Amazing!!

My family and I stayed this past weekend and we LOVED IT couldn’t be more please with the property it’s self, it was super clean and nice and the kitchen was on point it had a lot of pots and pans you would need to cook with, and not to mention the pool was pretty awesome it felt just like home. The management was awesome hands down overall this is a great place to stay! I would highly recommend it for everyone.

Good accomodations

The property was very clean. Very good/safe neighborhood. Kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was nice, but more chemicals than I like. Recommend you take some type of streaming device for TV. Overall I would recommend.

Garden Oaks

This property is so cute but has so much more to offer.. The house is very nice but could use some upgraded kitchen pots & pans. I absolutely love the pool but feel it has so much more potential.. A nice grill and patio furniture would make this area so relaxing. Love the neighborhood and location! I would stay again!

Houston Getaway

The home was a perfect 3 bedroom home. It was an easy 20 minute drive from all of the fun places to visit downtown. The garage made parking easy. The house was clean and having two living rooms gave the kids spaces to separate and enjoy quiet time. The pool was amazing, there were a few pool toys available and the kids had a blast swimming every night after our daily adventures. Overall it was a great experience, and I would stay again!

Nice vacation rental

Overall, the house was very nice. There were a few disappointments. * The water and ice dispensers did not work in the refrigerator. I called to report the issue but never received a response. * The pool was nice, but the pool skimmer net and pole were not available as I had been told. We had to scoop leaves out of the pool by hand. Since it was very windy during our stay, a lot of leaves gathered on the pool surface.

It’s an ok house

Check in was pretty horrible. We had to wait on the cleaning lady for about 30 mins even though it was already checkin time. The house was full of dog hair! Like every where. It look like the cleaning lady didn’t even mop. We tried to look for a vacuum to some what clean the dog hairs but they didn’t even have that! The house itself needs a lot of work. The kitchen cabinets were so annoying! They don’t even close well… the list goes on..just don’t waste your money on this property. Find somewhere else . Only good thing was the pool.

Lovely pool, close to everything, very clean but could use a few changes.

First of all we really liked this property & the pictures are accurate. The house was very clean & near everything we needed. The neighborhood was very quiet. The pool was amazing to have & our kids had a blast. Beds were pretty comfortable & fit our family of 5 just fine. Enormous closet space was a bonus. Now things we would add or change... More towels (6 were provided for bathing, but if a pool is provided I think swim towels would be nice). There should be a TV in the living area or should be moved to the living area. 5 of us were trying to fit on a chair & loveseat while a huge couch was in the other room. Coffee should always be a staple in a rental (even a small amount) & there was none. Cheap plastic cups, plates & bowls would be great to have for kids. These are all very easy changes that would make a stay here more practical. Overall we had a great stay at this property!

Cumbersome booking process for unimpressive stay

The booking process and general condition of the home were ultimately the major influences on this rating that I gave this property. The pool was very nice and clean and the beds were comfortable, redeeming an otherwise less than stellar booking. The booking process through buzz vacation properties felt like I was entering a 1-year lease. I have never had to go through such an intensive process to book a home share property - and I am not new to this. I guess it's possible that this is the first time that I have booked a home share that was managed by a property management firm as opposed to the homeowner. Either way, this could be a lot simpler. The age of the home was clear and was in a state of disrepair. Doors inside the home did not close properly. The door between the garage and house did not lock. We discovered a leak in the sink when we were washing dishes (which the property manager was prompt to address). Like with the booking process, the condition of the home and the requirement to reach out for basic upkeep concerns felt like we were in an apartment lease rather than a vacation home. The WiFi was spotty and went out for at least half a day at one point. We found this frustrating as we were not truly on a vacation. We are hurricane evacuees. My wife was working remotely as well as working on her doctoral courses while our daughter was doing online schoolwork. These were both interrupted by poor WiFi. While the property managers were once again quick to respond to these concerns, I does not change that we had these disruptions when we rented this property expressly so that we would have consistent WiFi. This was by no means a nightmare stay. All in all, I would say it was a refreshing getaway from our hurricane ravaged home. I would have just preferred to have to deal with any of these extra difficulties when everything else in our life is chaos. A simple booking process and a home that was as advertised would have provided just a bit of order. This is where Buzz failed.

Bad experience

The home started off good nice size but the towels were dirty I was not able to use the pool it was dirty and had items from trash in it. One day there was a loose wild dog in the backyard area so I wasn’t able to use the backyard at all that day. I encountered several lizards in the home even though the private oasis clearly state no pets or animals. I was never connected to a property manager just kept being told no one was available until 4/12/2022

Cozy pool house

Wanted to stay somewhere local to visit my son who is stationed at Ft Polk. It was exactly what we expected. We had a great time. Services and attentiveness during our stay was perfect. Felt like I was home. Some of the furniture could use a little upgrading. There is always room for a little improvement. Be sure to bring bug spray. Bugs are crazy this time of year. Pool serviced every week. Would stay there again.

Home was as pictured

This home was just as described and it was exactly what my lil family needed for a last minute get together before my brother is deployed out of the country. The home was clean and so was the pool. If I could make a suggestion and the only reason why I deducted a star is the bed in the master bedroom was very very uncomfortable. When you moved the springs would pop on you and I very loud. I had to sleep on the couch unfortunately.

Don’t stay here

Thought I found a nice place for the family to stay, instead we found mosquitos, spiders, and ants in the house. A broken bed, with used (empty) baby oil and q tips at the headboard, moldy entertainment/ game boards, sticky floor and counters that we cleaned ourselves. We quickly opted out and the lovely hosts “refunded” our stay but altered the price of our one night in their nasty bungalow to make up for it. Close to a thousand dollars for a one night stay!? You can find a better place, heed my warning and just look at elsewhere. We ended up staying downtown in a hotel for more nights and less cost. And we didn’t have to deal with a bit of the traffic that we had to deal with on night one staying here. Oh, also they gave multiple check on codes for the door, even days in advance, then called day of with a different code, and texted a code to check in and the correct code was the one that was sent days earlier so who knows how many people had used that code and the communication is poor and confusing. Not impressed at all. Disappointed enough to say don’t use vrbo, just find a hotel. You’ll be better off.

Good overall

We had a few issues at first but property manager was always available and very helpful. The house is close to stores and restaurants. The pool is a bit small but it was fun. Over all good stay.

Like a Beach House in the City or a House You had in College

First off, let me say that Sierra was SUPER responsive and attentive. You really can’t get better attention than what she gave us before, during, and after the trip. She was honestly fantastic. I appreciated that! The best way I can describe the property is like a beach house or a house that you had in Austin in college. It was nothing fancy, but it was comfy for sure. There was an ant issue in the kitchen, which we told Sierra about right away. We didn’t want that to be blamed on us. That being said, you could smell that the place had been cleaned, so it could be just..ya know, it’s summer and they like to come inside during storms. They had spray that we used and it handled the problem. I was just a little put off by it because I get welts when I am bitten, but like I said, the spray worked and we didn’t see any after about 20 minutes. I don’t feel like the pictures do the pool justice. It’s a lot bigger than it looks and they do have pool furniture that can be put out on request. It was a quiet neighborhood, so we felt safe. It was perfect for celebrating one night of freedom from kids & two birthdays. All of us said we’d stay there again! Great deal for the money!!

Our son turned 13 this week and he wanted a house with a pool in Texas with great internet. The Oasis served us very well. Management was quick to respond with any questions. Great time!

Cannot recommend

There were many problems I encountered while staying at the property with my family. It starts about a day or two before you actually check-in, you’ll get an email asking for all the the names of all the guest that will be staying the night. Then they will ask for the names and ages of all the guest that will be visiting the property. Then they will try to weasel more money from you if they think you are having too many guest due to extra energy and water consumption. The house it’s self is decent aside from the mismatched cheap furniture. The 2 recliners in the front room were broken and didn’t recline. The bed in the master bedroom was broken. All the curtain rods in the house were bent. There were scuff all through out the house on the walls. The refrigerator didn’t work until the repair man came on the last night we were there and was there for 4 hours while we had family over trying to entertain before we left. When we reported the refrigerator as broken the first person came out at 8 o’clock at night looked at it for about 10 minutes said yep it’s broken and left us with a styrofoam cooler and two bags of ice. The cooler was so small it barely held a gallon of milk and a half gallon of creamer and half of one of the 8 pound bags of ice. We had to throw out most of the groceries we had bought. The pool was nice if you didn’t mind the occasional ant bite from the many ant mounds in the yard.

Clean house, nice neighborhood

Property was clean, managed very well. Nice residential neighborhood. Convenient to anything required for daily living. :) Not far from downtown attractions, 45 minutes from Space Center. Host very accommodating.
