This Penthouse unit has a very private setting. Enjoy this beachfront property with Penthouse ocean view.

The lanai will keep you captivated for hours. Watch the early morning dawn patrol surfers rip the Waiohai reef. Located in the Heights of the beautiful beachfront property. Short walk to the beach , pool or use unit 417 for your base to explore all Kauai has to offer. Kiahuna Planation resort is located on a 35 acre tropical garden beachfront parcel. The oversized AC unit, remodeled living area, fully equipped kitchen, and washer/dryer make this unit the total package. It is very walkable to all amenities - beach, shopping, restuarants, pool. Our PBAC membership allows our guests free access and use of the Poipu Beach Athletic club which is located across the street. PBAC has a Pool hot tub, Gym ,fitness yoga , tennis/basketball courts, pickle ball. Including the Cabana grill that serves great food and drinks. This penthouse will be at the top of your list.

Departure cleaning fee is not included in vrbo fees. Guests are required to pay Castle Resorts directly, 2026 rate is $329 includes tax. Hi Monica, Thank you for staying with us. I’m glad you mentioned during your stay that you found our condo very nice. Your visit came shortly after Hurricane Lowell, while Kiahuna Plantation and the surrounding Poipu area were still recovering. We communicated the resort conditions and ongoing cleanup before your arrival and offered you the option to cancel with a full refund. We were also happy to upgrade you to our ground-floor condo, closer to the beach, at no additional charge. Unfortunately, the hurricane caused significant damage to portions of the resort, resulting in temporary closures and ongoing restoration work. We hope you were still able to enjoy your time on Kauai despite the hurricane recovery efforts and that you’ll consider returning when Kiahuna and Poipu are back to their usual beautiful condition. The condo was exactly as described and was clean and comfortable. The a/c worked very well, and although we had some trouble getting the washer started, the property owner was very helpful and we got it going. Plenty of kitchen items for cooking, plenty of space to store things in drawers and closets, and a good location for walking across the street to the the Poipu Athletic club pool and attached restaurant. The host was exceptionally helpful and quick to communicate on any issues or questions. Had a great stay!

Brendan was very helpful from the time of booking and throughout our stay. The condo was just as described and was the perfect place for our time in Kauai. It is very close to many restaurants in Poipu. We also really enjoyed the athletic club’s pool and facilities. Would stay again!

Great place

Really nicely appointed unit with beach and pool access. Was a very nice experience overall. Would have been better if the friends had made their flight out, but at least we know where to stay next time.

The room was nice. Air conditioning good. Patio furniture could be upgraded. The blender was nice. The bath tub is very small. Bed is comfortable but head board moves when ever you get in or out of the bed. The pool and hot tub close at 7 so that was a huge bummer as we like to swim at night before bed and to use the hot tub which we could not do.

We’ll check the headboard and review the lanai furniture. The bathtub is the standard size originally designed for these classic Kiahuna Plantation condos. The pool and hot tub hours at the Poipu Beach Athletic Club are managed by the club, and many places on Kauai do tend to close a bit earlier than mainland resort destinations. We appreciate you choosing our condo and hope you enjoyed your time on the island.

The apartment was simple and well-kept, we were thankful to find something for one night, last minute, due to a scheduling mishap. Cost really adds up with taxes and cleaning fees, but this is Hawaii! Owner was courteous and quick to respond to texts. Staff was very friendly.

We live in Northern California, raising our three daughters in Eureka. We love traveling to Hawaii, Mexico and other tropical locations. I was a Maui guy until we discovered the Koloa area and in particular, Poipu beach. It is such beautiful tropical area, we loved it and bought a condo and then a few more. I enjoy renovating our condos for our future guests to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing space in our slice of paradise while exploring the Kauai and Poipu adventure.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Poipu is now, our favorite Hawaiian location! The lush grounds and tropical vegetation with a little rain yet more sunshine. It is a tropical paradise! Not a concrete jungle like most modern resorts in Hawaii. Kiahuna Plantation is a perfect place for families, fun, watersports and romance without the feeling of being over crowded. The resort is a low density development and surprisingly quiet.
Kiahuna Plantation is a very traditional Hawaiian plantation style resort with large open lawns, gorgeous tropical gardens and plantation style construction. Plenty of room to get comfortable, relax and enjoy Island time in Paradise. We especially like the fact that, Located across the street is the Poipu Beach shopping village with a Keoki's, Starbucks, Whaler’s convenience store, including bakery, Gelato – Ice Cream shop, restaurants and shopping. Poipu beach is perfect for swimming, snorkeling and surfing. The KP Beach Hut provides the beach towels and rents snorkel gear boogie boards and surf lessons and free beach chairs if needed.

Old Koloa town is located 2-3 miles away with more food establishments and shopping. The Shops at Kukui 'Ula - shopping center is 1 mile away with a Longs Drug store and many other shops and food establishments.
We usually walk along the Ocean front road, "Hoonani rd." to the shops at Kukui 'Ula. It's an Ocean frontage road that leads you to the Kukui'Ula shops. 1mile easy walk. About half way, you can Spot the turtles hanging out in the deeper water and rocks of the shoreline. Check it out for yourself.
