The owner has been funding major updates since your comments came in: Replacing all of the towels, updating bedding, repairing and replacing all of the items noted, paid for a professional company to come do a complete deep cleaning of the home, changed housekeeping companies, replaced the mattress and bedding, replaced the front door lock system and dealt with the patio items noted. We had mentioned these items to the owner over a period of time, but your comments finally got to funding to get things moving. The place looks amazing. We appreciate your help in the matter. Hi Elizabeth. It was a pleasure having you as a guest and thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that the property did not suit your needs. We are consistently striving to make sure that our guests have a five star experience. As you recall we made every effort to promptly address any items that you perceived were of concern to you during your visit. Also we investigated your accusation that $120/night (all inclusive) was "double" a Peak Season rate in Palm Springs from Dec 21-Jan 21 during Christmas and New Years and could not find any justification for your comment that the rate should have been set at $60/night for the holidays, including utilities. We are confident that the posted rate is at or below market for the south Palm Springs location, of this 2BR/2 Bath home overlooking the pool for peak season. The condo was remodeled/updated just prior to the owner purchasing it 2 years ago, which was the reason for her purchase so your "outdated" comment was a bit puzzling. The $195 cleaning fee is at or below normal for this size home and the housekeepers are "hotel" trained to all current CDC/Covid standards. Two days following your departure, a new couple arrived to stay for a 2 month visit. We followed up with them to see if everything is okay and to get their feedback. It was very important to determine just how justified your concerns might be through an independent source, starting with an interview of the new guests. The new guest stated that they are enjoying the property immensely and promptly booked it again for next year because they are "thrilled" with the property and their experience.
