Perfect Stay at Champion Ridge... Truly a Home That Has It AllOur family stayed at Alan and Julie’s beautiful home in Champion Ridge while on the Big Island for a golf tournament, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. From the moment we arrived, they were there to greet us, kind, personable, and genuinely welcoming. They gave us a thoughtful tour of the property, making sure we knew where everything was and how it worked.The house itself is stunning, spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Every detail was considered, from the kitchen stocked with a great variety of spices, oils, condiments, and bottled water ready in the refrigerator, to the abundance of towels and small touches that made it feel like home.We loved having the golf cart to explore the neighborhood and the resort area. The pool and hot tub were gorgeous, with a big basket of pool towels right by the door, and evenings around the pool table and arcade game became a highlight for our son and his golf teammates. The private putting green was such a fun and unexpected bonus.After the tournament, we stayed a few extra days, and it was the perfect sanctuary for both rest and adventure. Alan and Julie are outstanding hosts. They remembered it was our daughter's birthday and stopped by with a beautiful birthday cake. Their home is one of those rare finds that truly exceeds expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone considering the Big Island.

Wonderful 50th a celebration !

We don’t think there was a single thing we would have changed about the property,the hosts, the area, and even the weather. We utilized every amenity at the house, including the swimming pool, the pool toys, the golf cart, the pool table, the pinball machine and the beautifully stopped kitchen. It was wonderful having space to spread out with poor families under one roof. The beach club was easy to get to, had some good snorkeling and a restaurant with a bar. And snorkels and fins from the house came in really handy. We also loved playing on the two-tiered cutting green course. It was everything we hoped for and Julie and Alan we’re out outstanding hosts, on top of any questions or needs that we had.I would love to add more photos but the system won’t accept them…

5 Star Hawaiian Family Vacation Home

Our family of 13 just returned from an amazingly week at the Blue Oasis! It was just as described- spacious, stunning views, beautifully decorated, and move-in ready with all the amenities. The professional kitchen and laundry room were well-stocked and we added a single cot to each of the king bedrooms to accommodate the children.The golf cart was awesome and was used daily to get to the Beach Club, the golf course, and the local shopping area. We especially enjoyed free access to the Beach Club's private white sand beach, large shade trees, outdoor restaurant/bar, and the best snorkeling. The house was also centrally located so that we were able to experience the Kiluaeu volcano right after it erupted and the Lava Tubes, snorkel with Dolphin Discoveries (ask for Dennis, Robert, Craig) at Captain Cook's coral reef and later with the manta rays at night, enjoy a Luau and another casual outdoor oceanside sunset dinner at the Fairmont Orchid, and dolphin encounters at the Dolphin Quest at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Then always back to the house to enjoy the pool, hot tub, arcade machine, pool table, and the putting green!The property manager, Julie, was exceptional and not only provided welcome gifts, but also was quick to answer any of our questions about local activities and recommendations. The beach chairs, beach toys, and especially the beach towels were appreciated on almost every water excursion we made!We highly recommend this property and would certainly return!

A True Oasis on the Big Island

My family and friends (a group of 9) stayed at the Blue Oasis for 8 nights at the end of May. This house is incredible and aptly named as an oasis surrounded by a massive area of lava rocks typical for the west side of the Big Island. This house is perfect for a group of 10, but is also large enough to accommodate a few more on couches or cots. The master bedroom on the first floor is huge and will satisfy any VIP couple in your group, but all 4 of the other rooms are spacious and comfortable. Three of the rooms had nice views out of multiple windows and the other 2, one of which I stayed in, had a nice garden view. There are so many nice features to this house, but the best features for our large group of people with diverse interests and different schedules were as follows: 2 each of front-loading clothes washers and dryers with a large number of beach and bath towels, 2 dish washers and large collections of plates, bowls, and glasses, 2 large refrigerator/freezers, ample counter space for food preparation, a moderate-size outdoor grill, a pool table and game machine to play while waiting around for the ones who take forever to get ready to go out, access to a golf cart which can take you to a nearby grocery store and to a private beach club with a nice beach and bar/restaurant, an upstairs deck with great views, and a first-level outdoor space with a heated pool, a whirlpool, and reclining deck chairs and 2 large umbrellas, free parking and wi-fi. Fantastic hosts, too.

Perfect for our family

Beautifully maintained and well equipped property in a great location on the South Kohala coast. We love to snorkel so made use of access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club almost every day. We chartered a boat with Sea Quest to take us to Capt. Cook's monument for snorkeling. Everyone loved it! The family of four booked the manta ray night dive and were thrilled with the experience. Some made the drive to Volcanoes National Park and had a great day there. The Mauna Lani golf course made the golfers happy. And everyone had fun using the golf cart.The house was truly perfect for our family (8 adults and two kids age 10 and 11). Five bedrooms each with en suite bathroom made everyone super comfortable. The pool and hot tub were used every day. Upper level was our happy gathering place, especially the deck with a view of palm trees over the rooftops and Mauna Kea volcano in the distance. We cooked most meals at home and found everything we needed and more in the well equipped kitchen. Julie, the property manager, could not have been more welcoming. She was readily available for questions and quickly responded to a couple of minor things that needed attention. Five stars on all accounts. This was a truly memorable and special vacation for our family. We would definitely stay here again if we return to this area.

On the edge of the lava fields

Beautiful house and property. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the pool table. House could use a little maintenance, a few things broken, window’s that didn’t open because the handle was missing, etc. Property manager was very responsive and helpful.

Wonderful experience!

My husband and I took 3 of our kids, their spouses and 6 of our grandkids to the big island and stayed at the blue oasis. It was an amazing house with tons of space. The kitchen was awesome and had excellent appliances, an abundance of dishware and glassware and all the necessities to cook meals. The fact that there were 3 sinks, two dishwashers and two refrigerators was super helpful for a group of our size. There were two washers and dryers that were used regularly. Pool towels and toys were available as well as a huge assortment of beach supplies. The golf cart was awesome for trips to the market area and the beautiful beach. The property manager was quick to respond to anything we needed and they worked to meet our needs This house served as a wonderful place for a truly memorable experience for our family vacation!

Amazing place with privacy. Plenty of room and a wonderful layout for extended family and large group. You may want to let people know that it is a 30/40 minute drive to any of the tourist attractions such as swimming with Manta Rays etc.

Best Vacation Ever

This property was well suited for our extended family of 13. Everyone was able to have their own bed. The kitchen was well equipped. The younger children used the pool nonstop. The beach access was perfect and snorkeling was a big hit. It was close to Blue Hawaiian Helicopter and shopping. Location was excellent. House was well maintained and we felt safe in the gated community. The owner worked with us on a few special requests. Property management responded quickly to take care of a small concern. WE LOVED OUR STAY

Beautiful property with a few misses

The property was beautiful and we enjoyed the pool, the hot tub and the spa's. The property manager was always available. However the property was a little dated with drawers that fell out of their position onto the floor, sinks that clogged, and an alarm system that was stuck displaying a fire condition. The rooms did not have adequate drawer or closet space for a 2 week stay for 10 people (except the Master). The air conditioning was definitely in need of some help due to inadequate controls. There is not, contrary to the listing, an air conditioner in every bedroom as the "Second Master" that I stayed in had no thermostat and was controlled by the kitchen so it never hot the right temperature. While the property manager worked hard to get us equipment for infants and todddlers, the property presented a problem for very small children because of the open stairway and the steps in the middle of the downstairs living area. Overall, its a great preoperty but it needs a facelift if it expects to maintain the 5 star status.

Fantastic location and accurate listing

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Oasis. The property's location is very good and the layout was perfect for our family - bathrooms associated with each bedroom and plenty of space. The double dishwashers and washing machines/dryers were very handy for our group. The kids loved the pool and the nearby beaches, and our visit was very enjoyable overall. Our only criticisms would be that the house could use a deep clean, and a walkthrough for necessary maintenance. All in all, had a great time, and are grateful for having chosen Blue Oasis as our place to stay with our family!

Great home for a large family reunion

The property has a great floor plan and is well equipped. We appreciated all the water toys, beach equipment, backstock of kitchen and bath supplies and laundry facilities. Beds were clean and comfortable and Wendee, the property manager, was amazingly responsive to our needs. For future guests, you might think about adding some kid-friendly dishware (plastic bowls & plates, etc) to avoid any potential accidents. We would definitely consider this house again in the future.

Wonderful family vacation

This was a wonderful property for our family to vacation in. It had everything we needed. A pool, a hot tub, a pool table, and enough space for people to spread out or be together for game nights. The house was beautiful. The rooms were large enough to fit family members that had children. They were quick to respond and accommodating with everything that we needed. The bonus was a wonderful kid - friendly beach minutes away. We would definitely book again!

Beautiful home!

Our family of 10 adults and 5 children 8 and under had a fabulous time at this home! More than enough bedrooms and bathrooms to give us each our separate areas and come together for meals, games and family time. Plan on returning ASAP!

Anniversary time with family

The house is prefect for a large group. Everyone had their own space and bathroom. The pool area is very private and entertaining areas are big enough for a large group. We are a family of 11 and house served us well. Our teen age grand daughters loved the golf cart at added plus.

Golden Wedding Celebration

This was fabulous. Plenty of space for lots of time together and also private spaces for each of us. The home, private pool, golf cart, beach club, athletic club, ice makers, BBQ grills, putting greens and beautiful views made this a perfect celebration for all of us.

Fantastic stay

Great time had by all - we had 10 adults, 2 kids - celebrating birthdays, retirements and engagements. House was perfect for such a mix of age ranges - lots of space to gather and also quiet bedrooms to let people have space. Wendee and Paul were wonderful - minor problem when we checked in that both responded to within minutes.

Excellent stay

Great for a 8-10 person family or friends stay. Very close to Mauna Lani and only 10 minutes to Mauna Kea. Lovely pool, plenty of room to socialize, good views. Would visit the Blue Oasis again in a second!

A mixed stay.

The location was great. All five bedrooms were spaced ,which is good for privacy. What was disappointing , the main refrigerator was at room temperature ,the golf cart was in bad shape, steering and brakes.

Truly a beautiful Blue Oasis

Truly a Paradise! House was perfect layout for family. Privacy and your own bathroom and TV for each bed Bedrooms separate from living areas. Pool and hot tub heated to desired temperature and plenty of outdoor balconies for private time and views of the volcanoes. Mauna Lani resort and beach are gorgeous. Some sandy beach and some black lava rocky beach. Saw sea turtles hanging out and then swimming back out back to sea. Nature at it’s best. 😍 Views of Hawaii landscape are great. You can actually see the ocean on one area of the balcony. Blue Oasis is in a very convenient location, beautifully decorated and many amenities. Owner went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Great for family reunions

Amazing house and great location - perfect for our extended family holiday

This property is beautiful, with room for our extended family of 11 (including 3 children under 5 years old), and in a beautiful location. The travel from Boston was long so we wanted a place to call home for 10 days, and this was perfect. House and amenities were great, and the pool was a big hit with all. Location within the Mauna Lani Resort was so convenient and we took advantage of the local beach and surroundings. Paul (owner) and Wendee (Property Manager) were very responsive. They helped us plan our trip with recommendations for local activities. Wendee coordinated rental equipment for our infants (pack and play, high chair), and met our food delivery the first night as we were getting there very late. She was also responsive to issues that arose during the week. Overall, great experience and I would highly recommend this property.
