Drip Dry Up es la unidad de arriba de un encantador dúplex frente al mar. Renovada en 2016, esta casa de vacaciones actualizada se ha convertido en una de las más populares de Folly. La paleta de colores neutros, el plano de planta abierto y la abundancia de luz natural crean una conexión perfecta con la playa.

La cocina completamente equipada tiene nuevos electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y una impresionante vista al mar. Disfrute de una taza de café en la barra de desayuno o relájese en la sala de estar y vea sus programas favoritos en el nuevo televisor de 50 "HD. El baño también fue renovado con un nuevo tocador, ducha y una nueva lavadora / secadora.

El dormitorio principal tiene una cama queen, TV 4K de 40 "y puertas francesas que conducen a la terraza frente al mar. El segundo dormitorio redefine las literas, con un colchón king en la parte inferior y un colchón queen en la parte superior. Cada habitación cuenta con colchones de alta calidad que garantizan una buena noche de descanso y hay un nuevo sofá cama Queen en la sala de estar.

Las piscinas frente al mar son un hallazgo raro en Folly Beach, por lo que esta casa es bastante especial. The view was phenomenal. Directly on the beach with amazing sunrises. Great views from the screened in porch as well. The porch made a seemingly small place feel much larger & gave our family of four plenty of room for a weeks stay. The pool was quite warm which was perfect for a couple chilly days in the 50’s.

Drip Dry Up was wonderful! Such a gorgeous view the pool was excellent! The pictures do a perfect representation of the space, it is quaint & cozy! The rocking chairs on the porch for morning coffee was the perfect way to start the day, especially watching the surfers. So many fun restaurants to visit, but loved Rita's! Folly is a fun beach, with a total laid back vibe!

Great Vacation Spot

We've stayed at "Drip-Dry Up" several times and it never disappoints. The pool is excellent and maintained at a comfortable chlorine level and always clean. The ocean views are wonderful and our family always has a wonderful stay.

Perfect Beach House

Fantastic week. You couldn't ask for a better location to enjoy the beach. Wonderful accomodations. Between the heated pool, the relaxing screened in porch with it's stellar view of the ocean this was my wife's and my favorite beach vacation.

Peaceful cottage by the sea

The location was priceless. We loved the pool and being oceanfront. The screened in porches made the house seem much larger and was a wonderful gathering place. The grounds were beautiful.

Wonderful!

We loved Drip Dry Up!! Being right on the beach with a pool and an incredible view, how could we go wrong? The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails and the location was close enough to town foe activity but far enough away so it wasn’t too crowded. We loved every bit of it!

Drip Dry Up

Drip Dry Up was the perfect beach house for our family vacation. The pool was nice for the kids to play in and it was wonderful that the house is steps away from the beach. We had a maintenance issue that was taking care of promptly. I would stay there again!

Perfect beachfront oasis with pool!

While this place has the charm of an older beach house, it has been updated and is a super comfortable two bedroom / one bath upstairs apartment. Enjoy the view and breeze of the beach and dining at the outdoor table from the screened in porch. There are beach chairs and toys, good wi-fi, and more. Note: for folks with mobility issues there are stairs with each coming and going so keep that in mind. We hope next time to rent both upstairs and downstairs for a larger family group. Highly recommend!

Peaceful and beautiful

This was the most relaxing trip our family has ever had to Folly. The beach was only a few steps (and not too many stairs) away. The pool was enjoyed immensely by the youngsters in the group. Our family occupied both the Up and Down units so we had the pool all to ourselves! We loved the screen porches and being away from the hustle and bustle of Center Street. The apartments are small spaces but provide everything you need, including laundry!

Just what we needed

This was the perfect place for the two of us. It would have even been comfortable if we had brought a couple of the grandkids or come with friends. The outdoor space and the heated pool were most enjoyable, although you couldn’t really see the beach from the outside chairs on the deck since they are below the dunes but still a great space and we enjoyed being out there. We especially enjoyed just rocking on the screened in porch which has a great view of the beach. Loved the queen over king bunk bed. Beds were comfortable but the pillows could use an upgrade. Communication with management was great and everyone was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location, wonderful pool!!!

Stay at drip dry folly upper unit was great! Location was perfect with a private beach. Heated pool was just excellent this time of year. The only suggestions we would have is cleanliness in a few areas. Couch is pretty worn, bedding stained and outdoor lounger cushions moldy. Would have loved a few beach chairs to use, some pool floats or boogie boards that weren’t cracked. This did not dampen the trip, it would have just enhanced it. Communication with management company was excellent and they were extremely responsive to a maintenance issue. Really was a beautiful property and the family had a blast! The screened in area was ideal!

Perfect and completely charming!

We LOVED drip dry UP. The listing wasn’t super clear that we were only getting the upstairs- or that we would share the large well maintained heated pool with the couple staying downstairs- but they were sweet and no one got in anyone’s way. The beds were cozy and comfortable- this isn’t a high end over the top place- it was perfect and cozy and felt cabin-ish but was well decorated and maintained. The upstairs screened porch was perfect with gorgeous views and the constant sounds of the ocean. Already planning to come back and will for sure stay here again! ♥️

Drip Dry Up

The property was well described and was an incredible location, the proximity to the beach and the onsite pool were awesome. My major issue was with maintenance of the property. When we arrived the AC was not functional, and when traveling with a baby it was a huge issue for us. The HVAC repair company who came to help us was wonderful, but we couldn’t get the temp down below 80 for the first 12 hours. I was especially disappointed to learn the previous renters had also notified the management of HVAC issues and they had not been resolved for our arrival. My other major concern was bugs. When we checked in, there were ants in the kitchen and we found palmetto bugs and other insects all over the house throughout our stay. In the grass next to the pool there were multiple ant hills which limited our outside use - again especially when traveling with kids. Luckily, all of these issues can pretty easily be resolved and hopefully won’t persist for future guests.

Thank you for leaving your review! The HVAC unfortunately had not been disclosed by the previous guest, but as soon as we were made aware, the issue was resolved. Living in a tropical climate such as Charleston, we often have pests to contend with such as ants and palmetto bugs. These are a normal part of Charleston, but certainly annoying! All of our properties are treated on a quarterly basis for pests, and can be sprayed in the interim if reported.

This was a great place to stay, it was perfect for our daughter’s second birthday! Only reason I gave 4 stars was because they had someone come spray for bugs on her birthday and we got kicked out of the pool.. with a toddler definitely not easy to explain. They spray chemicals that were not safe for bodies of water or marine life and we couldn’t get back in the pool for a long time. This wasn’t even disclosed with us before hand. Overall clean place.

This place was beautiful in every way and would come again. The screened in porch was the star of the house with the amazing view. The heated pool was amazing at night a little to hot for the day time. I would recommend getting a golf cart as it is a little farther out from the center of town and parking is very hard to find but was easy with a golf cart. My only complaint was the hot water not working pretty much the entire time we were there so didn’t get a hot shower the entire time we were there but the hosts communicated a lot with us as well.
