We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was very well appointed, clean, and comfy. Great location in walking distance to all the fun Cape May activities. Owner is very responsive. Love this house!

Beautiful getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the starfish cottage! Everything was clean, comfortable and incredibly accommodating. The cottage had everything we needed and the hosts thought of everything to ensure our stay was stress free. The neighborhood was great and was only a short walk to the beach. We will definitely be renting this home again in the future!

Such a lovely place in Cape May

The house is wonderful! The floor plan is great and everything so clean and well stuffed (including beach passes, gears, pristine kitchen...) . We had such a great time the 8 of us (2 families). Thank you and hope to be back soon.

Great place in West Cape May

We love the house. This was our third year renting the house and it always delivers. Very clean and well stocked. The beach box is a big plus, adding to the convenience. The location is wonderful for us, with a short walk to shops and restaurants. We highly recommend it.

Exceeded expectations

The house was even more amazing than we expected. It was large and spacious, and each bedroom had its own full bathroom which was so nice. The host was so nice. Would definitely come back!

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great time at Starfish Cottage. It’s a lovely, well appointed home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beautifully decorated. The layout is great for a family both inside and out. Convenient to town and the beach. Kitchen is well equipped for staying in. Great board games selection, too. Check in was a breeze and Chris was easily reached for any questions. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay in West Cape May

This home is beautifully well-maintained, tastefully decorated and very spacious! It’s a short walk to the mall. We enjoyed an easy bike ride to Subset beach, Beach Plum Farm, and the Willow Creek Winery. The mosquitoes were a nuisance but the screened in porch allowed us to still enjoy the outdoors after a fun day at the beach. Finally, the owners are friendly and very responsive. We highly recommend this property!!!

Clean, bright and welcoming

Often photos make it seem like a home is nicer than it is.. this was spot on. Beautiful home, clean and bright. Everything you could possibly want including board games, beach items, etc. The owners are so sweet and accommodating.

Great house in a great location!

We had such a fantastic stay here. We travelled with young kids (0, 1, 2, 3, 4) and the house was very well equipped. It was in the perfect location, an easy walk to town or the beach. The main living area was away from the bedrooms and mostly enclosed for the very little ones. The yard wasn’t fully fenced but was enclosed by beautiful landscaping. The whole house was clean and comfortable. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer and sent us everything we needed to know ahead of time to help with planning. One of the highlights was how well equipped the house was. They provided family games, a high chair, two wood rollaway cribs, a stroller, beach chairs, beach toys, a wagon, etc. Would definitely stay again!

Nice Stay in West Cape May

Just finished a great week in West Cape May. This was the first time we stayed in West Cape May. The owners have thought of everything. House and beach box was stocked with everything you could want. This is our 10th year in Cape May and this house had the best beach equipment we’ve had at a house. Everything was in great condition. House was very clean. The only draw back for our group was the location. The description was accurate so no one’s fault. We typically stay closer to beach and in Cape May city (proper). With young kids in our group (10,9, 8 and 6), it was a little too far to walk. Adults could to it. Just found ourselves driving a lot; something we are not used to when down there. Rent a golf cart is also an option; just plan on reserving ahead of time. Again, the description is very accurate so can’t fault anyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation recommending to someone look for a house in West Cape May.

Wonderful Visit at Starfish Cottage

My family and I had a wonderful visit at Starfish Cottage. The house is beautiful, comfortable and spacious and it had everything we needed. We had a great time relaxing in the house, and the kids had fun catching up with their cousins, playing games and enjoying each other’s company, The owner was very easy to communicate with and got back to us right away with any questions we had,. The house is in a great walkable neighborhood and we really enjoyed being able to walk to the farmer’s stand, the French Bakery and the Farmer’s Market. My son also loved the fire station which is right around the corner. We loved our stay and we really hope to come back again next year!!

Perfect Cape May Getaway

Beautiful home, very clean, well-stocked and spacious. Only a 10 - 15-minute walk to town and beaches; short drive to bay. Very polite and friendly owners ~ Back yard was open with plenty of room for backyard games. Perfect location for beach vacation.

Great experience

I had a wonderful extended weekend at the Starfish Cottage with friends. For many of us, it was our first time to Cape May, and we loved the beautiful town and wonderful beach. The Starfish Cottage was the perfect place to stay. Check-in was straightforward and easy, and the house was exactly as described in the listing. It was such a bonus to have beach equipment available. It was also in walking distance not only to the beach, but to great restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. The outdoor landscaping in the front and back yards was very nice to enjoy. We can't thank Chris and Jackie enough for our stay.

Great Family Vacation House

The place was just as described. I was impressed by how well stocked it was. It had everything needed for a great family vacation. The listing photos actually don't do justice to how lovely the interior is. The backyard and firepit area were gorgeous with really lush landscaping.

Beautiful home

Totally enjoyed our stay. This doesn't feel like a vacation rental, when you walk into this beautiful, welcoming home. There is plenty of room for everyone. Everything is there that you will need to enjoy your stay. Love that each bedroom has its own en suite. We loved every minute and hated to leave.

You can believe the hype

This property lived up to the glowing reviews left by previous guests - the house is fantastic and the entire rental experience was, too. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished, and has every convenience you’ll ever need. (Even an electric tea kettle!) The backyard is fabulous - love the fire pit setting. The location is outstanding, too - easily walk to the farmstand, coffee house and French bakery, and ride your bike to the beach. The communication with owner Chris before, during and after my stay was excellent. So glad we chose to stay here and I’m sure anyone else would be, too.

Perfect Getaway

Just spent 5 nights at the Starfish Cottage and couldn’t have been happier with our experience! The home and property are beautifully maintained, very clean and very comfortable. The house is stocked with everything you could need from kitchen supplies to family board games to beach equipment. The location is excellent - we biked everywhere. The owners are so responsive and make everything very easy. We would return in a heartbeat!

Impeccable Location

This house is pretty spacious, and its layout is ideal. All the furniture, including the beds, are good quality. The best part of this house is its location! It was so easy to go anywhere major in Cape May.

Beautiful & comfortable

This house was one of the best rentals I’ve ever experienced. It is beautiful, convenient, comfortable, and spacious. The home is fully stocked - I’ve never quite seen so many details taken care of, from games to spices to detergent and first aid supplies. The owners were incredibly responsive and the process was made simple. The place was clean and tidy and there was so much to enjoy in Cape May- even during our winter/pandemic stay. Highly recommended!
