What a lovely home in a beautiful setting! The location was perfect for our stay. It was very quiet, yet everything was close by. We so enjoyed our stay at this well-equipped and comfortable home that we promised ourselves we would make it an annual trip and try to always get this place. Thank you for a great stay!

Definently will be back!!

We arrived and it was beautiful and perfect with all of the amenities. Great communication with the host and the family loved it! It had all the comforts of home! It sure beat renting and staying in a single room hotel! When back on the central coast we plan on staying here again!

Could not have imagined a better experience!

Great location right on the golf course. Spotless interior-exactly as advertised. Really terrific and accommodating host made the entire stay exactly what we were looking for.

Christmas At Sloways

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The owners were terrific. Great communication. Very reasonably priced for what they give you. We spent our Christmas Vacation in their home, and we wanted for nothing. We arrived at a fully decorated home for the holiday. A bottle of wine and a box of candy on the table. Everything you could think of was there down to spare batteries for the remote controls and a garlic peeler. We sat on the patio overlooking a golf course and lit the firepit and drank in Christmas 2024. We were able to host a Christmas Dinner for 10 people and had all the dishes and glassware and pots and pans to do the job.In short, this was a fantastic stay. The owners really tried to make their home feel like ours. I would go back in a heartbeat and will be staying with them again hopefully soon. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Our stay was wonderful. Exactly as advertised. The home is beautiful. Great location. Communication with the hosts was great. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again.

one of the bedrooms was advertised as a queen bed, but it was accually two twin bed pushed together

overall it was good. Only thing was the two twin beds pushed together (advertised as queen) leaving a gap in the middle of the bed.

Beautiful Unit on the Golf Course

Very comfortable condo right on the golf course. The views were beautiful and it is a very quiet location. The kitchen is well equipped and we especially enjoyed the window table to sit and eat while watching the golfers. We played golf at Blacklake and nearby Monarch Dunes. Very convenient location for day trips in the area. We will be back!

Really Nice!!

A very clean, well - equipped townhouse overlooking the golf course. Location in Nipomo is quiet but with good access to stores, restaurants, wineries, the beaches, etc. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to return!!

Nipomo Vacation

It was a relaxing vacation, going to Oceano Beach, checking local farms' produce, Oso Flaco Lake, and just sitting on the patio. Excellent, cool place right on the golf course. The house was perfect for us, everything as described. We were getting out to eat and also cooked as much as I wanted :). They have a live band playing on Saturdays near the Bar and grill place. Nice! Thanks to Daniel and Susan.

Terrific Townhome for golfers and normal people

We spent 12 days at SloWays and enjoyed it immensely. Myself my two college age sons and a friend of theres. Enough rooms upstairs and screens to give us sparation when we wanted, but a spacious common area downstairs. The views of the fairways are wonderful. I counted at least three of them that we could see from the patio. The unit is situated closer to the course than most of the neighbors, provicidng a nice private spot for watching others try to play golf. Good freeway access as well as back roads to get to Grover Beach and Pismo. I think you'll enjoy it. An excellent value for travellers needing the extra room. The Golf Wanderer

One of the best at Black Lake!

Great attention to detail and attentiveness. Lovely snack basket and wine was a great personal touch. Well stocked kitchen equipment. Coffee maker with option of a pot or k-cup. Comfortable beds. My husband really liked the bidet toilets. Only call out for me to renters is to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Otherwise, all was perfect!

1) need more power outlets in living room, rooms 2) make the step down in entry more visible. It blends in with floor in lower level. other than that it was great, thank you

Very comfy base for visiting the area

Very quiet and comfortable home situated right on the golf course, with a sun trap terrace for watching the golfers play. Handy location for visiting the area, but all a car drive away. The home has everything you need ( except a kettle for us Brits). Very pleasant 5 day stay. Thanks.

Stunning View

This property was the perfect place for me and my three kids to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet after the crazy holidays. There was plenty of space for all of us and the owners thought of everything to make the home comfortable and fun. There were an abundance of board games and my kids played everything from uno to battle ship. The home was decorated for Christmas so it really did feel like we were at a home away from home. The view of the golf course was spectacular and my husband was very jealous that he didn’t come with us. We’ll have to come back so he can come and experience this stunning view for himself and play golf:). While we were there we enjoyed visiting Cal Poly and Pismo Beach and eating at all our favorite places in SLO and Arroyo Grande. We look forward to another relaxing family vacation here soon.

Excellent property

We are on our last night of this rental and we couldn’t say anything better for this property! The hosts, Daniel and Susan were wonderful, very responsive and so accommodating- even had a basket of goodies and a good bottle of wine ready for us when we arrived!! They truly made us feel at home and did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our vacation. The home itself is beautiful and has all the amenities you need to stay! We have 2 young teens with us and they enjoyed the pool and we all enjoyed the fire pit in the evening! The guys golfed several rounds on the course as we are on hole 9 (the hosts even left us some golf clubs to borrow!). It was fun to watch the golfers throughout the day. The location is wonderful and so easy the access stores, restaurants and the beach!! We had a great stay and will definitely recommend and hopefully be back soon ourselves. You won’t be disappointed if you are considering this property!

Disappointed

We specifically chose this home because of the fire place and the out door fire pit. When we notified the host Daniel and explained the Fire place has a not so good so smell when we lit it and also the fire alarm went off had to open all doors and windows. He stayed could not be serviced in the IL after we leave. We also stated the out side fire pit propane tank was empty. He stayed if we would fill it and he would reimburse us. I just fill these issues should of been taken care prior to our arrival.

View from the patio window is super nice.

I have stayed at many VRBO properties. This one ranks very high on my list. It is comfortable and clean. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. The townhouse backs up to the Black Lake Golf Course, it is very relaxing to have a very open view. Easy check with a digital lock. Will stay there again if we go back to Nipomo in the future.

SLOways=Lovely

The condo was as advertised with three very nice-sized bedrooms and two and a half baths. The decor and furniture were quite nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the patio and sat there often watching the golfers or enjoying the fire. It was well-appointed with lots of extra linens, plenty of dishes and good cookware and appliances. We truly had no complaints or needs. It had everything we would want and more. The location was also lovely; we enjoyed just walking in the neighborhood and it was close to stores, restaurants, and fun. Daniel and Susan were good hosts and responsive to any questions we might have had. They recommended some great places too. There is a lot to do in the area and our family enjoyed hiking, golfing, beach days, wildlife, bird songs, flowers, the agriculture, wine tasting, restaurants & friendly people.. The weather was great and the scenery magnificent! We highly recommend SLOways! Thanks for the treats too. B & J
