BEACH SERVICES: Beach services at the Resorts of Pelican Beach is provided by La Dolce Vita. Hours are 9am to 5pm from March 1st through October 31st. All beach services are managed by La Dolce Vita under agreement with the Pelican Beach Resort Owners' Association. Policies are applicable to all guests and owners of the resort. Beach setups may be rented directly on the beach the day of, based on availability.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This condo is located in our favorite resort to stay. The beach was very nice. The condo could have been better maintained, the pictures of it are poorly outdated. The whole condo was very dirty upon arrival and we had to clean everything. Definitely bring your own cookware, very little available there, we had to buy a pan and baking sheet. Very little silverware, glasses etc. we washed dishes twice a day for our family of 6. No knife set to do cooking with. It’s very basic, but it’s on the beach. We would not book this place again. It’s right next to the elevator and laundry room which are outside the master bedroom window. Vacasa is the property management company and they were very nice to deal with.

Ok, but wouldn’t stay here again.

It’s not cool how 50 percent of the beach on the right and left they have markes as “private.” And apparently you have to rent umbrellas a year out if you don’t want to sit on the 6th row. We ended up not going to the beach at the condo for that reason. If I can’t see my kids playing in the ocean it’s a no go for me. Also, we got a call from security saying someone reported us for smoking on the balcony which was false, we weren’t even in the room all day. (Like I said we had to go to a different beach.) Seems the owners here are very upity and annoyed that tourists come.

This room is in horrible condition. Peeling paint. Holes in the bathroom where there once was a towel rack. Some kind of adhesive is all over the entrance way tile. Only good thing is the view

HAZARD for children

Unfortunately I have to give this condo a 1 star review. -mold on the bathroom shower curtain. - electrical outlet was exposed and did not have a cover on it properly. (Safety hazard for small children) - water heater wires exposed ( safety hazard for small children) - bed sheets on top bunk had black hair all over it.(likely from a dog) - bunk bed had chipping paint. - couch bed had no sheets and stains on mattress cover. - roach on balcony. - scratch marks all over walls. - missing paint on baseboards. - stains on kitchen chairs and couch. - sink in kitchen will make aloud noise when water is turned on. - ceiling paint is peeling in multiple rooms. - baseboards behind toilet look to rotten.

Pictures are deceiving.

We love Pelican Beach and have stayed at the resort several times. Unfortunately, this condo was very disappointing. It had been cleaned by staff, but everything needs updating. The couch was very dirty and stained, and couch bed very uncomfortable. The bunks were so uncomfortable, they couldn’t be utilized. The walls/baseboards were very dirty and scraped up. Not many dishes or linens. Towels were very small and thin in one bathroom. Tile grout very dirty. No extra blankets. I know it’s extra, but no games/books/puzzles /beach items like most condos have to enjoy. The tv was very small in living room. No coffee table or anything to prop legs up on. The shower head in master bedroom was nice, and the view was excellent. Also, the code to get into the room was only good for 15 min after check in. We were a few minutes late and had to call vacasa to get them to reset it. My advice, check reviews! Pictures can be deceiving. Will stay at Pelican Beach again, but in another condo.

Needs upgrading

Overall it was clean. Floors need more cleaning. But the place needs a great deal of work. All the floorboards are damaged and old. Tv stand is old and looks horrible. The couch is worn and stained bad! Tv in the living room could be upgraded. It's a small tv and doesn't show fill the screen size. No remotes could fix it. Maintenance came in as we were just starting to unpack for a water leak under the sink. Pictures do not match the quality of furniture inside or the balcony.

2024 family vacation

The best views. But that’s about all. There was lots of construction work going on during our stay so it was very noisy and the parking lot was a mess with cones and railing's everywhere. Windows were broken on multiple floors of the resort. Also they only had 2 elevators working which made coming and going a pain. The furniture was way out dated and the bunk beds don’t look safe. We all had to sleep in the same bed due to this issue. The pictures they show are way nicer than the actual room. Please beware this place is over priced and outdated.

Great Place! Amazing view. Outdated Amenities

The place could you a little sprucing up. It still has a VCR DVD combo. The couch also looked a little beat up. Place doesn't seem like it has gotten an update in quite a long time. I loved the rest of the place though.

RUN! DON’T STAY HERE!

This was the absolute worst condo I have ever stayed in! Where do I begin? To start, the place was not clean whatsoever! The furniture is beyond disgusting - black and brown spots all over the couch, so many stains that we refused to even sit on the couch. The pull out bed should not even be considered a bed. There were no pillow cases on the pillows and they were yellow and brown. We had to cover the bed with our own blankets and clothes and towels just to be able to lay on it without feeling disgusted. I killed over 10 bugs in the first couple hours that looks like ticks. Whoever stayed in the condo before us, their dirty towels were still in the bathroom!!!!! No one in my family owns/wears makeup and all the towels had makeup all over them! Also, looks like there’s mold in the bathroom and maybe outside. I saved for 2 years to be able to give my kids a nice vacation and 2 of my kids cried every time they had to use the bathroom because it was so filthy! Oh and the sinks don’t drain and the TV’s didn’t even work!! We had one channel. Don’t expect management to be any kind of help! They don’t care! I even went to the office physically and the guy at the front pretended like the manager was busy in meetings (on a Sunday) and couldn’t help me. I want a full refund and I am going to write a review on every platform, report the mold to the health department, and anything else necessary! All I wanted was a call back and to resolve this amicably but obviously they don’t want that

Great location, nice resort but condo was not the best

The location was great, right on the beach and close to waterpark, restaurants and shops. The resort was nice. Has a cafe as well as a beach tiki bar for food and drinks by the beach. The resort chairs and umbrellas take up several rows of the beach. We purchased online prior to arrival to ensure we had one close to the water and paid double what it cost to purchase if you wait until you arrive. The condo was easy to check in. The furniture needs cleaned or replaced. It is stained and has mildew on the dining chairs and couch. The bunk beds are extremely uncomfortable. We were pretty disappointed in the overall condition.

Our Stay

The unit was exactly as described...the view was perfect... the only issue we had was with the beach rental chairs...they took up 90% of the beach & the first 3 rows were reserved for weeks...we would have loved to have been offered the chance to rent & pay for the chairs ahead of time but we werent offered that. That is the only thing that I would have changed

Honeymoon Horrors

This condo was the worst we have ever stayed in. I have called and spoken to the Vacasa staff to get in touch with the property manager but the property manager will not call back. I have put in multiple requests for a refund or relocation due to the listing being a night and day difference to the condo we actually got. We were offered a relocation just two days before we were supposed to leave. We would have been fine with that if it was offered day one when I called but at that point it would have been more of an inconvenience for us. I stated if we were going to be relocated that would be fine but I want a refund too. Vacasa staff gave us a $250 refund for the cleaning and booking fee but were unable to give a full refund without the property manager approval. The furniture was so disgusting we laid a sheet over the couch to sit on it, the lights didn’t work, the outlets would only allow you to plug in one thing at a time, the kitchen table chairs were so disgusting you would lose your appetite, etc. This was supposed to be our Honeymoon trip for us to relax and get away. But that’s hard to do when you’re so uncomfortable. We stayed as little time as possible in the room. I had to call everyday to attempt to get our issues corrected but unfortunately the property manager and cleaning staff never came. I will never stay here again. I plan to post a review with pictures so people see exactly what they’re getting when they stay here.

3 S's - Sh!t, Shower & Sleep

This unit was not much to be desired. If you are looking for a place to simply have a bathroom and sleep, then this MIGHT be your type unit. There was absolutely no personal touch of any sort to this unit whatsoever. The unit was directly off the elevator and fire escape so it was extremely loud at all hours of the night. The master bedroom is right in the front door so you hear everything and the bedroom could desperately use some darkening shades as it is lite up from the hallway lights all night long. There were holes in the master bedroom walls that had not bothered to be repaired from where the door had been slammed back into the wall. No bed in the entire unit had anything other than a sheet and a thin blanket on them. No extras were to be found anywhere in the unit. (This was a complaint from a previous review months ago and the property management company stated they would reach out to the owner to make ensure these were added.) The kitchen had the bare minimum of things needed. No cleaner of any sort to wipe down anything. The cabinets were literally bear of anything other than a few plates, bowls and cups. The stove top had food burned on it and had not been cleaned in quite some time. The living room furniture looked like it was just picked up from the local thrift store. When you sat on the chase lounge end your rear end sunk lower than your feet. You could only sit there for a short amount of time before your back began to hurt. For a unit to sleep up to 6, my family of 4 had a hard time sitting together unless someone wanted to sit in one of the dining table chairs, which also needed a good cleaning and had what appeared to be black mold growing on the seat cushions. There were 2 TVs in the unit but only 1 TV remote, so we could only use 1 at a time or someone had to run back and forth with the remote anytime anyone wanted to change the channel or the volume. Unit in general just needs some major TLC. The floors of the unit were not clean when we arrived either. I understand sand on the floor as you are at the beach, but your feet should not be completely black from walking around barefoot in your vacation rental. For the amount of money and fees you pay to rent this, you would think that cracks/holes in the walls, base moulding that that is ruined due to water damage would be repaired when needed and cleaning companies would clean to a higher standard. Pelican Beach itself was fantastic! Amazing pools & beach!

Not what we expected

The unit wasn’t very clean, the furniture was outdated, broken down, and dirty. There was sand all in the floor, hairs and dirt under the mattresses(we had to lift it up when my daughter dropped her charger) or we may have never noticed it. There was what looked like a blood stain on one of the pillows on the couch. The units smell was over powering, we couldn’t even stay in the room long. They didn’t even paint behind the toilet in the bathroom, just left it. We tried to reach out several times after finding other reviews of the unit to see if we could switch. Lots of wasted money. It has potential, if all of these things would be addressed. It does have a beautiful view and it’s close to the elevator.

I wish I could post pictures here. I will put that on my google reviews. The stay was horrible, to say the least. There was water damage and the furniture was dingy. At one point there were workers on the balcony. They got to work at 7:00am on Saturday and did not stop until dark. It was so loud that I had to take headache meds. I'm glad I was not in the buff when the lift came up with workers on it on the balcony by 8:00 am. My husband works for the Air National Guard and the workers were louder than a plane taking off. I am immunocompromised and the floors were nasty and there was mildew in the bathroom and all over the shower curtain. I bleached that and it went back to white. It is not that hard. I digress.
