Vacation

The property is “clean”,however, the ceiling fan in the bedroom looks like a wilted flower. The bathroom connected to the bedroom has a cheap two sided tape stuck to the tub where you cannot rest your arms. The ceiling has dust all over it and there is an area in the living room where the ceiling is literally fall off. I know you get what you pay for, BUT I have never experienced this before with renting through Vacasa. My first day up I was needing to contact them for broken chairs on the balcony, which were replaced immediately. I also received an email/text regarding a maintenance call for the garbage disposal, which had to be fixed that first day we checked in. The location and cafe was amazing. I just felt that it took 24 hours to get my vacation started and I was on their time not mine. It was quite aggravating. They did give me a little refund. Oh, also, I never received a message about the place being ready early. The resort checked us in because it was ready. Anyway, I won’t stay here again. This was just a quick trip for my son and his friend.

Pull-out couch didn't have any sheets or blankets Nasty carpet in living room and bedroom (Replace with tile) Popcorn ceilings New appliances in the kitchen are nice No ice maker Bunkbeds creak and moan with any movement (very loud) Bedroom fan is about to fall apart Living room fan doesn't work TV in living room is awful Need better seating for patio

Website pictures deceiving

This unit was disappointing. Did not look like the photos which were likely from yrs ago.Living room seating was inadequate - no other seating aside from uncomfortable couch. Barstools too short for kitchen counter. Mattresses on bunk beds were like rocks. Paint chips falling from kitchen ceiling and living room ceiling by sliding glass door. Not much thought given to small things that might make the unit more welcoming. Master bedroom toilet was broken when we arrived

Disappointed

Unfortunately this room was not up to par and could use a major deep clean. I would not recommend this specific room if you’re wanting to feel refreshed and clean as I felt on edge having to make sure my belongings were in my bag and not touching the floor. The Pelican Beach, itself, is very nice as you can see they’re working to make it nicer everyday. The location and the pool walking out to the beach was perfect.

Family beach trip

Loved the beach access and the pools. Really appreciate the TiKi bar and the live music! Super close to our favorite restaurants!

Can't go wrong at Pelican Beach

We've always enjoyed our stay at Pelican Beach and this time was no different. The amenities of Pelican are always top notch. The unit has room for improvement but all in all my family and I were happy with it.

Beautiful view and comfortable place to stay!

My family and I enjoyed the amazing view of the beach and water on the balcony, the option of pools, and the quick access and short walk to the beach! The water was slightly cold so it was nice to have heated pools. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Nice balcony view. New appliances. Dirty and noisy bad parking for trucks

Told to ck in early. Code was wrong. Had to wait 25 minutes for texts and calls to get door code. Then changed again in 4 days to original code??? Floors had hair and dirt on our wet feet. Tables were not clean. Urine on toilets face and pubic hair under other seat. Couch had stains so we used bunk bed sheet to cover it up. Black mold in shower seals and it leaks. Tp holder non existent in master so sat it on tub edge which i also had to wipe hair out of! Stoves new but leans back 2 inches so water runs to back of pans. We called week before and were told construction was done but a bit in front. 🙄 It was literally two doors down and started at 8:00 and was unable to block it out even with earplugs we got at walmart! So never ever got to sleep in on our rnr vacation!!! Foam insulation crud was blowing all over in the room and in pool and onto beach from the workers there. Very littery for the maids and environment! The bed had huge worn out body dips that we rolled into so we had to rotate the mattress and remake the bed to sleep at even level! We had to clean when we got there and buy a heavy blanket to use bc the top slick sheet would not stay on the bed and was sooo thin. Cheap cheap. Appliances look nice and table sets nice and balcony view is whats worth it. Wont go again to this room or with construction for sure

Don’t Stay Here!

I have stayed at pelican beach several times. Hence why I opted to stay there again. It has always been a pleasant experience, until this time. The unit was abysmal. There was one rusty chair out on the balcony, the furniture in the pictures online did not match what was in the unit. the cabinets were peeling. The general condition of the place was uncared for. The furniture looked like something out of a garage sale. Very disappointed will never stay here again literally, false advertising.

Great location, interior needs attention

We love the location and 3 pools. The beach service option was great but we needed info on this before arriving as they sold out each day. The master bed was wrapped in heavy duty plastic that was loud and uncomfortable. Twin beds were great addition but uncomfortable & noisy, which meant one of our children slept on the couch. Curtains were broken and there was no toilet paper holder in the master bedroom. We still enjoyed getting to be on the beach but some care is needed on the interior.

The view by far was exceptional . However the furnishings need to be updated. The bed needs to have the plastic taken off of the mattress and would probably make it sleep better. The couch has seen its better days and should be replaced. A comfortable chair would be nice in the living room. It was also very clean.we overlooked these things and had a good time. The location was great.

Room was horrible not at all how it was listed! The furniture was old, walls scratched up, TV’s did not work, mattress had an old plastic cover that crinkled and crunched at slightest move! We will never stay in that unit again!

Worst Rental Ever

READ ALL THE REVIEWS FOR THIS UNIT. You will see the same complaints over and over going back a couple of years with nothing being done to improve things. Vacasa responds to every complaint with the same generic message. If I would have read the reviews, I would have NEVER blown my money on it. I can use only 1500 words on here, so bear with me. Check in was a nightmare. Code provided did not work. Had to call Vacasa as we stood in the sweltering sun with all our luggage. We got a code at 4:25 meaning we lost money on the unit because of the time lost over the debacle. Had to call twice to resolve code issues. The unit is WAY out of date. A ripoff for the price. The pics on the website are a lie. On the balcony, only one rusty chair and a rusty table. Bulbs were blown throughout the unit. There is not a sofa and chair as pictured, only one, lumpy sofa, so if there are more than 2 people, someone is sitting on the dingy, brown carpet. The master bed had a thick plastic cover and the fitted sheet did not fit leaving you sleeping on hot plastic. The handicapped parking is a half mile away from the entrance, so beware if you have someone with mobility issues. The bedroom TV remote doesnt work, so you're stuck with one channel. I'm not able to list everything on here because youre limited to 1500 words. Do yourself a favor and scroll on by this unit or expect EXTREME discomfort.

A horrible experience!

We were schedule to arrive at 4 pm and was unable to get in because the code did not work. We didn’t get in until 4:25pm. We then walked in to a smell that was unbearable. The dishwasher was clogged. The tv did not work. The appearance was nothing like the online pictures. Horrible!

Love the resort, not the room

The stay was okay. We received a text that we were able to check in and when we got to the room the door was open, about 10 mins later the maintenance man just barged in. It was very outdated, the light in the bedroom was very delayed it took a minimum of 10 seconds to actually turn on, there was old food left under the tv stand. We will stay at the resort again but not this room.
