Estudio en la hermosa playa de Palmetto. Pasos para el muelle de la playa y el océano.

Esta casa está ubicada en un pequeño enclave cerrado de casas privadas y solo a unos 100 metros de su área de playa y muelle de natación. Hay una gran piscina con cómodas tumbonas y una sombría palapa. Aunque esta casa no está directamente frente a la playa, está en un lote de playa y es menos costosa que la casa principal, un gran valor por solo unos pocos pasos adicionales hacia el frente del océano. Cocina totalmente equipada, ropa de cama, lavadora, TV de pantalla plana / DVD, wifi, aire acondicionado y una gran piscina con tumbonas. La casa está construida con gruesos pisos y paredes de hormigón armado y según los estándares estadounidenses / canadienses. * La brisa de la isla que sale del océano es refrescante casi todos los días. Esta es una zona tranquila, a solo 5 minutos en bicicleta de la ciudad, cerca de muchos restaurantes maravillosos, supermercados locales y bares de cabañas tiki.

Abundantes palmeras y follaje floral por todas partes. El área de la playa es una de las pocas en la isla. Nuestro pequeño enclave privado decidió construir un muelle / plataforma de natación para su baño más agradable en el mar por la mañana / tarde. Puedes sentarte al final del muelle y ver cómo se rompe el arrecife frente a la costa. Los peces tropicales son un evento diario. Si viaja en su propio barco, puede reservar un lugar en su muelle si se queda en el enclave. La piscina tiene 33'x15 'de ancho con una cubierta de madera dura beliceña.

Hay varias tumbonas con cojines para sentarse junto a la piscina y relajarse para recargar las pilas para su próxima aventura. La piscina se comparte con nuestras 2 casas. Tenemos tablas de paddle, kayaks de mar y canoas para alquilar. ¡También alquilamos bicicletas en la isla para viajar y recorrer la maravillosa aventura para casi cualquier edad! Tenemos bicicletas para niños, portabebés y cunas a pedido.

Lovely stay in a clean room.

We were welcomed by the staff and the stay was peaceful. The bed was uncomfortably hard but I moved to the soft futon.

Very comfortable spot with close proximity to the airport and a pretty simple walk, bike ride, or golf cart trip to the shops and restaurants. Great street vendor just outside of the property that does dinner every night.Great

Quite and Relaxing

Everything about our stay was amazing. We visited the busy part of town during the day and returned to a quite relaxing place at night. I can’t say enough about our stay. The staff was very helpful and polite. Everything was as expected when we got there. We will be returning.

Great Place

We stayed here for a few nights, great place. Easy access to road/pool and docks for fishing. Also was very quiet and there is a small restaurant at the places next door. 10/10 would book again.

Beautiful, quiet and rejuvenating paradise on Caye Caulker

Clean, safe, friendly!

Clean cottage feel at this large studio home. Lots of kitchen space, washing machine, quiet, lovely dock, pool was great, staff are helpful and friendly.

We loved the location, the people were great. The pools were clean and refreshing. My only complaint was our room seemed like it was in the middle of all the service happenings so it kinda felt like you were in a fish bowl, not very private. Over all a great stay.

Perfect Condo on Caye Caulker!

My husband and I landed here after 10 days on the mainland and fell instantly in love with the spot. It was perfect for the two of us with all of the amenities we could have needed and then some. We especially appreciated the washing machine, especially after so many travel days. The location was ideal as we weren’t right in the hustle and bustle, but enjoyed riding bikes around town and exploring. We loved it so much we were ready to buy one ourselves, we’ll definitely be back!

Island Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Velento. The room was so nice and not that we needed everything, but it is stalked with everything. The staff were all wonderful and I especially loved dealing with Beyonce and Isabell, they were both the best and really sweet. The pools and especially the pier are great! I could go on an on, but just know that this is a great property, and we would definitely stay there again. Thanks for a great 2 weeks Velento and Caye Caulker.

Really wonderful staff and very clean

I didn’t realize it’s more of a hotel. The check in was great they showed us around, provided lots of towels, a huge filtered water bottle for the room, there are hammocks to chill in, giant Jenga to play, two pools to swim in with comfortable lounge chairs. We rented a golf cart which was super fun to get around in. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with lots of mature plants and trees and they have a full time staff member sweeping the ground to make even the outside spotless. I would highly recommend. We enjoyed everything about our suite at Velento Rentals. The property was clean, 5 gallon jugs of fresh water were provided, there were plenty of beach towels and clean bath towels. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked great. We turned off the a/c when we were not in the room. If you keep all the blinds down, the room will still be nice and cool when you return. This property is within walking distance of the Caye Caulker airport, which was very convenient since we flew in there vs. taking the ferry from Belize City. The dock on this property is amazing with a great breeze blowing to keep you comfortable. Be sure to bring your own toiletries and coffee, as they are not provided.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed at Weezies on last vacation and loved it. Felt Velento was not as organized and accessible as Weezies was. Was unable to plan my excursion or help me plan it as they said they would before I arrived. I emailed the Owner about it but no response or help. Employees would leave the desk and unable to find or contact. The staff was untrained and unable to answer the simplest questions or help with simple issues. I was blamed when the staff charged me the wrong fee 3 times. The TV is so small and unable to be seen where it is located.

Smelly Sargassum

Overall the property was nice. The smell of the Sargassum was pretty bad here. In fact, the worst on the whole island. There are properties on either side that do not maintain it and it really puts a damper on their property. We arrived and the windows were open, and the whole place smelled of rotten eggs. Once the windows were closed and the AC on, it took about a half of a day to rid the smell from the property. We had to keep the windows and door shut while we were there. The rest of the island is doing a good job of keeping the Sargassum at bay, which was why it was so disappointing. I reached out to the owners through VRBO, but never got a response. There was not clear instructions on where exactly this property was. If they had just said Palmetto, then it would have been simple to find. Instead we had a taxi driver take us to the other Velento property and charge us extra, when we literally could have walked from the airport. That's what we did on the way out. It was a 3 minute walk to the airport. The place was clean, the staff very nice. The location was a bit far from town and any other restaurants. It would have been nice if the bikes were included with the rental and not extra for that reason. Several other resorts had bikes included. The complimentary kayaks and paddle boards were a nice touch, but it was super windy and hard to go far. Also hard to launch them with the murky water at the shoreline. The pools were like bathtubs, so not very refreshing.
