2nd stay just as great!

Janet is the perfect host and the house is a great find. Great communication with the owners. Very clean and extremely well stocked with anything you may need. Great friendly neighbors. Easy location to get to everything you would like to do. Level ground , no high mountain roads . I Felt it was fair to say how good this place is but really want it to be available for my next time !

Wonderful property

My good friend and I needed a girls trip. Husband retired.. This house is large compared to others I have rented. Large enough for a 3rd friend to join us for a few days. Very clean, extremely well equipped. Location is perfect . And neighbor Bill is a gem. Very safe area, very quiet area. Owner, Janet is very responsive and very professional to deal with. Can’t wait to return.

Home away from home

We loved our stay. Everything was exactly as listed. Fireplace, games, Christmas decorations. We walked by the lake, visited the National Park and cities nearby. Awesome. Janet was always one text away to help us with any questions. Thank you

Walking distance to Lake Junaluska!

Home is well appointed and has a great layout. Our family of 6 adults was very comfortable with plenty of space to lounge or play board games. Very clean, too!

A great house to enjoy the mountains!

We lacked for nothing during our week’s stay. What a clean and cheery house. The grans loved the games and the fire pit, and the adults had all the supplies needed to have a wonderful time. Lots of room for everyone!

The rental process was a breeze. Short walk to the lake. The buttered biscuit restaurant was also a short walk. easy access to Asheville and surrounding areas.

Great weekend!

My daughter, sister, and mom had a great weekend! We were on our annual getaway weekend and wanted to visit Lake Junaluska. The house was perfect for us! Super cute, clean, well decorated, and very well stocked! Everything was as described in the listing. Furniture was very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk over to the lake (and being able to walk to The Buttered Biscuit 🤣) Janet was very easy to work with and very receptive to us. Loved the special touches she included to make our trip even better!

Perfect location! Awesome house!

This was the perfect house for my family of five! Lots of room for us to spread out - living room and den but also perfect for family dinner with open kitchen and dining room. My kids really enjoyed playing and watching TV in the den. The house is well stocked with supplies and very clean! The location was perfect for my husband’s meetings at Lake Junaluska Conference center and for accessing all the recreational amenities at the lake. We look forward to staying there again on future trips!

Fun time by the fire pit!

The home was spotless and filled with everything you could ask for, in the way of supplies and comfort! We had two wonderful nights by the fire pit. Great first memories doing s’mores with our grandsons and daughter. The only downside was our daughter and grandson being frightened by a large opossum out by the fire. They were glad the neighbor let his dog out at that time. It is very dark in that part of the yard. We took lanterns the next night, that helped some. Our 3 year old grandson is into everything and we had to move several breakables to a back bedroom, and move something in front of the wifi/tv, so was not the best place for young children. The tables being glass, too, was a concern. Overall, we had a great time and hope to come, again, soon!

Wonderful stay

This was a great central location for us to explore locations such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Max Patch, Cataloochee Valley elk, and Barber Orchard. Convenient to Maggie Valley and Waynesville. Nearby Lake Junaluska was a bonus. It is very quiet location and we slept like babies. The kitchen had everything we needed for making breakfast and dinner. The owners were generous with high quality paper products, trash bags, laundry and dishwasher detergent so you don’t have to worry about running to the store to restock. The property was just as advertised and very clean. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. We look forward to returning next year.

Perfect for us!!

VERY clean!! Welcoming wine. Safe and friendly neighborhood. Good coffee selections. Comfortable beds. Roomy interior. Responsive host. A friend and I and our dogs were competing in an agility trial at the fairgrounds just seven minutes away. We look forward to staying again. It was perfect for us!!

Fun at Junaluska

What a happy surprise this house was more that we expected!! The location was great, as we were attending meetings at the conference center at Lake Junaluska. We were able to walk to everything at the conference center. We loved the spaciousness of the house and we were happily surprised to find the game room off the kitchen, which also made a cozy sitting room. the house was well stocked with all our needs. The beds were very comfy and the linens were nice as well. We even enjoyed the fire pit a couple of the nights... wood was supplied as well... they thought of everything! Becky
