Host interaction was fine. The house was the only available place when we needed a last minute place for coming in to see our son, so we were grateful for it. But wouldn't choose it again. It's old, outdated and not very comfortable accommodation. Ceiling in kitchen falling in and left insulation & dust on counter, bathrooms were just pretty ruff.

Everything was good and enjoyable. I could see this home being a great rental for a group or family trying to visit the area. The only issue we had was the hottub didn't work and the front door lock needs to be jiggled to open it.

This home has some charm, but lacks care. The carpet is beyond wanting your feet or socks to touch it, and needs to be ripped out. The downstairs has charm, the upstairs needs serious renovation. Im certain there is balck mold all upstairs as i have a severe sensitivity to it, and i could not sleep upstairs. I had to sleep on the couch downstairs, otherwise i got a huge headache. The quilts on the bed had stains that im pretty sure meant the previous people had an enjoyable time and also had dog hair on the sheets- not just some gair here and there, a lot of hair. We stripped the beds and used sheets we brought, just in case- thank goodness we did. Downstairs just hadnt been cleaned in awhile. Tables were not mopped under, there were dust bunnies, firniture had not been dusted, and the diningroom table had dog hair and dust on it as well. When you book a place to stay, you expect a level of cleanliness, a d unfortunately this place was far from clean. The moat disappointing part though was the hot tub. I asked 2 different people on 2 different occaions before i booked this place if the hot tub would be working, because previous comments said they were told it worked, but when they arrived it did not work. THE HOT TUB WAS NOT WORKING AND I DOUBT IT EVER DOES. When asked what they could do to make it right, i asked for some money back ecause i would have booked a different place that had a working hot tub, and i was told they would get back with me.......still waiting

The house was great, the only complaint was that one of the reasons we booked it was for the hot tub, which was inoperable. I called and messaged but never heard back from the owner / management so we were unable to use that amenity during our stay.

Well I got a 65 "refund" for my troubles of so theres that..... the hot tub was broken, the back yard was trashy. Weeds grown up & fence all jacked up. We couldnt let our dog out w/o a leash. These were 2 BIG reqsons we chose this place. Hot tub & fenced in back yard. Then half the appliances didnt work & there were ANTS all in the kitchen!!!!!

Franklin house

Property was close to hocking hills and Athens. The house has its quirks.It is very big and was good for a long weekend stay. We were a bit disappointed when we got to the house and saw that the hot tub was out of order. The sealing in the kitchen was falling the corner and it wasn’t as clean as we’d like. The town did have a great Italian bakery and coffee shop.

Big house quiet neighborhood

The property was clean and the beds were comfy. You check in down the street at a business about 5 minutes away. They were pretty clear about some amenities may not be available. The hot tub was not ready for use. The neighborhood is quiet. Overall it was a good stay and we would stay again. Bonus close to Hocking Hills

Great Stay

A quiet neighborhood just know it is not an upscale neighborhood but the charm and the quietness is awesome. Loved the huge front porch all the hardwood in the home. Wallpaper was very outdated but brings charm to the home. Awesome hot tub and the fact you don’t have to park on the side of the street

Disappointed in some things

Well The biggest disappointment was the hot tub. It did not look like the one that was in the picture. This one the sides were falling off it was not full they had to send Amanda fill it which he did but by the next day it was full of hundreds of gnats because he did not repair the size it need nail up in place and Nat's got in there terrible so we never could use it and that was one of the main reasons I picked this place because it was a girls weekend and we were going to be sitting in the hot tub. I think I should be compensated for that. And the bathroom was kind of rough not bad I mean clean wise it was fine it was just it looked like it needed some new paint ,wallpaper things like that

A nice visit to Nelsonville

We enjoyed staying at this property, it met our needs and had a nice backyard. A older home, but was what we were looking for as far as size and location.

Really old house

While I rated this property a 5 based on the questionnaire, the house needs a ton of work. We were there for just a few days I wouldn't have stayed longer. The location was great for our needs. The beds were not comfortable for people in their 70s.

Stayed at this property to hike in Hocking Hills area, visit Columbus. House was very clean and as described. Was able to cook for our family with the kitchen items provided. Great stay.

Very Dated

The house is very dated. There is only one full bath when the listing shows 2. The hot tub broke a couple of days into our 6 week stay, The kitchen faucet broke while we were trying to hook the dishwasher up. There were leaking pipes in the ceiling. The cleaning staff never showed up to clean the house. We called about all of these issues and were told they would fix them but never did

Nice house

The house was very nice, but little dated. I loved the wood work and the furnishings were very comfortable. It had plenty of space to roam, and spread out. We loved the hot tub. It was clean, warm and the perfect spot to relax after a long day of hiking. I would stay again.

Fun old house

Exactly has described. It is a beautiful old house with original wood, windows, etc. Comfortable beds, walkable area and house was stocked with everything needed for meals at home. Would stay again.

The check in process was easy. The house was clean and neat. The hot tub was a bit dirty. The neighborhood is a little off putting, but overall the place was good.
