Vacaciones de verano o escapada de invierno, este lugar seguramente te enamorará de Cape May. A solo tres cuadras de Ocean Drive en Idaho Avenue, encontrarás este clásico bungalow de Cape May. La casa tiene todo lo que cualquier familia o pareja necesitaría durante una semana en el verano de una escapada romántica de invierno. Completamente renovado por las manos de un hermano muy especial y mi esposo, sin mencionar una cocina nueva, Wi-Fi gratis ... lavadora / secadora, ..... ¡Demasiadas comodidades para enumerar!

Toallas, ropa de cama y ropa de playa no están incluidos. Hemos subcontratado a la mejor compañía de ropa de cama en Cape May. Deberá llamar a Linen Ladies, allí se puede encontrar el número y su pedido se puede hacer en línea: dejan todas las sábanas requeridas que desea el día de su llegada y las recogen todas el día de su partida.

This was a lovely place to call home base for a family wedding in Cape May. It was conveniently located and the layout allowed us to be able to bring dogs. Directions were clear, and we so enjoyed having an indoor sitting room. Internet, tv, etc. was so easy to use and cleaning supplies made it easy as we were packing up!

Cozy and Well Located Cape May Getaway

It was a lovely stay- accommodations lovely with only issue we had was that the bed in the master bedroom was, in fact a Full Size Bed and not a queen in size (only one queen bed of the three bedrooms). The host was very accommodating and location was perfect.

One of the bedrooms was unusable due to a mattress with a stain and an overwhelming musty smell. We had our baby and 4 year old with us, which made the advertised 3 bedroom house difficult to make comfortable. In addition, the roses cover the key lock which made it difficult to find and easily get the keys out. The location and neighborhood were great, but this was not as advertised. The dishwasher wasn’t even fastened to the counter and the door that held the garbage can was broken. For paying over 1000 in fees, this was a regrettable stay.

Great spot!

Had a very nice stay in Cape May. Quiet part of island, easy walk to beach. A bit of a walk to shops/restaurants, but doable. We preferred to drive.

Nice backyard, few blocks from the beach.

Solid home in a great, quiet part of town. The home provided everything we needed for us as a family with 2 young children. Quaint backyard was a nice place to hang in the evening after spending all day at the beach (few blocks away). Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family gathering in a quieter part of town.

Winter Getaway

We've vacationed in Cape May for decades and even visited the town in winter but never stayed there for a few days. This location was an easy walk down to the beach with our little Cavalier and the drive into town was only a few minutes. There was plenty to do in town but we were also cozy at home playing board games at the kitchen table. It's hard to plan something with your adult children but this was the perfect place to reconnect and still have space to spread out.

Perfect Spot for a Family Vacation

Taylor was great to work with! He was incredibly responsive every step of the way and made our experience a great one. The home is a charming spot for a family, just a quick walk to the beach and close to all the spots that make Cape May so special. Looking forward to coming back!

Awesome Cape May Charmer!

The property exceeded our expectations. Plenty of areas for sitting and relaxing. Wonderfully thoughtfully decorated. Relaxing out door area, very good location. Hosts are responsive and extremely helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend!

Not a happy camper

Let me start by saying, Cape May is beautiful and the locations was good. But, They say there is a fenced in yard, there is not. So if you do bring a dog, bring a runner.The beds were so uncomfortable, I had to sleep on the couch.The tv did not work, we had to hook up my lap top to watch tv.Shower curtain in bathroom was gross, had mold on it. Frig was dirty. Some of the windows would not open.It just seems like a lot of money to spend for 3 days to have this many problems.

Multiple issues

Mouse droppings each morning in kitchen, sink and floor in front of sink. Also noted in closet where trash is. Air conditioners very loud. Lower level bathroom with only shower was very small and toilet very difficult to use. Attempted to use chairs from the garage for beach and they were broken. Photos make rooms look much bigger than they are. Cost was greater than value for where it was located. We have stayed in Cape May more than 30 times over the years and only this time were we as disappointed. Will not return.

Wonderfully cozy quiet cottage

This is a perfect cottage for a small family, a friends getaway or a quiet retreat. Although it is small, it is more than adequate. There is a well equiped kitchen, a lovely master suite and plenty of outdoor seating with a front porch and back deck. There is also a sunroom/screened in porch. The cottage is located in a residential section of Cape May away for the touristy area so it is very quiet. Unlike many beach towns in New Jersey, the street is tree lined and the evergreens in the backyard provide privacy. My 86 yr old sister loved sitting on the front porch watching all the people and dogs go by. The beds (mattresses) and pillows were of good quality and comfortable which is at times a rarity at a beach rental. The owner/manager was open to suggestions for improvement ie pegs or hooks to hang clothes, outdoor clothesline. He was very nice to work with since it is his mother's home. Thank you so much, Taylor and Yoko for sharing your very special place with our family. Looking forward to returning!!

Charming home...except for mice

Charming house with lovely private backyard. The rooms are somewhat small.Not a big deal for a vacation home But there is also not much storage for clothing.Particularly in the upper bedrooms. There is only one closet in the whole house for hanging clothing and that was mostly filled. We had about twelve inches of closet space for 3 adults. There is the smell of mold on the first floor of the house. On the 3rd day my allergies were beginning to bother me.So this may not be the house for you if you have an allergy to mold. The biggest problem we had is the mice in the home.Every morning I was cleaning droppings off of the floor and the countertops in the kitchen. And occasionally saw critters scamper across the floor even though lights were on. We did not prep food in the home and stored all snacks on containers. Owners definitely need exterminator services.

Cozy and Charming

The house looked exactly as listed. The location is fantastic and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. We enjoyed our stay as it was nice to have the full amenities of being home and cooking the food that we like and prefer to eat. It worked perfectly for our whole family to spend time together. Did want to flag that there is a water leak in the back room leading to the backyard. When it stormed on Friday and Saturday, water was leaking from the lightbulb. Also, we found droppings from what we believe looked like from mice in the closet where the pots and pans are located. My husband discovered it and cleaned it all out. One other detail for future is that the grill looked like it wasn't cleaned in a very long time. We did some cleaning but feel it should be cleaned thoroughly after the winter in preparation for renters to use. Thereafter, those that use it should then clean it after each use which is how it should be. Highly appreciated the responsive of the family to my questions. Using the house to cover the mother's care is a great idea and wish the whole family the very best. Thank you for entrusting in us to stay in your home for our vacation.

Lovely Cape May Home!

We stayed at this property for two weeks and it was perfect. Cute and cozy space, but still enough room for a family of four plus a dog. Great yard, great neighborhood, and easy walk to the beach. Definitely will stay here again.

Great Time

We had a great time and our 2 and 4 year old girls were easily amused by the 4 different outdoor seating spaces. The covered front porch made a rainy day fun for people watching. Close enough to everything around.
