My family absolutely loves this place, we have stayed at Lake Gaston Lodges multiple times over the years. It’s so easy to access the lake and it’s so quiet that you almost feel like you have the whole place to yourself. The owners are so friendly and always greet their guests and make sure you have everything you need. We just love spending the day at the lake and building camp fires in the evening. Our family will for sure be back again!

Pre-School Start Get Away

Thanks for a great escape for my daughter prior to school restarting. She had a very relaxing time, just what she needed. Very pleasant environment, great for reading and some relaxing before heading back to the classroom for another school year. God Bless our teachers!

Fishing trip

Everything was just as advertised. The cabins are small but have everything you need. It was very clean, and every question we had was answered quickly. The property is well kept and had an old time personality. Directions were great and it was easy to find. We fished Lake Gaston and had brought a boat. We didn't get a chance to try fishing in the stocked pond on the property but it looked very fishy and it was well taken care of, with freshly mowed lawn right up to the shoreline(very accessible, a place where kids could easily fish from) the boat ramp, for the lake, was extremely close by and is a good ramp for any sized boat and ample parking. The cabin had a directory they have made with instructions for checkout, maps, and many nearby places of interests, including restaurants, shopping, churches and more. We couldn't have been more satisfied, as it was just what we needed: a comfortable place to sleep, shower, grad a cup of coffee and go fishing!

No communication on how to check in and which cabin.

Rustic cabin. Did have a/c and running water. Furniture needs to be updated. Sofa broke, and mattress in poor shape.

Fishing, Boating

Basic cabin, did not have tv or stove oven but did have microwave., fridge, coffee maker. There was a moderate walk to boats and access to water to fish. Grounds were well maintained.

Five day get away.

With two boys 10 &. 5 it was a great place to get away. Swimming and fishing on the Lake, camp fire, hiking was just what we needed.

Lake get away

Perfect time with grandkids, swimming all day in the lake. Campfire, s’mores and long walks in the woods.

Peaceful and comfortable

Property was located at the end of a quiet cove of the lake. No WiFi or TV which is nice if your looking to get away from it all. Covered boat slip was nice and just a short walk from the cabin area.
