Close to excellent food. Long walk to beach.

Block and a half from Beach it’s a long block. My children had to take a lot of things up to the beach for their children. Next time we would get a house closer to the beach. The place was clean. The highchair they provided was very dirty. The icemaker on the refrigerator didn’t work well very little ice. The bedspreads were well worn.

We stayed at "Violet Views" for our families annual Ocean City beach Vacation. It was an amazing place to stay!The property itself was amazing, and there were so many small details that made it even better than we were expecting: -Our little girls (7, 5, 3) absolutely loved the bunk bed room (all three stayed together), and the kiddo toys kept them plenty occupied when resting from the beach. -The night-light fixtures, and the fans in all the rooms were fantastic, for sleeping. -The "play room" was a hit with the littles, and with us (since its off the master suite), since it meant the littles could be in there "early morning" when we were still resting, LOL.-The Primary Bedroom is AMAZING. Its fantastic.-The bathrooms and showers were fantastic, as well. Rare in the rentals we have stayed in, for sure.-The kitchen was a dream. We cooked a lot of meals all week, and the stove/oven/fridge/coffee amenities were all fantastic, too. -The outdoor shower was great, and it was an ACTUAL outdoor shower! Hot/warm water, a door, and it was great for de-sanding all five of us, after beach runs. -The front porch was a dream, for relaxing. Plenty of seating (including the picnic table for meals, which we used for dinner every night). -Parking was great! Even with a massive SUV, it was perfect. Easily fit both cars in.-The owners were great, too: Lots of communication about access, check in, check out, reminders, etc.Will definitely come back next year, if we can!

The patio was a favorite of mine. I hung out there every moment we were home.
Laundry room was AMAZING. (Love the epoxy river countertop)
Parking was great. We were even able to open doors to get kiddos in and out.

Summer Send Off

Very much enjoyed our stay and appreciate the responsiveness of Vanessa and Evan. There was a little miscommunication regarding the amenities of the property but not a big deal. The property was nice and great for a young family. Better yet, the weather cooperated and gave us a great beach experience before heading into fall. Would recommend the property.

Great location and space for a fall beach getaway.

We love the north end of OCNJ, so loved this location on 1st street. We were able to accommodate our entire group of friends and family in the clean and well-appointed rooms. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Perfect for Our Daughter's Wedding Weekend

Our daughter was married at the OC Yacht Club and the third floor suite was the ideal spot for the bridal party to get ready, with plenty of space for hair and make-up, and dressing. Super-clean, all you could possibly need for your stay. Owners thought of everything! Eleven adult family members fit very comfortably. Quiet area of the island but easily accessible and close to beach/boardwalk. This lovely property made our special weekend easier and more enjoyable than we even hoped!

Thanks for a great vacation!

Thank you for a great OCNJ beach week! Upon arrival, the house was extremely clean. The master suite was beautiful. My children loved the bunk beds and playing with the toys and board games! The house had everything we needed. The location is a bit of a walk to the boardwalk but we loved that the beach location was quieter and a bit less crowded at the north end. We enjoyed takeout from Island Grill right across the street and a delicious breakfast at Doozey’s about 2 blocks away. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

Beautiful and relaxing

Stayed with my husband and two of my three kids this past week.. the house is in a perfect location, is clean and updated. There are so many amenities with the house. We loved the outside shower and sitting on the second floor deck as it is always Breezy there. It is so convenient having bernardo's Deli right across the street. I would absolutely recommend this house to others and we definitely intend to come back.

Great place to stay with family

We had a great week staying in this house with our extended family. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had prior to and during our stay. The location was quiet, away from the busiest parts of the city, but still a quick walk to the beach and boardwalk.

GREAT FAMILY VACATION VACATION

This property is spacious and clean. So close to the 1st street beach and next to a deli and 2 Great restaurants (Island Grill and Cousins). Biking the area is safe and fun for the whole family. We rented bikes. We had a wonderful vacation and highly recommend this property.

Great Location!

Great location to get to everything, restaurants, boardwalk, downtown, even the docks on the bay (party boat fishing and boat rentals). The home had plenty of space and a great deck.

Just right

We arrived to a perfectly clean ready house with loads of amenities. Nicely situated and comfortable. We could not have asked for more. The owners were patient and available with answers. Great vacation

First time staying on this end of OC, beach was less crowded than boardwalk beach. House had great amenities and master bedroom was very nice. Communication with owner was great.

First trip to Ocean City

As close to perfect as possible without being on the beach (lol). Everything was there that we needed for little ones as well as adult's.Talked with owners and they were terrific, pleasant and helpful. May need help...I goofed and left my surface case at the house. In the pocket is my hot spot and its charger tail. Would greatly appreciate help getting it mailed back to me.Left vmail and text with owner, waiting on feedback.

Great Time!

Wonderful stay at the shore. Across the street from Island grill and a deli making eating easy! And between 2 ice cream shops! What more could you ask for. Clean… decorated adorable and tons of amenities. Only cons .. it is on the second floor if you have anyone with trouble on stairs.

Family Vacation

My family and I (my mother, sister, nephew, husband, 2 year old, 9 month old, and dog) enjoyed our stay at Violet Views. The check-in process was smooth. From the moment we arrived until we left we found the location to be beyond ideal. The deli across the street had friendly workers and everything one could need. The restaurant on the other corner had amazing food and speedy service. We had take out our second night and ate it on the outside deck. It was a perfect situation. Speaking of the outside deck, it is the perfect spot to have your morning coffee and afternoon/evening cocktail. The house was a perfect size for the 6 of us- despite the kitchen being small. Lastly, the outside shower, beach cart, and beach chairs came in handy. I would recommend Violet Views to anyone looking for a clean place that is a quick walk to the beach with many bonus features. Wonderful week with family and pup

I appreciated the owners allowing us to bring our dog. She enjoyed the north side of OC as much as we did. We didn’t use our car all week as this was a good location for everything. Only downside, the listing states 4 bikes, but only 2 are usable. If sharing the master bed, the larger person needs to sleep on the inside, or the mattress tilts. That said, the owners provided many amenities that most listings do not. Ie, snack basket, paper towels, TP, all cleaning products. Lastly, Bernardos market sells many necessities. We didn’t need to get much from Acme. It was a great week!

The balcony was the best!

This was the first year that our family beach week outgrew the property where we stayed in the North end of OC for the past 40 years, and this was a great option! It was comfortable and well-stocked with the essentials. (Just a little suggestion: either provide hand towels in the kitchen and bathroom, or add a note to bring them in addition to your own bath and beach towels.) The outside shower was a bonus, especially with only 1 bathroom. Our only frustration that wasn't communicated to us ahead of time (and still isn't noted on the current VRBO listing) was that the pictured living room furniture was replaced with a great sectional; however, it was no longer a queen sofabed. The replacement was a queen-size air mattress, which was okay for our young adult children, but would not have been okay for some adults and probably shouldn't be counted in the number of "beds available" at this property. That was our reason for our less than 5 on the Accuracy of the Online Listing. It really IS a great property, and we would definitely stay there again!

We've aptly named this wonderful place "Violet Views" after our younger daughter Violet. We love seeing life through her eyes, which to us, makes the perfect view :)

We bought this property with our family and yours in mind - perfect location near everything you'd need, close enough to the beach/boardwalk with avoiding crowds, and ample parking and deck space. We've kept in mind what renters might want in the perfect beach property to make it as comfortable as possible. If you think of anything else, please don't hesitate to ask or make a request!

Corner lot with great outdoor porch steps away from the only deli on the island and convenient dining across the street! A large private driveway for 2 cars, use of 4 bikes and beach equipment and a beautifully decorated space makes for the perfect shore getaway!
