Great vacation!

We've rented different locations in OOB over the years and this was by far the best rental! This is based on host support and communication, location, cleanliness and overall comfort. We will definitely look to rent here again next year!

Perfect getaway

The house was perfect for my families getaway! The kids had plenty of room and my husband and I were quite comfortable. We were able to grill out and enjoy the fire pit in the backyard. It was close enough to the pier while also being far enough away from all of the noise. The house was clean ,spacious, and had all the amenities one would need on a trip! The host was amazing to communicate with and I would book here again in a heartbeat

Great home & great location

Property is really very nice! 1st time we did VRBO we have camped for years & sold it in 2021. The kitchen usage was great lots of items for lobster & steamers to cook at home & enjoy the backyard fire pit! Older kids could walk downtown to bars later as well. Bob & Glenna were awesome to work with!! We will definitely be back🤗 Nancy

Weeklong stay at old orchard

We loved this beach cottage! The location was great, within easy walking distance of the pier, restaurants and stores. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us, we enjoyed being able to cook a few meals in as well as the enclosed patio area in the back. Highly recommended.

Super-equipped family home!

My family usually does not usually stay in OOB as we thought the area was too busy for our liking; well what a pleasant surprise as the home was located far enough away for some nice R&R but close enough that we could walk if we wished to partake in any festivities! Very clean and so well equipped...so much so that I was able to cook for 10 family friends in the area with all necessary pot/pans/plates etc!! Loved the outside space!!

This was a lovely place for my family for our beach vacation!

House was clean, hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with. House had all the basic supplies we needed and we loved the back porch, patio and yard.

Clean, cute house with everything you need and close to beach!

This is my first time using HomeAway and the overall experience was great! Glenna was so helpful and answered any questions we had right away. I stayed in the house with my husband, parents and our 2 year old. And there was plenty of room. Good sized living room with a huge L shaped couch. The house was very well maintained It contained pretty much everything you needed (ie: coffee filters, hand towels, dishes, dishwasher, grill, Lobster pot, etc). The outdoor patio area was fantastic. A picnic table for dinner, a grill, fire pit and outdoor seating. You are only a 10 min walk to the pier and beach. Plus there is a RiteAid right down the street, a lobster spot <5 min walk where they steam the lobs for you, and a grocery store only a short drive down the road. The only reason I did not give 5 stars has nothing to do with the house, but the location. I spent many family vacas at OOB as a kid. It's a great place for older children and a short drive to surrounding towns. But I probably would not go back to OOB for an entire week again.

Great!

Location was great for young kids walking to the beach daily. The yard was the perfect size for lawn games when not at the ocean, quiet and peaceful. The house was close enough to downtown but we were able to avoid a lot of the added noise from the main streets, as we have stayed right on Saco Ave for years. This was a great move and we are looking forward to using the home again for years to come. Glenna and Bob are awesome, couldn't say enough about how responsive and wonderful they are. Thank you Glenna and Bob for sharing your home with us.

Better Late than Never!

My family of 5 and I rented this home in the summer of 2009. We had such a wonderful time! The house was in perfect condition- just as advertised. Very spacious rooms, clean and roomy bathroom, and fabulous living room. Kitchen had everything we could possibly ask for. We got lobsters one night and had everything we needed! Dishwasher and laundry came in handy. The backyard was the best part! Fantastic canopy over a long picnic table. Great gas grill for bbq'ing and fire pit for roasting marshmallows at night! Plenty of parking for the entire family- neighbors were nice and helpful! We had plenty of room to play lawn games and spread our chairs around outside to catch more sun! On a quiet street, about 10 minutes to the beach and pier. I would recommend a wagon or cart to bring your stuff down- we got tired on the walk back! The Rite Aid at the end of the street was quite convenient. We made many stops there! Close to Main St, shops, ice cream, night life, carnival, etc. The owners were fantastic!! So helpful and kind. Very personable and willing to answer all questions. My family and I over the past few years have added on a few more people with a love for vacationing in OOB, causing us to need a bigger space with more bedrooms. Otherwise- we would continue to rent this property. It is ideal for 2 couples, a family of 4-6, or a small group of friends. I apologize for not writing a review sooner, but hopefully this review will help someone make a great decision for their OOB vacation. This house is ideal- clean, functionable, and roomy. It would definitely be my first choice for renting if I didn't need more bedrooms!!! Thanks again for a great family vacation! Tammy & Derek Favreau and family!

Better than everything !

We rented this house for the second time last summer. We are 2 adults and we have 2 young kids. This house is perfect ! Like home, but in Old Orchard ! :) A lot of room to live, to sleep (and you're alone, in a quiet room, like the kids are sleeping upstairs...) The beach is approx 10 minutes of walking from the house and the Main Street, at 3 minutes. You have a Ride Aid pharmacy at the ent of the street, very useful. Everything is really included in the house, and more ! Everything is clean, in working order and the owners really care about you, they are wonderfull. The street is calm and neighbourgs are quiet. We recommend this house to everyone, and if you have 2-4 kids, you're good to go (you also have a hide-a-bed in the living room...). We reserved this house for 1-week a year until further notice :) We can't wait for the next year to come !! We are from St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada...
