Este apartamento renovado y luminoso se encuentra a pocos pasos de la hermosa catedral de San Martino y justo detrás de la esquina de la Torre Guinigi. Recientemente remodelado, es una base muy cómoda para descubrir Lucca y su belleza y sus alrededores.

El apartamento se encuentra en el segundo piso y también tiene ASCENSOR. Este es un palacio antiguo dentro de los muros de Lucca, que fue la residencia de una de las familias más importantes para el comercio de seda en Europa en 1400 ... La ubicación es excelente, muy céntrica pero en un bloque muy tranquilo. La zona es muy bonita ya que es zona peatonal. Aquí hay un par de muy buenas pizzerías, supermercados, panaderías, pastelerías y cafés para desayunar por la mañana. Todo está a pocos pasos, así como el mercado semanal y el acceso al paseo marítimo en la parte superior de las murallas de la ciudad.

Elegante, moderna y muy brillante, CASA DANIELA ofrece una estadía muy cómoda, con todas las comodidades modernas que pueda necesitar y muebles nuevos, impecables y hermosos. Todos los detalles han sido extremadamente cuidados.

Los techos de los salones aún conservan la decoración original pintada de 1700.

El apartamento es muy amplio y mide 100 metros cuadrados. Tiene un dormitorio doble, un dormitorio individual, una cocina totalmente equipada (lavavajillas, horno, 5 estufas, congelador, refrigerador, cafetera italiana y americana, tostadora, hervidor, un juego completo de utensilios de cocina como en casa, copas de vino, etc.). ..), una amplia sala de estar con TV, un baño con una gran ducha integrada.

El apartamento también está equipado con lavadora y secadora, una conexión wi-fi muy confiable en todo el apartamento.

El apartamento está equipado con un acondicionador de aire portátil que se puede mover de la sala a la cocina a uno de los dormitorios.

One of the best places I’ve stayed.

This apartment was beautiful! It felt like home. Michela our host, was lovely and responded immediately to any questions. The location was perfect, and close to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved this apartment - the location, its history and actual apartment was amazing

Location, decorations, history, authentic, Bed was not the most comfortable and linen was old, better instructions on where to find the street bins would be helpful in your excellent blue manual. And more than 1/2 a roll of toilet paper would be better. However, these were little things and did not distract from an excellent stay.

A special place in a very unique city

A well equiped apartment with every thing you can ask for. I would give a 1. Quiet ,pacious,extreamly well located. CLose to everything inside the most special city in Italy.In over 30 years of using VRBO in Lucca this is tops.

Superb apartment

Location was brilliant , very near to all amenities, another lovely property from Lucca Villa and apartments. Our third apartment and we wouldn’t look anywhere else . The apartment was well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay . The staff are easily contactable if you need them . We loved it. If you could leave a small city map that would be great but everything else was superb as usual

A great place to stay

The location was ideal, close to all we needed, whilst being relatively quiet. Minor points, some sharp cooks knives would have been good. Make sure all lights are functioning, cooker hood light wasn't and a bulb had failed in the unit above (right) the gas hob.

Extraordinary

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sonia’s apartment. It was big and very well laid out and you can't beat the interiors! There is also a wonderful kitchen where we enjoyed dinner in the evenings. It faces onto the promenade where you can observe the daily activity. The location is perfect and right in the middle of everything. Sonia was extremely responsive and helpful with all questions we asked. She was even nice enough to provide an helpful housebook she wrote with great suggestions. If and when we return to Lucca, we will most certainly come back to this apartment!

A delightful experience! Apt to was just as presented.

I liked the great location, the kitchen with a microwave. That was all I needed to eat my meals. Loved the decor! Provide an alternate phone number for after hours that is reliable to the client. I stated my arrival time at least twice to Stejl Baca and was told it was not a problem. My only negative comment is that I was told someone would there at 6:30 pm and no one was. I thought about finding a hotel that night. However my driver worked his magic and his friend arrived with the keys.

Fantastic location

Great service and stellar location close to all sights and nice restaurants. Very spacious and charming apartment with beautiful ceiling paintings. Nice with dishwasher and washing machine. Helpful guide book with practical information and tips to the city (and day trips) was really appreciated. Had a wonderful week there. Kitchen not very well equipped (lacking proper cookware and basic stuff like a bread knife, which we bought). Further, the mattress, pillows and linen were not very comfortable. Would also be handy with two keys.

Charming Tuscan Apartment in Beautiful Lucca!

We loved this historic apartment. The location is perfect. It is within walking distance to everything in this beautiful medieval Italian city... great restaurants, concerts, shopping at the fabulous Antique Market and of course, daily walks and bike rides on "the Wall". The spacious apartment is exactly as portrayed...wood beams, impressive ceiling detail and beautifully decorated with all the charm of Tuscany. Bedding was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped for both meals and an amazing private cooking class with Nadia! Sonia was very friendly and welcoming. She explained the apartment's amenities and offered suggestions for restaurants and activities in & around Lucca. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a perfect Tuscan getaway!

Great location!

The location of this apartment is perfect. It is well appointed with amazing high ceilings that are beautifully painted. For the directionally challenged, it is beside the medieval tower with the trees on top which was very helpful. There is a great view of the tower from the bedroom window. There is a cafe/restaurant in the same building just around the corner that is excellent. Lucca is such a lovely place and the apartment is a quick walk to the train station for day trips to Pisa, Viaggio (beach) Cinque Terre and more. There was a very detailed binder with information on everything you could think of in it. We were met promptly at the apartment door upon arrival. We had a great stay in Lucca with our 14 year old daughter. It was great.

We would return

We looked forward to our stay with high expectations and, even so, they were all exceeded. The building is brilliantly located and has a real period atmosphere while the apartment itself has everything you might need. We have stayed in many airbnb apartments and this is definitely one we would return to.

Una casa così in centro a Lucca…. FANTASTICA, tutto perfetto, dal check-in con Sonia super puntuale che ci ha illustrato cosa potevamo fare durante il nostro soggiorno, alla signora Barbara, resasi disponibile per qualsiasi cosa potesse servirci. L’appartamento TOP, non mancava nulla, l’atmosfera super senza parlare dell’ ubicazione, pieno centro, sotto torre Guinigi, abbiamo trascorso una settimana fantastica….peccato sia terminata!!!

Almost Perfect

This apartment is a two-bedroom unit in an old palazzo (palace). Upon entry to the building, you are met with beautiful frescos and mosaics. When you enter the apartment itself, you are met with a beautiful fresco on the ceiling and corresponsing plaster mouldings and decorations. I would describe the livingroom and kitchen as being almost "palatial" in their decor and appearance. The bedrooms and bathroom are "nice", but do not possess the same qualities of the kitchen/living room. Our bed was a disaster and rock hard, to the point of feeling it in our backs and hips after we left. On point, we are fit and walked 15k a day. We read a previous review and another person had complained about the mattress. One of the reasons we booked here was the owner's response "Receiving a complaint from you during the stay rather than now that you have returned home would have allowed me to do all the best to provide you an excellent experience. Not only I could have bought a new mattress for you (despite I have never received a complaint about the mattresses that are nearly 2 year old) but I could also have provided the possibility to move you into another of my apartments to make you happy. My guests' satisfaction is my main concern so there is no problem for me to move guests and possibly provide an upgrade for free." I contacted Ms Sonia right away to ask if she had another mattress or foam pad. The answer was no and none of the actions mentioned above even spoken of. I feel that her response to the review was most disingenuous. It would not take much to make this property top notch. I would have a memory foam mattress pad available if guests request it. I would put new towels in the bathroom. They were clean and white, but showing their age and paper-thin. I would put some fancier pillows/coverings on the beds. There was nothing wrong with them, but the front end is so beautiful that the back should ideally match it. Neither of these would be cost-prohibitive. This is a great property in a great location. I would stay here in a heartbeat if the bed was comfortable.

Charming Tuscan Apartment in Beautiful Lucca!

Beautiful apartment. Enough room for two and great location to everything

The apartment had all necessary conveniences: dishwasher, hair dryer, cooking needs and a big shower. very clean on our arrival. We were able to get on the train without walking a long distance and very close to all sides of the Lucca wall. Close to grocery store, forno and water fountains. The only difficulty we had was understanding the recycling for trash but didn’t let it ruin our time there.

Some good, some bad, overall disappointing

The apartment has some nice features like a beautiful sitting room, well-appointed kitchen, and washing machine. The location is okay, in a quiet area of Lucca. Parking and transporting luggage was a challenge as the apartment in well within the ZTL. Unfortunately, the many negatives offset the positives and made the stay overall below what we had hoped for. The beds were the most uncomfortable (rock hard) we experienced in a month of stays in Italy. Just unbearable. We also had issues with the very noisy portable AC unit. Finally, since the hot weather required leaving windows open in the other parts of the home, we experienced little biting bugs that nibbled on us as we slept. Uncomfortable. In total, we were very disappointed and glad to move to our next location.

Nicely decorated, well-located apartment

Mrs. Sonia could not have been more helpful. The apartment is beautifully furnished and equipped, and the building has an elevator which is unusual in Lucca, and very much appreciated. The second bedroom is small, as the photos show. All in all, a wonderful living environment, and one to which we would happily return.
