Relaxation

The unit was near and clean and perfectly located. The Murphy bed is really comfortable. I would highly recommend it. I went to relax and I certainly did.

Paradise

the location of the property is perfect. You have the best view perched on the top level of building overlooking the boardwalk and the beach. The unit is spotless and comfortable. This year things are more quiet at the beach with fewer people. Everyone is following the rules and most things are open.

All it's cracked up to be and MORE!

We had a wonderful week staying in unit 804 of the Star of the Sea. It was spotlessly clean and well fitted out with dishes, cutlery, pots 'n' pans - although we did almost no cooking. Management has made everything so convenient - even providing big blue wheeled bins so you don't have to make endless trips down to the car to unload and then load back up when checking out. Very thoughtful. The photos don't do it the unit justice, really. The view is spectacular. We spent lots of time just sitting on our balcony gazing at the ocean and people-watching. The view from the 8th floor was just perfect. The Murphy bed was very comfortable, and situated so that we could sit up in bed and watch the sun rise. Spectacular. Staying in October meant it was quiet and there were few people around. I can imagine it's a lot busier in the summer. We also appreciated the COVID rule requiring masks in the public areas of the building and the safety features - all exterior doors requiring a key to enter. Superb spot. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Convenient and Nice

The building is right on the beach making it convenient for running back up to the room for lunch and breaks. The views were fantastic and the balcony felt almost as if sitting on the beach without being in the sand. The kitchen was well appointed. The only negatives are very minor. The shower could use updates. The water temperature and flow were hard to manage. The Murphy bed was adequate but the cleaning staff may forget to pull it down to clean. Just be prepared to wipe down the ledges where you may put your glasses, etc. The vertical blinds let in a lot of light in the morning with the sunrise. Beautiful but not enticing if you like it dark to sleep in, I would take a sleeping mask next time.

Great high ocean perch

We loved our stay. Place was clean, well laid out for smart use of limited space. Amazing ocean views from the highest floor. This unit actually provided plenty of little helpful amenities: 2 coffee makers, blender, kitchen and bath soap, paper towels and TP, drying rack for those towels and swim suit. All appliances worked well, including a nice ceiling fan and the cable tv. Murphy bed worked fine. Bathroom and water pressure in shower was great. Building’s outdoor pool was great alternative when beach too crowded. Great on-site staff.
