The location is conveniently located near the freeway, light rail, and the airport. The property was clean and spacious. The host was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

A very good experience

Lots of positive things to note here. The only things keeping this from being a 5 star property overall is that I found a few of the vertical blind panels were missing from the patio door. The owner's son was working on the property the day we arrived and was observed another day later in the week, so having a teenage daughter, privacy was very important. I would suggest replacing the ones that were missing and cleaning the remaining ones. We also learned that the temperature inside is controlled by the owners, and that tenants can request it turned up or down. Not an issue for us as the weather was beautiful and cool at night so we could open the windows, but this wasn't mentioned on the listing and I might have reconsidered if it was summer and hot outside as the listing doesn't mention AC either (though I am aware some residential listings in the area do not have this option). Other than that, the place was VERY clean, there were plenty of linens, blankets, and pillows. The incidentals such as tin foil and cooking spray, soap, glass cleaner and detergent were extremely helpful. There is a very vocal dog next door that will make it's presence known but never an issue after hours. Quiet, safe neighborhood conveniently located by the airport and grocery store. The owner met us upon arrival and gave us a tour, made us feel welcome and that we could ask if we needed anything.

Did not sleep well for this business trip.

The VRBO was clean. The oven hood had the fan/light control panel hanging. No control over the heat in the unit. This is controlled by the owner upstairs. Every morning between 4:15 and 5 am I was woken up by loud footsteps or items falling on the ground. I reached out to the owner and kindly asked for consideration of the noise as I was in a training class and needed my sleep. He apologized and when I arrived back that day he had left me earmuffs (the kind you would wear at a shooting range) and earplugs. The next morning, I was awakened before 6am again. I guess his solution was for me to wear the earmuffs. Needless to say, even though I went to bed early I did not get good sleep due to be woken up so early. The other issue was that his breaker box is in one of the VRBO's bedroom, which he had to access one day because his power went out and tripped the circuit breaker. I did not enjoy my stay here and I would not recommend it.

Great home away from home space

The space was larger than we thought it would be. I ended up sewing curtains with my daughter and it was great we had a large table and floor space. Grocery store nearby and nice green back yard with grill. Super clean! Comfy bed. Melaku was very accommodating with our special requests. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Property and Great Host!!!

I was travelling on buisiness with a business partner and this property was the PERFECT fit for what we needed. The host communicated well and lives upstairs, but we really never even knew he and his wife were there. The accomodations were great and well furnished with everything we needed. It was nice to have a clean kitchen to cook our meals so we didn't have to eat out all the time. You can tell that the owners are travellers as well because they supplied everything a traveller would need to have all the comforts of home. You could also tell that the owners took pride in their rental/residence as it was well kept. We loved it so much that I have already spoke to the owner about booking again for my trip there next year. Also, this property is in close proximity to the mall, grocery stores, access to the 5 and the 405, and is only 1.2 miles from the Seatac Rental Car Terminal, but it is tucked away in a residential neighbore which is very peaceful and quiet. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

OK for price

Melaku was lovely to deal with and we could have an early check in. On first look everything appeared as online. However there was other issues that came to light as we stayed our 8 nights. First off was the location. Half way between Burien and Southcenter and it wasn't an easy way to find our way around (even though I was familiar with the area).The bedrooms and especially the bathroom was very dark. A light globe was missing in the bathroom and it was overly hot in there. The first night we were woken at 4:30AM with a huge crash. The mirror on the side of the medicine cabinet in the bathroom had come unstuck and crashed into a million pieces on the floor which we cleaned up. The vinyl flooring in the dining room was unstuck in places and I tripped more than once on it. A cupboard in the kitchen didn't close properly AND the key to the door got stuck in the door. Took my husband 10 minutes to get it out. Didn't want to leave the apartment unlocked while we went out. For the price it was OK, but I don't think I'd stay there again. Sorry Melaku, it just wasn't up to the standards we've had at other Stayz.

Quiet and relaxing

Very accommodating and friendly. The place is very clean and cozy. Great neighborhood convenient to mall and stores. Just a very nice atmosphere, I will definitely stay here again.

Peaceful quiet private and pleasurable

Our stay was wonderful! This place has all the amenities needed, such as a laundry room, dishwasher, full kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, adjacent dining area to kitchen and seperated livingroom with leather couches, tv, air purifier, and large table for 6. It also has a work area with printer, envelopes, and note pads. We were very happy! It also has its own patio and parking spot. We definitely would return and highly recommend! Thanks Melaku and family!

Very comfortable and quiet - a pleasant stay!
