing games downstairs and doing table games, video games and puzzles. Pool was used daily for water aerobics and chillaxing. Main floor bedrooms are a little warm; we brought 2 tower fans and used them there. Main floor bedrooms have no hanging space or even hooks for hangers or clothing. First bathroom on main floor really needs a bench. Our senior couple loved their upstairs bedroom with the shower with grab bars. Thank you. They really did not like the sink faucet that kept turning off during use. (A few light bulbs were out or flashing. Beach side stair railing was loose. One leg of beach tent was broken from rust. Two of the beach chairs were broken. More than half the bikes had flat tires, loose seats and rust. We apologize for accidentally breaking one dinner plate and an odd size wine glass. Sorry for the late review.)

Excellent On-Beach Accomodation

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We rated this accommodation 5 overall, but it was more of a 4.5 ... not bad enough for a 4, but a bit too worn for a 5 ... and the pool is very small. Worn in what manner? Squeaky beds and doors, impossible to clean stove, broken railing on the deck (outside the kitchen on the way to the lowest level), shelf missing in the fridge, most of the supplied beach umbrellas and canopies are broken in some manner. We've stayed in some "5"s that were a step up. But you can't beat the location, view and privacy of this accommodation.

Mansion on the Beach

I highly recommend staying at this property. Every bedroom has a beautiful view of the ocean. The living areas are very spacious for bigger groups of all ages. Between the ocean, hot tub/swimming pool, game room, and TVs in each room there is plenty to do. The property manager accommodated us in checking in a little early and was quick to answer any questions. The home was clean and well stocked for cooking meals. I will definitely rent this home again.

Perfect location

This house is perfect! Large enough to hold large groups. Perfect location to the beach and the golf cart is perfect for shopping and getting to the restaurants. Everything you need and more.

We enjoyed our beachfront home. We noticed several things that needed maintenance attention. We were overall happy with our stay. We were disappointed that our hot tub did not work until 2 days before we left. If a property advertises amenities, those amenities should be working period!

Beautiful views but property needs some work

The house is huge, and the views are amazing. That said, upon arrival we had to purchase cleaning materials and spend several hours cleaning. There was fresh blood on the floors, steps and furniture. The bathroom toilets were not clean, floors had debris, and the couches had 1/2 inch of sand in between each of the cushions. The pool pump was not working and the pool was full of sand. In fairness, we did not contact anyone to correct these issues, we chose to handle the cleaning ourselves and for the first couple of days, we did not report the pool issues. Once we realized our grand daughter was not a fan of the beach, we texted the service line and two days later they had staff on site working on the pool. They spent the majority of the day working on it and we were advised not to get in until the next day due to the shock being applied. So, they did a very good job of getting the pool cleaned and running but we didnt get much time to enjoy it. Admittedly, this was partly due to us not reporting soon enough. We felt like it should have already been addressed though prior to our arrival. The other big draw back was that our family needed six "bedrooms" and six bathrooms. The home is advertised as such, but the sixth bedroom is actually the basement that has concrete floors, is very humid and resembles a college dorm. Also, doors to basement from outside did not lock. Very large house with great views and mgt responded quickly, but need to do better job having things ready

Wild weather and water

Absolutely beautiful property sitting right on the beach. Great quiet neighborhood with low traffic which was great for evening bike rides with the grands on the many bikes furnished with the property. Well stocked with beach items. Huge double refrigerator was great for our group. Kitchen was well stocked. Could possibly use a mattress or two changed out. Only had a few issues which the property manager tried to address quickly. Would have liked to use the hot tub but apparently storms knocked it out before we got there. They sent several technicians over during the week but was still busted when we left. In spite of the weather and rip surf through the week we all had a great time. Love the Pensacola area and beaches.

Big house and right on the beach!

This home was a perfect location- amazing gulf views from virtually every room and literally right on the beach. The home is large and accommodated our family reasonably well, although I would say it is a stretch that the home sleeps 30 (we had 23 and one set of adults had to sleep in the loft on the pullout sleepers). There is some updating that does need to be done including replacing some of the mattresses as others have eluded to here on VRBO reviews. I will say that Gulf Coast Getaways was extremely responsive and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. As a result we have reserved with Gulf Coast Getaways again next year given our positive experience with them this year.

Three generations 22-85

The location was great a short walk to the gulf. Making dawn and dusk walks on the beach a great fitness opportunity. The living area was great as we could all gather enjoying the view and conversation. We could all sit at one table to eat. The younger generation enjoyed the bikes one evening and we had family olympics with all the lower level games; pool,foosball, table tennis, shuffle board and Mario brothers we brought our own controllers. I was disappointed in the wifi as I thought you touted the speed in website but then sent me a message the day before to say it was spotty. Table tennis balls were too cheaply made to be useful we would bring our own next time. The spa was dirty when we got there and took two days to clear it was full of sand and nylon rope pieces about 1/2 inch long. Several door handles were hard to use . Memorial Day weekend was maybe not the weekend to come as the traffic was backed up from 4PM to 9 Plenty of pots and pans, dishes and glasses. The top tray of the dishwasher pulls out and almost dumps the cups and glasses it is missing a roller . All in all we had a wonderful time.
