La Tortuga Azul (la tortuga azul!) - Una casa personalizada con 3 dormitorios, 2 baños completos, además de un altillo y una piscina. Los visitantes se sentirán bienvenidos mientras atraviesan la puerta hacia una sala de estar abierta con techos abovedados, sala de estar y comedor, así como una cocina totalmente equipada. Cómodamente amueblado, dos habitaciones tienen camas queen, mientras que el tercer dormitorio y el altillo tienen dos camas individuales. Para las noches de isla perezosa, hay un gran porche y terraza en la piscina disponibles para relajarse por completo y disfrutar del aire del océano ... o nadar para refrescarse después de un día de exploración y saltar a la piscina. Excellent stay for a group

The check in process was easy. The home was easy to locate and very close to the airport. The home felt private even though there’s other homes surrounding it.

Rustic Charm

This property is close to the airport, was clean. The check in process was straightforward. Michael was there anytime you needed him and the bicycles were the perfect means to explore the island we would return thanks, Michael.

Caye Caulker

House was big enough for all of our group to be very comfortable. We all felt very safe here and loved all the trees around us. The property manager was easy to reach and very helpful. Very conveniently located near airport and an easy bike ride into town. Highly recommend!

Cute, enjoyable bungalow, but a bit pricey.

Stayed here for two nights in late December 2024 and enjoyed the place and the location. In terms of value for money though, we were a bit surprised. We paid over 400 per night and there wasn't even shampoo provided in the showers, just small bars of soap. Perhaps this is in keeping with the local market, but we stayed in Placencia at a much nicer place for the same price and it came with toiletries, etc. We were also surprised by the early check out time (10am).

Clean, comfortable and plenty of room!

We were originally a party of 6 when we booked but by the time our trip came around only 3 of us were able to go. This gave each of us our own room and privacy. Jonathan was on site when we checked in and he gave us a tour and assisted with the suitcases. He was super friendly (actually everyone was) and gave us the keys and gate code. He also ensured we had contact info in case we needed anything.Michael responded to our emails promptly and even came by one day to check in. We did end up renting a golf cart a couple of days to get around and having the restaurant/bakery practically next door was a bonus. We expected it to be further away.We did not get to use the pool as much as expected but it was nice and refreshing when we did. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and we loved that we were off the beaten path and had a wonderful vacation.

Great for a big group

There were 9 of us traveling, teens and adults, so we needed a big house. We rented the main house and the poolside casita and it was perfect. A little far from “town” but it’s a small island so everything was within reach by bike or taxi/golf cart. It was nice having the large 5 gallon water jug for both houses. Michael was very responsive any time we needed something. Nothing fancy but the house is comfortable and has everything you need for an extended stay. We brought a fogger with us to use around the pool area. Definitely helped with the mosquitoes which are inevitable with this type of climate. Definitely recommend.

Enjoyed our stay on Caye Caulker

Jonathon was very helpful and prompt with everything we needed from bikes to water! The pool was perfect! We liked the distance from downtown for the walking/exercise and it was quite. The closest store was about 5-7 minute walk. A/C worked great. The house is well stocked for cooking. The beds where comfortable. The 6 of us really enjoyed our stay! Try Mexican food at Agave, Curry and Jerked Chicken at Reina’s! See the Rays, Sea horses, and Tarpons. Snorkeling with Salt Life, Tony was fantastic! Just go slow and enjoy the island life.

Caye Caulker - Tortuga Azul House

A beautiful property with a pool surrounded by lush palms. It is a property we would come back to and the property management team - Michael, Ceci, and Lambert are some of the kindest people you will ever meet and very responsive to guests needs.

Great Week at La Tortuga Azul

This was our second stay at the house and it did not disappoint. Perfect location - near the airport (we flew in and out, which I recommend) and just far enough from town that it was super quiet (also recommend renting a golf cart for the week, well worth the cost). House has plenty of room so you aren't on top of each other. Pool is great too. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful place

This is a beautiful place. It sleeps 7 people comfortably. The water pressure in the upstairs bathroom is not so good and took me a while to get the shampoo rinsed out of my hair. The house seems a bit dark and could use better lighting especially over the sink and stove area in the kitchen. Lambert was our guy and made sure we had everything we needed. He brought us all the beer we needed and the big jugs of water, he even got some coconuts down for us and cut them open . He was super! The pool was very nice also. I would highly recommend this house.

Lovely property a short distance from town center

This property worked well for our group. It was walking distance (maybe 10 - 15 minutes) from the center of town, and if you don't feel like walking you can get a golf taxi to take you wherever you need to go. It was just far enough to be away from the noise of the town, but close enough to be convenient. The beds were decent, the kitchen was well equipped, and the AC was effective at keeping us cool at night. The pool was also lovely to have access to. Our only complaint was the check-in process; we didn't receive any information regarding the check in process. there was no one around to let us in upon our arrival, and we were initially unable to communicate with our host. Luckily, our cab drivers knew the host and called him directly for us. Someone else came to let us in a short time later, and later the host came to apologize for the inconvenience (even threw in a bottle of wine for us). Overall I would recommend and would rent here again.

Caye Caulker Stay

The owner Amanda was very accommodating when I had to change the dates of my trip. The property manager Michael was very nice and always answered all of my questions and concerns. The house was very clean, but we had no paper towels for the kitchen or radio to listen too. I called Michael and he bought them eight over, he even let us use his Bluetooth speaker. The only thing about the property was they only gave us one set of towels and when I called to ask about more I was told “they change them out every two days.” I requested new towels the next day and they towels smelled like they weren’t even washed . I did not even bother to complain. The other thing was the house located by the airport and it’s pretty far the all the restaurants. We had to call a cab/ gulf cart for 6 people at $5 bucks a head to and from every time went out for food three times a day. Lastly, the mosquitoes by the house are horrible but not so much by the restaurant side. We got bit up so much more than normal. We bought plenty of off but it did not even matter. We did enjoy our stay at the house especially for the group size we had four adults and two children it was enough room for everyone. The pool was nicely kept.

Relaxing and secluded stay on the island

We couldnt have been happier with our stay at Tortuga Azul. The place looks even better than the pictures. The little cottage right behind the house was empty during our stay so we had the whole place to ourselves, and spent almost every morning in the beautiful pool. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, and there was AC and fans in every room to keep us cool. The shower pressure is a bit weak but not unexpected, and we recommend bringing snacks and food supplies from home or BC since the stores were a bit lacking in supplies (thats island life!) but overall it was a fantastic vacation. The house is in a more residential section of the island so it was very quiet, but we could quickly walk or ride a rented golf cart to the main streets. We were very pleased with the location and would 100% stay here again if we come back to Caye Caulker. Seriously, you cant go wrong with this place! Honestly may be the best rental on the whole island.

Accommodations were perfect and the hosts were extremely accommodating and answered all my questions before arrival. We could not have asked for more! In addition, the property staff truly out did themselves at every request and they ensured our visit was complete. Island life was exactly what this family needed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!
